Effect of parameter tuning of differential evolution on PID controller for automatic generation control of a hybrid power system in deregulated environment 微分演化参数整定对PID控制器在放松管制环境下混合电力系统自动发电控制的影响

Differential evolution (DE) is one of the most powerful evolutionary algorithm that has been extensively used by various researchers for global optimization of complex engineering problems. Selection of algorithm control parameter plays a vital role in the efficient performance of differential evolution algorithm. However, choice of control parameters for optimum performance varies from problem to problem. In this work a parametric study of differential evolution tuned PID controller for automatic generation control of a restructured hybrid power system is presented. Gain parameters of PID controller Kp, Ki, Kd are tuned by Integral Square Error (ISE) control strategy. Analysis of results obtained shows that improper choice of control parameters considerably hampers the performance of the algorithm. MATLAB/SIMULINK platform is used for modeling and simulating the test system.

A survey on modern trends in ECG noise removal techniques 心电降噪技术的现代发展趋势综述

Unwanted signal contents always degrades the quality of ECG signal. Since ECG is a non-stationary signal, noise removal always is a complicated task. ECG signal is a raw material for diagnosis and analysis of almost all heart diseases and hence demands a good quality. A survey of various types of various denoising approaches emerged over recent years has been presented in this paper. FIR and IIR filtering, low and high frequency noise removal techniques, Quadrature filtering, Adaptive noise cancellation techniques, Non-Local Means denoising techniques (NLM), Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD), Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD), Wavelet transform denoising methods and recent developments are discussed along with comparatives studies.

Text classification using KM-ELM classifier 使用KM-ELM分类器进行文本分类

Classification systems adapts many machine learning techniques for quality performance in data classification. The neural networks has some unique characteristics and features which can handle high dimensional features and documents with noise and contradictory data. Classification is important to classify the input text into different domains appropriately. This paper give out a move towards classification of text that combines two machine learning techniques, K-Means and extreme learning machines. First the clustering and feature selection will perform using K-Means algorithm and then this attribute will be the training set for the extreme learning machine. Extreme learning machines nothing but a feed forward neural network without any tuning and has a single hidden layer. The experimental results on different datasets have shown that the combination of machine learning techniques shows a performance improvement.

Improved Sheep Flock Heredity Algorithm based fault detection and localization in power transmission lines 基于改进羊群遗传算法的输电线路故障检测与定位

Power transmission is one of the fields drastically growing in the world presently. In this paper, it is aimed to provide a solution for detecting the fault and its location accurately by utilizing ISFHA-[Improved Sheep Flock Heredity Algorithm]. It is necessary to satisfy the customer in terms of power quality transmission. Power quality damages occur due to short circuit, natural disasters and other problems. The estimation of fault and location of the fault can be detected using the local and global searching techniques of ISFH algorithm. Since the ISFHA utilizes the optimization methodology the accuracy of fault detection and localization is high. Also, the effects of ISFHA parameters such as population, crossover and chromosome generation including fitness function to achieve the optimized result. The simulation results are compared with the existing results obtained using GA is compared to evaluating the performance of the ISFHA.

Parallel frequent itemset mining with spark RDD framework for disease prediction 基于spark RDD框架的并行频繁项集挖掘疾病预测

The aim behind frequent itemset mining is to find all common sets of items defined as those itemsets that have at least a minimum support. There are many well known algorithms for frequent itemset mining. Some of which are Apriori, Eclat, RElim, SaM, and FP-Growth. Although each of these algorithms is well formed and works in different scenarios, the main drawback of these algorithms is that they were designed to perform on small chunks of data. These limitations were imposed based on time that they were developed. The notion of big data was not up and running at these times. So in the present scenario these algorithms won't perform well on the current statistics of data present. So we propose a new approach of implementing these well known algorithms on a parallelized manner so that it can handle the data perfectly. The proposed work parallelizes, dynamic frequent itemset mining algorithm, Faster-IAPI with spark RDD framework. The main goal of selecting Apache Spark is that it overcomes the limitations of the Hadoop architecture which was basically designed to handle big data processing in a parallelized manner. The main drawback of the architecture was that it doesn't handle the Iterative algorithms very well. This drawback is rectified in spark which handles it well. In this approach this algorithm is applied to find correlation between different symptoms of patients in faster and efficient manner and provides the support for the prediction of occurrence of disease based on the symptoms.

