Registration technique for detection of optical signal position under intense background illumination 强背景光照下光信号位置检测的配准技术

The paper demonstrates that the concept of a movable current-voltage characteristic being combined with the proposed double-aperture in PSDs provides a significant decrease of the influence of intense background illumination on the determination accuracy of the median position of a weak modulated signal and at the same time secures the sensor resolution regardless of its linear dimensions. The developed technique guarantees the necessary agreement between the reduction of the negative impact of background illumination and the sensor operating speed.

Real-time spacewire services in networked embedded systems 网络嵌入式系统中的实时空间线服务

SpaceWire is a modern communication network, proposed for spacecraft and aircraft applications. SpaceWire supports packet transmission, time codes broadcasting and interrupts distributing. The aim of the work, presented in the paper, is to make these capabilities accessible for a wide range of networked Linux applications, running at Linux-based SpaceWire nodes. For this purpose several services were developed as Linux kernel modules with a standard user interface. Thus a lot of networking applications can start using SpaceWire without any change or with the very small changes. The paper shows the architecture of the Linux OS with SpaceWire services and the services themselves.

Methods of mutual analysis of rhythmocardiogram and pneumatogram signals to evaluate of body adaptation reserves 心律和心电图信号相互分析评价机体适应储备的方法

The paper deals with the task of identifying the real “respiratory” component of the rhythmocardiogram signal when estimating parameters of heart rate variability. Different methods for formation criterion of synchronization between the cardiovascular and respiratory systems are analyzed. The analysis of possible sources of error in estimation of synchronization criterion with the different methods is made and experimental studies showing the way forward optimal development of methodology for control of this trait are prepared. The method of forming a criterion of synchronization based on the Fechner's correlation coefficient evaluation is proposed. The stability of the developed method to the influence of various artifacts is evaluated. Conclusions about the effectiveness of the method developed are made.

With the recent popularization of second screen concept, new security issues in home networks have emerged. In this paper an overview of three different approaches to solving these issues will be presented. Moreover, flaws and advantages of each concept are highlighted, leading to final proposal for secured content sharing with second screen clients.

Specifying timing requirements in domain specific languages for modeling 用领域特定的语言指定建模的时间要求

Complex Real-Time Embedded Systems (RTESs) can be developed using model-based engineering. The problem is choosing a modeling language that has capabilities to model the most important characteristic of RTESs: timing. This paper shows an analysis of the most popular modeling languages and their capabilities to model timing constraints in RTESs. It includes UML, SysML, AADL, MARTE and EAST-ADL. A brief comparison between MARTE and EAST-ADL, based on the case study from the automotive industry, is also included.

Application of forcing for sensors dynamic characteristics correction 力在传感器动态特性校正中的应用

This paper presents the results of new researches of the method of sensors dynamic characteristics correction — a method of transient response signal forcing in the measuring circuit of the sensor. The efficiency of the forcing method is shown in comparison with the classical algorithm that expects the end of the transient response in the measuring circuit. The limits of the range of the method's main parameter — a signal forcing coefficient are considered. The method is applicable for DC measurements of winding resistance of power transformers or measurements of a constant temperature of the object under step exposure to the sensor. This paper summarizes the development trends of this method of correction that is based on the iterative approach to the conversion of physical quantities. Three-point algorithm of the method of selected points is used as base algorithm for information processing. Maximum error of assessment of the asymptote of a transient response in a measuring circuit described by a first-order circuit is analyzed.

3DMemory — Memory usage analysis tool 3DMemory -内存使用分析工具

Die-stacking technology is opening up new options for memory system design. Through silicon vias (TSV) provide a configurable interface between memory and processing unit and allow a high bandwidth. System performance can be increased significantly by a sophisticated DRAM architecture design. This paper presents a framework providing a design recommendation for memory based on application execution data. The analysis approach can be adapted for different system configurations and applications. In this work a single-core execution of JPEG2000 algorithm for different picture sizes is analyzed with the tool.

Hardware failure and cost analysis of information technology products 信息技术产品的硬件故障与成本分析

Information technology is one of the most risky investment areas for all companies from different sectors. Lack of administrative information, risk of high failure rates are the most common factors that affect decision makers negatively regarding IT projects. Such unforeseen costs may increase total cost of ownership as compared to its initial estimation. Hence analyzing product life cycle and estimating total costs more accurately according to failure rates can decrease uncertainty and helps firms to make better decisions. This paper examines the relationship between time and failure rate of high-end IT products currently in use by industry. In line with the theoretical approach suggested in the literature, an implementation is made by empirical data and future failure rate is predicted by using Weibull distribution. Accuracy and precision results are compared with the existing studies. As a next step, a model is proposed to estimate the maintenance costs.

Real-time processing and analysis of cardiac signals using Android smartphones 利用安卓智能手机实时处理和分析心脏信号

This paper presents a trial to use smart phones in the processing and analysis of cardiac signs like ECG, PPG. The signals are imported via microphone port to the mobile device and further processed by Android application. In addition to the collection and visualization, the application performs the detections of QRS complexes and PPG local maxima in order to determine heart rate, rhythm abnormalities, PTT interval, blood pressure. Also the temperature measurement is included. The system operates in real time, behind a low occupation of the processor resources. The operational principle, system architecture and preliminary testing results are presented. As such it can be employed in various telemedical applications.

Simple UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) controller, compatible with RS232 standard is implemented on Spartan-3E FPGA, through automatic HDL code generation and hardware synthesis. The paper shows how the design can be entirely conveyed in MATLAB/Simulink® environment. There is no need for additional behaviour description in HDL. Results from simulation and experiments verify functionality of the controller.
