In this paper chaos identification and determination of values of parameters that correspond to chaotic behaviour in erbium-doped fiber ring laser is considered. Method based on the time-frequency representation of signals is used for determination of chaotic boundaries in one and two-parameter space. Obtained results agree well with those that can be found in literature.

This paper presents a sinusoidal Wien-bridge ring and relaxation wide range voltage controlled oscillators. All described oscillators have potential using in different application, e.g. phase locked loops, modulation and detection. The frequency changing is based on optically coupled resistor with 100 dB dynamic range. The oscillators were constructed and measured.

In previous work we have analyzed the scalability and quality of approximation of modified CLEAN algorithm applied in geophysical 3D gravity inversion in parallel systems. In this paper we focus on detailed presentation of error calculation applied for the inversion, necessary for realistic solution of multimodal inversion cases. At the end, a comparison of error results from different used formulas is presented

Many of the largest information technology industry leaders today have turned their attention to Wireless Health with wireless services, new personal hardware products, search technologies that focus on health and wellness with data and guidance. The impact on individuals is also unprecedented with individualized, lifetime, health promotion, services that join consumer fitness and entertainment, disease management, and a major advance in geriatric care with individualized guidance and monitoring for individuals in their homes and institutions. Research in wireless health is radically different from research in other areas of Computer Science and Engineering. In this talk we will review key ingredients of a successful research paradigm in Wireless Health. We use Remote Health Monitoring Systems as a case study. Requirements and Objectives of the underling embedded system, along with the corresponding clinical process, will be discussed.

Digital signal processor (DSP) evolution trends now to multicore architectures. Parallelization of signal processing algorithm becomes one of the most important challenge while migrating from single to multi-core. Specifically, a problem of such a classical DSP algorithm as finite impulse response (FIR) filtering implementation on multicore DSP is of great interest. Parallel form of FIR filter for implementation on multicore DSP is considered in this paper. TMS320C6678 DSP from Texas Instruments is used. It is shown that parallel FIR form has some advantages over direct FIR form when implementing on multicore processor. Experimental results of the offered approach implementation with OpenMP parallel programming technique are demonstrated.

As a result of dense installations of public mobile base station, additional electromagnetic radiation occurs in the living environment. Research group of accredited Radio-communications Laboratory, has been involved in human exposure assessments of GSM/UMTS base stations for over 15 years. Within these activities over 2200 base station locations (indoor, masts and locations with installations on buildings) of 5 GSM/UMTS mobile operators in Serbia and in Montenegro were analysed, by simulation and/or measurements. The results of extensive electromagnetic field strength measurements will be presented. Further, it was shown that the measurement process can be significantly accelerated by using shorter time intervals of averaging, while not compromising too much on measurement quality.

Health care delivery in the future may focus on predicting future health needs rather than waiting for a disease to commence. Therefore, the future of health care may be in “predictive health” that emphasizes prediction as much as possible and reduces emerging problems from late diagnoses based on the predictions. Today's researchers are pulling out data available in social networks to predict varied social, political and medical occurrences. The thematic aim of this paper is proposing a model for predicting children's general diseases. We propose a model that can predict children's general diseases with a percentage accuracy and semantic recall based on specially designed ontology and the social relations between people. This service would be a part of a specially designed social network which is to be used by young mothers in our country, especially from the rural areas. In the proposed model, the patient medical data are not included in respect to their privacy and sensitivity. Through the social network we are giving the opportunities to mothers to exchange their experiences through different social services in their mother tongue language and to gain some preliminary predicted diagnosis.

Institute for Sports and Sports Medicine of Montenegro has undertaken a research to determine the state of health of athletes in Montenegro, and led to a clear insight in the state of the health care of athletes in sports clubs and federations. The conclusion to which research led was that the implementation of health protection was left to the federations and clubs, but it is directly dependent on the financial situation in them. In this paper we compare the current system on flow and storage of information on injuries in sports clubs and federations and we propose the improvement of this system through proposal of new ICT solution that hence would lead to a information system. Offered solution would greatly relieve collection, transfer and evaluation and monitoring of sports injuries, and hence with this type of data a valid source for statistical analysis of types of injuries of professional athletes in clubs in Montenegro.

A new algorithm of pre-combination of real image and the image synthesized according to digital terrain map is offered. It has high performance in comparison with correlation-extreme methods. The algorithm allows to localize the point with real coordinates of aircraft in the space of six navigation parameters.

Improvements of both software and hardware in area of digital television enables interaction between content provider and content consumer. Consumers get the choice of selecting desired content. This evolved to a requirement of an additional screen and content protection. In this paper DTCP-IP protection is proposed, enabling safe transmission of content.
