Evaluation of human resource development and institutional aspects is a process of providing information that can be used as a consideration to improve capabilities and be able to influence the implementation of community empowerment programs. The aimed of this study was to evaluate the capacity of human resources, institutions, and aquaculture marketing systems in the minapolitan area of Merangin Regency. The method of data collection was carried out using a structured interview method with the help of a questionnaire to 493 fish cultivating households (CH). Data were analyzed by multidimensional scaling and leverage analysis using Rapfish software. The results showed that the CH of catfish obtained the highest average index of 55.58, followed by the CH of gouramy at 53.60, the CH of tilapia at 54.57 and the CH of catfish obtained an average index of 54.71. This illustrates that the performance of catfish farmers in aquaculture production technology and management systems is better than the performance of other fish farmers. The results of the evaluation of all aspects of the capacity of human resources, institutions, and aquaculture marketing systems indicate that there are 3 aspects that are in the range of 50.10-75.00 with moderately sustainable status, namely; human resource development aspect with an average index value (AIV) of 68.64, technology aspect with an AIV of 52.98, and natural resources aspect with an AIV of 65.22. Meanwhile, there are 2 aspects that are in the range of 25.10-50.00 with less sustainable status, namely the institutional aspect with an AIV of 48.23 and the economic aspect with an AIV of 48.62.Keywords: Aquaculture; Institutional; Marketing; Sustainability

Osmoregulation performance, condition factor, and gonad maturity of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Cengklik reservoir, Boyolali 罗非鱼在Boyolali Cengklik水库的渗透调节性能、条件因子和性腺成熟度

Osmoregulation is a physiological adjustment mechanism of fish to environmental conditions. Fish growth performance will reduce when a large amount of energy is redirected for the osmoregulation process. The purpose of this study was to determine the osmotic work level (OWL), osmoregulation pattern, condition factor (K), gonad maturity stages (GMS) and analyze the relationship between OWL with condition factor and GMS of tilapia collected from three floating net cages in Cengklik reservoir, Boyolali. Samples were collected during March – April 2022 followed by some allometric measurements and regression analyses. The OWL of tilapia at the three cages ranged from 4 – 10 mOsm/L H2O; they performed a hyperosmotic osmoregulation pattern. The condition factor of male and female tilapia were1,86±0,21 and 1,89±0,18. GMS of both male and female tilapia was dominated by GMS IV with a fecundity of 9408±2092.54 eggs. OWL did not reveal a significant effect on condition factors or on the GMS of tilapia (p>0.05). Pearson correlation test showed a weak relationship between OWL with condition factors (r = 0,204) and tilapia GMS (r = -0,001). Therefore, tilapia uses less energy in osmotic work to produce good growth performance because it has more energy for growth, as indicated by the high condition factor (K>1) and domination by fish with GMS IV level of mature gonads.Keywords: Condition Factor; Gonad Maturity; Fish Cages; Oreochromis niloticus; Osmoregulation

The effectiveness of the thyroxine hormone in feed to improve growth performance efficiency and the survival rate of the cantang grouper (Epinephelus sp.) 饲料中添加甲状腺素对沧塘石斑鱼生长性能和成活率的影响

