There are so many vehicles in the world and the number of vehicles is increasing rapidly. The main reason of wasting time in search of free parking spaces is the lack of information, in particular for open/roadside parking availability. Various ICT-based solutions have been proposed to solve this issue, but still suffering from limited integration among each other and with external online services, such as touristic information services. In this paper, we introduced a new parking system Cloud-interactive (Ci) - Parking. The parking process can be modeled as self machine learning process and the accurate when and what predictions as well as predictions of revenues can be made. Based on the prediction, new business promotion can be made, for example, on-sale prices and new parking fees. In Ci-Parking, new promotions can be published through wireless network. Another important feature of the Ci-Parking is the possibility for end users to share their knowledge about parking occupancy, which is very useful when a parking area is not provided with precise availability counters.

This paper seeks to present an improved microstrip patch antenna design and presents the results of comparison with a conventional microstrip antenna. It focusses on simulation of monopole single feed slotted patch antenna operating in the X band and Ku band. Resonant frequency has been reduced drastically by four slots from the conventional microstrip patch antenna. The design is simulated by using the Method of Moment (MOM) based IE3D software.

In this paper, a rectangular microstrip patch antenna with a rectangular slot defective ground structure (DGS) is designed at an operating frequency of 2.4 GHz and simulated using HFSS software. The effect of defective ground structure on the rectangular microstrip patch antenna is observed by varying the position of the rectangular slot and the performance of the antenna is measured in terms of return loss, bandwidth, VSWR and gain. The performance of the antenna is improved by inserting a rectangular slot defect on the ground plane and the simulated results show that the bandwidth of the rectangular microstrip antenna is improved from 56 MHz to 111 MHz.

In opportunistic networks, rather than accepting an end-to-end communication in the conventional Internet model. Opportunistic networking stems from the research area of mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET). Opportunistic networks are wireless networks in which a completely connected path from source to destination is not likely to exist. Mobile ad hoc routing protocol allows nodes with wireless adaptors to communicate with one another without any pre-existing network infrastructure. An improved routing protocol based on Prophet routing protocol is being proposed for underwater communication. Our results show that the proposed routing protocol is able to provide better results in term of message delivery probability and overhead ratio.

In this paper, we designed Schmitt trigger using CMOS low power design technique at 45nm technology. With the advancement of technology, different parameters have been calculated and analyzed to determine the performance of the circuit. With the change in technology, the aspect ratio of transistor sizing, variation in parameters also takes place. Different techniques are applied for the reduction in power consumption at the trade off with delay and area. In this paper we use novel FinFET technique to decrease the leakage power in the circuit. Schmitt trigger is a positive feedback amplifier that converts any continuous time varying signal to pulse wave. It forms the comparator of modern analog to digital convertor circuits, and it provides good noise immunity, thus it is used in communication. Parameters like slew rate, propagation delay, energy delay product etc of the circuit are calculated in both CMOS and FinFET technique and compared. Leakage power obtained using FinFET is 12.08PW which is very less to that of bulk CMOS. Designing is done with variable voltage supply and the performance of the circuit is observed at different points. The circuit is simulated in Cadence virtuoso tool version 6.1 output of all is compared.

It has been observed that last five years the sale of cars has been increased drastically because the ownership of car not restricted to rich people but it is extended to upper middle class people. Rich peoples are preferred the size of vehicle in luxury segment, as the slot size are fixed it is very difficult to park this type of vehicle which required more space to park. To overcome this problem a Matlab based system is used to park different size vehicle, according to the requirements slot can be managed. This paper deals with the development of simulation model for parking system with space modeling that emphasizes on the performance, namely the parking probability. This system is very useful to vehicle owner as well as public or private parking owners, with the help of this system parking efficiency and parking revenue can be increased. This system is very effectively useful as compared to the existing parking system because it use to minimize the time consumed for finding the nearest available slot and increase the utility of space.

Effective web security practices are key to the success of the Semantic Web. Security measures of authorization, integrity and privacy are to be catered for storage and maintenance of data on the web. Ontology is being highly recommended for security of web services. Many security parameters are being embedded in OWL-S. Security models mapped to ontology seem to be very effective. This paper demonstrates ontology based intrusion detection system for web application security. Context capture of information from links and scripts is the premise of the proposed system. The proposed IDS ontological model detects protocol specific attacks as well identifies malicious scripts. This model identifies types of attacks and vulnerabilities therein. A TCP dump of data on LAN was acquired and evaluated against KDD99 intrusion detection predictor model dataset. Ontology model was designed using Protégé. Our ontology model establishes semantic relationship between attacks and networks. The experimental results showed our model has improved detection rate and low rate of false positives.