Modeling and implementation of various controllers used for Quadruple-Tank 用于四缸的各种控制器的建模和实现

This paper deals with the simulation and modelling of a Quadruple-Tank interacting system using various controllers. Quadruple-Tank is a one kind of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) system. It is not possible to determine all the parameters used in Multi variable systems. The major issues in a multivariable process are that loop interaction can arise and causes difficulty in design of feedback controllers. These problems can be solved by using various controllers like PID and FUZZY-PID. The Quadruple-Tank process consists of four tanks and two pumps. The main aim of Quadruple-Tank process is the flexible positioning one of the multivariable zeros on left half of `s' plane. The simulation result shows the effective output of various controllers used in this work.

Effects of parameter variation on imperialistic competition based economic emission dispatch 参数变化对帝国主义竞争经济排放调度的影响

Imperialistic competitive algorithm (ICA) is a recently developed meta-heuristic technique that has been successfully implemented for solving various complex optimization problems. Like other meta-heuristic techniques, performance of ICA predominantly depends on the selection of control parameters. However, optimal setting of control parameter for ICA is problem specific. In this paper, a study of control parameter setting for an imperialistic competitive algorithm based economic emission dispatch problem with valve point loading and transmission loss is carried out. Economic emission dispatch problem was formulated by taking equality constraint on power balance and inequality constraint on generator capacity limit and losses into consideration. Proposed approach was examined on a ten generating unit system and effects of parametric variation on results are presented. Analysis of obtained results reveals that an improper selection of algorithm control parameter might lead to premature convergence and poor computation efficiency.

This paper presents automated Multiple Liquid Bottle Filling (MLBF) system in which liquid is filled depending upon the color of bottle. The manual system of bottle filling cannot be applied in modern industries with bulk filling requirements as the process can consume considerable time and may causing spilling or wastage of the products. Consistency in filling of the bottles can also be yet another issue rising out of the manual bottle filling processes. The Automatic systems provide a viable solution to overcome the drawback of manual Systems. But, the existing Automatic Liquid Bottle Filling (LBF) systems are unable to fill multiple liquids using single system. The peculiar feature of proposed automatic system is that, multiple liquids can be filled using single system. The experimental set up is designed for filling two liquids, depending upon the color of bottles, using Siemens S7-1200 Programmable logic controller (PLC).

A practical approach to E-mail spam filters to protect data from advanced persistent threat 电子邮件垃圾邮件过滤器的实用方法,以保护数据免受高级持久威胁

Time based Self-destructing email mainly aims at protecting data privacy. In this paper we discussed the spear phishing process as a part of advanced persistent threat attack which gathers information and targets an individual or organization. It implements of social engineering techniques to gather data regarding recipient. Malicious emails are sent by combining the psychological and technical tricks, where phishing emails contains web-links that provoke the recipient to click on them, these links contains websites that are infected with malware. We also concentrated on Spam Emails and Targeted Malicious E-mails. In this paper we discussed recipient side detection techniques, such as spam or Junk mail filters using mathematical concept of Bayesian spam filtering. We contribute a clear indication of behavioral structure of Advanced Persistent Threat and a self-destructive mechanism is adopted as Defense System to protect sensitive confidential data from intruders. A mathematical approach is given along with the computational practical analysis and experimental result.

Dependent component cost model of legacy application for hybrid cloud 混合云遗留应用的依赖组件成本模型

Cloud computing is an emerging technology employing pay-as-you-go technique helps many enterprises to concentrate on cloud migration. An affordable cost enables several legacy applications to opt for migration. Since legacy applications are made up of distributed components, the migration of all the components to the cloud result in the increase of cloud migration cost. In this paper, several pricing models and pricing types were studied. This paper analyzed several factors affecting the cost of migration and based on the selected cost parameters an optimal formula for estimation of cost was derived.