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the hormone thyroxine in feed to increase the efficiency of growth performance and revive the life of the cantang grouper (Epinephelus sp.). Something that can be done to achieve this goal is to provide the hormone thyroxine in fish feed to increase growth acceleration. This study used an experimental method using a non-factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replications. The treatments in this study were: thyroxine hormone A (0 mg), B (6 mg), C (7 mg), D (8 mg), and E (9 mg). Parameters observed were: feed efficiency (ep), growth rate, feed conversion ratio (FCR), fish behavior, and survival. The results showed that fish behavior during rearing included fish movement, appetite, and fish skin color. The most active swimming fish were found in all treatments which were given feed containing the hormone thyroxine. The best feed efficiency (EP) value in treatment E was 76.29%. The value of the feed conversion ratio (FCR) in treatment E was 1.76%. The best growth was in treatment E in weight (2.88 cm) and length (36.85 cm). The best survival in treatments C and D was 98%. Water quality parameters during the study were temperature 27-280C, pH 7.0-7.9, Salinity 25-30 ppt, DO 5.9-6.9ppm, and Ammonia 0.0359-0.1946 ppm. The results of the observations showed that there were differences in fish-fed hormone-containing feed for 60 days and fish behavior. Identification of Osteochilus spilurus (Cyprinidae: Labeoninae) from North Lampung using meristic and cytochrome b gene 利用分生和细胞色素b基因鉴定南榜北产细骨螟(鲤科:唇虱科)

Osteochilus spilurus is one of the native fish in Indonesia. This species from North Lampung has variations in body shape with populations in Bangka and Belitung. Morphological plasticity and genetic variation are potential causes of these differences. To confirm this, it is necessary to identify molecular using the mitochondrial cytochrome b (cyt b) gene. Fish samples from North Lampung had morphological characters that matched to the description of O. spilurus. This research specimen was registered at the Bogor Zoological Museum as a supplementary note from Lampung. The phylogenetic construction shows a closer relationship between fish samples from North Lampung and O. spilurus from Bangka-Belitung, but there is a wide genetic distance between them. Genetic variation between islands that occur is predicted due to differences in ancient river flows in the past and the geographical isolation of the oceans for thousands of years.Keywords: Cytochrome b; Lampung; Osteochilus spilurus; Genetic Variation

Bangka Jaya Beach is located in Krueng Geukueh Village, Dewantara sub-district. Many tourists who often visit Bangka Jaya beach tourism, therefore it is necessary to analyze the suitability of beach tourism, through this research it will be known the level of tourism suitability to the parameters that have been determined as a determination of the level of security for tourists who carry out beach tourism activities. This study aims to determine the condition of oceanographic parameters for the suitability of Bangka Jaya beach tourism in a beach tourism object and analyze the level of tourism suitability based on the potential of existing resources in the coastal area of Bangka Jaya. Primary data that must be taken in the field include tourism suitability data. The tourism suitability data taken include beach type, beach width, water depth, brightness, current speed, water base material, coastal slope, coastal land cover, hazardous biota, and freshwater availability. Primary data collection was carried out in the morning when the sea water was high and in the afternoon when the sea water was receding. The sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling method in December - January 2022. The method used was descriptive analysis using the Tourism Suitability Index (IKW) analysis. The results of the study of the tourism suitability index (IKW) obtained the results of measuring the parameters of tourism suitability of 90.47% which was a very suitable category (S1). The tourism suitability parameter in the tourism suitability index table (IKW) can be seen that almost every parameter is included in the very suitable category (S1) of all parameters there are two parameters that fall into the appropriate category (S2), namely the beach type parameter and the beach slope parameter.Keywords: Beach; Oceanography; Suitability; Tour

The sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling method in December - January 2022. The method used was descriptive analysis using the Tourism Suitability Index (IKW) analysis. The results of the study of the tourism suitability index (IKW) obtained the results of measuring the parameters of tourism suitability of 90.47% which was a very suitable category (S1). Evaluation of different types of phytoplankton on rearing of vannamei shrimp larva (Litopenaues vanamei) 不同类型浮游植物对凡纳滨对虾幼虾养殖效果的评价

