Estimation of latency in embedded real-time systems 嵌入式实时系统的延迟估计

A semi-Markov process, as a model of interpretation of an algorithm by embedded controller is considered. Generation of transactions in digital controllers as a result of random wandering on states of semi-Markov process is described. Mathematical expressions for evaluation of stochastic characteristics and time lag densities between transactions are obtained. Latencies between transactions is considered as an important parameter for proper synthesis of control algorithms in real-time embedded digital control systems.

An energy-aware dynamic scheduling algorithm for hard real-time systems 硬实时系统的能量感知动态调度算法

Based on the Earliest Deadline First policy guaranteeing timeliness for hard real-time systems, we propose an enhanced EDF algorithm that varies distinct processor modes with time. Processor modes are determined by supply voltage, frequency and performance requirements, allowing for discrete control of the processors' energy consumption. Thus, processors using the enhanced policy will dissipate less energy and, at the same time, adhere to the deadlines of hard real-time systems.

Development of control platform for micro-UAVs with integrated motion planning in wind 风力综合运动规划微型无人机控制平台的研制

Micro-UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) attract much interest in a wide range of commercial applications. Due to small size, very limited power and susceptibility to wind their design poses difficult problems in control and motion planning. FPGA technology allows integration of high speed control circuits with efficient hardware implementations of complex algorithms on the same reconfigurable hardware chip. This is a very attractive option for implementation of a micro-UAV computing platform. This paper presents development of control platform for micro-UAVs focusing on integration of lower level control with online motion planning in wind. Some aspects of tight integration of on-board optical sensors with the aircraft control system are also discussed.

Converters structure of time-and-frequency signals parameters in a digital unitary code of two variables on a basis two-layer perceptron is respectively constructed. The network training example of the frequency converter in a unitary code of two variables on the two-layer perceptron basis is given.

Resource sharing platform architecture — Service oriented design lab environment 资源共享平台架构——面向服务的设计实验室环境

Sharing the computational resources for laboratory needs is not an easy task. Most of educational institutions are following traditional approach to configure their laboratories. Doing so, they are force to lock and bind a single technology to a dedicated laboratory. The proposed service oriented resource sharing platform is trying to avoid this problem and at the same time is trying to elevate the lab configuration on the next level. The platform design offers flexible computational lab resource sharing scenarios while computational resources are shared as a template service based on course criteria requirements. The proposed platform delivers flexibility, convergence and empowers user experience while the platform architecture design offers scalable computational resource sharing model. Sharing computational resources as a template service allows similar courses to collaborate with each other using and sharing the same computational resources simultaneously.

FPGA-based implementation of binary input compressive sensing decoder 基于fpga的二进制输入压缩感知解码器的实现

Binary input compressive sensing (BiCS) is the kernel of seamless rate adaptation system. But the high complexity of the decoding algorithms has prevented this technique from being applied to practical communication systems. In this paper, a decoder with serial architecture is proposed and implemented in FPGA. Two specific optimizations are employed to improve the throughput of the decoder. First, we take advantage of the configurable aspect ratio of the block RAM in FPGA to make the decoder work fully pipelined. Second, the ping pang operation is adopted to increase the hardware utilization efficiency. When the clock frequency is 300MHz and the number of iterations is 10, the maximum throughput of the decoder is about 29.4Mbps that reaches the range of communication rate in modern wireless networks.

Algorithmic supply of IR sensors with FPN using texture homogeneity levels 基于纹理均匀性水平的FPN红外传感器算法供给

The new algorithm for infrared (IR) image enhancement compensating fixed pattern noise (FPN) of the volt sensitivity in IR un-cooled sensors is described. The main idea of the algorithm lies in the presentation of any input image as the set of calibrating segments. The segmentation procedure uses the texture homogeneity levels and the estimators of the transfer coefficients calculated within each level. The results of modeling have shown the advantage of the proposed algorithm comparing with well-known 2-point FPN correction procedures under PSNR and SSIM criteria.

Virtual reality head-tracking observation system for mobile robot 移动机器人虚拟现实头部跟踪观察系统

Previously, Hybrid-Routing Algorithm Model was proposed by the Structures, Pointing, and Control Engineering (SPACE) University Research Center1 at California State University of Los Angeles (CSULA). The Hybrid-Routing Algorithm Model utilizes semi-autonomous control during robotic operations in unknown, remote, hazardous, or otherwise inaccessible terrains. In order to observe and monitor mobile robot's surroundings, an onboard virtual reality system has been designed and implemented. It operates by remotely following the commanded movement of the robotic mission operator's headset. The proposed design features the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) chip secured to the center of the iTV-goggles unit., which is worn by the robotic mission operator. Direction cosine matrix algorithm is used to update the body coordinates of the IMU chip to the global reference system. Euler angles are computed based on the angular orientation of the mission operator's headset and are transmitted to the mobile robot. The observation system contains multiple servo motors that rotate onboard camera based on the received pitch roll, and yaw information. The observation system transmits compressed visual information of robot's surroundings to the Host Computing Station. This video is rendered via iTV-goggles display to the mission operator.

Diverse images combination in aircraft onboard technical vision systems (TVS) issue is inaccurate determination of aircraft coordinates and TVS sensors positioning angles with incomplete synthesized images object structure. Existing algorithms cannot perform images combination in a reasonable time or cannot reach required accuracy. Pitch and roll angles definition errors lead to essential discrepancy of images combination based on navigation data only. Using pitch and roll angles accurate values allow to reduce computational costs of images combination by six parameters.

Existing algorithms cannot perform images combination in a reasonable time or cannot reach required accuracy. Pitch and roll angles definition errors lead to essential discrepancy of images combination based on navigation data only. Concerning current STFT estimations to the RC diode circuit 关于RC二极管电路的电流STFT估计

The subject of the theoretical analysis presented in this article is obtaining formulae for current in the RC diode nonlinear circuit by using the Special trans functions theory (STFT). Namely, the modified Lambert nonlinear functional equation which describes the current in RC diode circuit is solved analytically in closed form (a novel special tran function, tranLD(R, C, T, i (0)), and, also, is solved by using an advanced iterative procedure within STF theory. Structure of the STFT solutions, numerical results and graphical simulations confirm the validity of the basic principle of the STFT.
本文理论分析的主题是利用特殊反函数理论(STFT)得到RC二极管非线性电路中的电流表达式。即,将描述RC二极管电路电流的改进的Lambert非线性泛函方程以封闭形式解析求解(一种新的特殊的tran函数,tranLD(R, C, T, i(0)),并在STF理论中采用先进的迭代过程求解。STFT解的结构、数值结果和图形仿真验证了STFT基本原理的有效性。