This study aims to determine the effect of giving different types of phytoplankton on the survival, abundance of bacteria, and water quality of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). This research was carried out from October to November 2020 at the Laboratory of the Brackish Water Cultivation Center (BBAP) Ujung Batee, Aceh Besar. The larvae of the tested shrimp used were shrimp at Nauplius stages 5-6. The method used was a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Provision of phytoplankton Thalassiosira sp and artificial feed (treatment A), Chaetoceros sp and artificial feed (treatment B), Skeletonema costatum (Treatment C), a combination of phytoplankton Thallasiosira sp, Chaetoceros sp, Skeletonema costatum and artificial feed (treatment D) and artificial feed alone (treatment E). The test larvae were placed in a container with a density of seed stocking for each container was 100 fish/liter with a maintenance period of up to Post larval stage 1 (PL 1). The frequency of giving phytoplankton was done 2 times a day, namely at 09.00 am and 15.00 pm. While the frequency of artificial feed was 6 times, namely at 07.00 WIB in the morning, 11.00 WIB, 16.00 WIB in the afternoon, 21.00 WIB at night, 01.00 WIB in the morning, and 04.00 WIB in the morning. The results obtained showed that the treatment with phytoplankton had a significant effect on the survival of vanname shrimp larvae. Therefore, it can be concluded that the highest survival rate is in treatment D.Keywords: phytoplankton; survival; vaname; water quality

LAS (Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonate) surfactants are the main cleaning agents from the anionic group found in detergents that are widely used in Indonesia. LAS decomposes in surface water for 1-2 days, in sediments it decomposes for 1-3 days, in marine and estuarine systems it decomposes for 5-10 days. LAS is generally degraded by as much as 90% within 3 months, with a time ranging from 5-30 days (World Health Organization, 1996). LAS surfactants can cause damage to the gill epithelium and blockage of branchiola channels in fish. This study aims to determine the toxic effect of LAS surfactant on the survival of white snapper (Lates calcarifer) fry and to determine the toxicity value of LC50 (Lethal Concentration) of LAS surfactant to white snapper (Lates calcarifer) fry on a laboratory scale. This research was carried out on September 21 – October 04, 2021 at the Marine Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University using laboratory experimental methods with 5 treatments, namely: control treatment A (0 ppm), B (0.83 ppm), C (1.58 ppm). ), D (2.16 ppm), and E (2.91 ppm). The results of this study cause barramundi to experience irregular movements, mouth opening and operculum tend to be fast and irregular, scales are pale and peeling, and cause death, LAS surfactants affect water quality such as pH and dissolved oxygen, but have no effect on salinity and temperature. The 24-hour LC50 value is 1.95 ppm, the 48-hour LC50 value is 1.86 ppm, the 72-hour LC50 value is 1.70 ppm, and the 96-hour LC50 value is 1.58 ppm.Key words : LAS surfactant; LC50; toxicity; white snapper

Analysis of the yellowfin tuna marketing chain at PPP Pondok Dadap Sendang Biru, South Malang 南玛琅PPP Pondok Dadap Sendang Biru黄鳍金枪鱼销售链分析

The goal of this study was to investigate the yellowfin tuna marketing chain in PPP Pondok Dadap Sendang Biru. Additionally, this study determined the margin and price share earned by yellowfin tuna fishermen. This research employed a survey strategy that included direct observation and interviews. The data used were original sources collected during October and November 2021. The respondents were chosen using the snowball sampling technique, which is a technique for identifying informants or respondents who possess a wealth of information on the research being conducted. There were 37 respondents. According to the study's findings, there are three distinct channels for yellowfin tuna marketing at PPP Pondok Dadap Sendang Biru. In chain 2, retailers earned the largest overall margin of Rp. 8,864/Kg, or 29 percent. In channel 3, retailers earned the largest overall margin of Rp. 12,000/Kg, or 34%. The biggest Fisherman's share, at 62 percent, is in the type 2 marketing chain.Keywords: fisherman’s share; marketing chain; margin; tuna

This study aims to analyze the statistical parameters of bed load grains in Sungai Kakap Waters, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Bed load sampling was carried out at seven stations, with five sampling points each. The hydrometer test on the sample was carried out to determine the grain type and size of the bed load, and statistical parameter analysis to determine the mean size, sorting, skewness, and kurtosis. The results showed that the fraction of bed load in the form of sand was 38.54%, silt was 42.11%, and clay was 19.28%. The bed load was dominated by three types, clayey clay, clay, and dusty clay. Based on the grain size parameters of the bed load, the mean size (in  units) is 0.94 – 2.24, with the classification of coarse sand to fine sand. The results also showed that the sorting obtained is poorly sorted, the skewness of the sediment is very fine skewed, and the kurtosis is platykurtic.Keywords: bed load; sorting; skewness; kurtosis

Nutritional and microbial safety of common commercial aquafeeds sold in Ogun State, Nigeria 尼日利亚奥贡州销售的普通商业水产饲料的营养和微生物安全性

The nutritional and microbial safety of fish feeds were investigated in this study. Commercially available fish feed brands (Eco-float, Skretting, Top-Feeds, Blue Crown) were procured from sales outlets in Ogun State, Nigeria. Moisture ranged from 8.15 to 8.82 and these values were not significantly different (p>0.05) except for Topfeed. Skretting had the highest crude protein value (48.49±0.03) while Ecofloat recorded the least value of 45.30±0.06 (p<0.05). The values obtained for crude fibre, crude fat, ash, and carbohydrate were significantly different (p<0.05) across the sampled feeds. Crude fibre ranged from 4.31±0.04 in Ecofloat to 3.20±0.03 in Skretting. Skretting had the highest value recorded for crude fat (6.27±0.11) and ash (10.06±0.18) while Ecofloat had the least value of 1.29±0.00 and 8.01±0.17 respectively. Ecofloat had the highest value for carbohydrate (32.95±0.07), marginally followed by Topfeed (28.79±0.13) and Bluecrown (28.65±0.06) with Skretting recording the lowest value (23.55±0.38). The values for all the minerals analyzed were significantly different (p<0.05). Calcium had the highest values across the sampled feeds, followed by sodium while potassium recorded the lowest values. Tannin recorded the highest value amongst all the phytochemicals, followed by flavonoids and the least value was recorded for glycosides. Total aerobic count, total coliform count and total fungal count ranged from 1.61±0.01 to 3.53±0.0, 0.00±0.00 to 3.10±0.01 and 0.00±0.00 to 2.34±0.05 respectively. Isolated bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus, S. saprophyticus, Klebsiella spp, Bacillus spp, and Escherichia coli. The fungi identified were Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus spp, Aspergillus flavus, Geotrichum spp, and Saccharomyces spp. Hence, there is a need for quality monitoring.Keywords: aquafeed safety, microbial risk, Nigeria

Skretting had the highest crude protein value (48.49±0.03) while Ecofloat recorded the least value of 45.30±0.06 (p<0.05). The values obtained for crude fibre, crude fat, ash, and carbohydrate were significantly different (p<0.05) across the sampled feeds. Crude fibre ranged from 4.31±0.04 in Ecofloat to 3.20±0.03 in Skretting. Skretting had the highest value recorded for crude fat (6.27±0.11) and ash (10.06±0.18) while Ecofloat had the least value of 1.29±0.00 and 8.01±0.17 respectively. Ecofloat had the highest value for carbohydrate (32.95±0.07), marginally followed by Topfeed (28.79±0.13) and Bluecrown (28.65±0.06) with Skretting recording the lowest value (23.55±0.38). The values for all the minerals analyzed were significantly different (p<0.05). Calcium had the highest values across the sampled feeds, followed by sodium while potassium recorded the lowest values. Tannin recorded the highest value amongst all the phytochemicals, followed by flavonoids and the least value was recorded for glycosides. Total aerobic count, total coliform count and total fungal count ranged from 1.61±0.01 to 3.53±0.0, 0.00±0.00 to 3.10±0.01 and 0.00±0.00 to 2.34±0.05 respectively. Isolated bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus, S. saprophyticus, Klebsiella spp, Bacillus spp, and Escherichia coli.
