Fuel adulteration has become a very important and global issues nowadays. For overall development of the country transportation facilities must be better which depends on quality and purity of fuel. Adulteration or mixing of various substances causing degradation and reducing the quality of fuel has become an important issues nowadays, due to which overall economy of the country is down. Due to altering the properties of fuel, it doesn't meet the specifications as per requirement. The proposed system is based on Statistical analysis of the data samples. The system is based on Image analysis by which various parameters are calculated. The Existing systems are quite tedious and time consuming. Kerosene and diesel are the adulterants used in petrol. Fuel-adulterant mixtures in different proportions by volume were prepared and individually tested. The mixtures were administered to vehicles and the tail pipe exhaust emission drastically increased. There is considerable change in psnr (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio), and Histogram plot shows the differences of Standard and adulterated concentrations. The proposed system results are validated against Laboratory Tests.

The world today is becoming smart in-terms of technology. Internet of Things is an enabler for smart world. However the problem with internet of Things is that they are devices which support heterogeneous methods of communication. Another problem is that the existing network is already loaded and the surge of data increase once more and more devices are connected will be enormous. In this paper we propose a framework to easily imbibe Internet of Things devices into the network with better control than the existing scenario. Also we proposed a device to solve the challenge of heterogeneous communication methods used in IoT. We also gave the sequence of steps which is the flow of data from the IoT to the remote processing device. Our future work is to provide the implementation details of the proposed device.

Transmission system loadability enhancement using modern techniques are one of the interesting research areas under power system planning studies. This paper address the location of Distributed Generation (DG) in the network not only loadability enhancement but also for transmission loss minimization and voltage stability enhancement. We have proposed a novel strategic approach for DG location and size by considering (N-1) line contingency criterion. The approach is analyzed with IEEE 14-bus and IEEE 30-bus test systems. The results are validating the proposed approach for real-time applications.

The proposed project performs motion detection and animal tracking based on background subtraction using multi threshold approach with mathematical morphology. Here the techniques frame differences; multi threshold based detection will be used. Along with this multi threshold, mathematical morphology also used which has an ability to attenuate color variations produced by background motions which will highlight moving objects. After the object foreground detection, the parameters like animal or human will be detected. Finally the simulated results will be shown. It will use approximate method with mathematical morphology approach rather than prior background subtraction methods using animal tracking on efficient result.

The size of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) transistor keep shrinking to increase the density on chip in accordance with Moore's Law [1]. The scaling affect the device performance due to constraints like heat dissipation and power consumption [3], further scaling would hit the physical limitation [16]. Effortshave been made to come up with the new device alternative to CMOS, to continually improve the development of electronic device. Quantum Dot Cellular Automata (QCA) technology is one such promising alternative, that can overcome the scaling issue and offer fast computation performance, high density, and low power consumption. Another emerging technology that can help in reducing heat dissipation is reversible logic. This paper proposes the idea of implementing reversible combinational circuits and square computation circuits using QCA architecture. The designs are captured and simulated using QCA Designer software, performance of each designs namely area and energy are compared for conventional and Reversible QCA design.

In recent years, image retrieval has much impact on handhold mobile applications to high-end database processing. Text and content based image retrieval are the common methods in existence. Though it made lot of changes, retrieving human expressions is challenging one for the recent researchers. We introducing a new technique called Ratio of Sum to Centre and Maximum pixel (RSCM) feature which leads to communicate with machines via facial expressions. In the proposed system, first the images in the database get pre-processed and this image can be given to the gabor filter to segment the image as the gabor wavelet blocks. The output of the gabor filter given to the RSCM feature extraction algorithm to extract various expression based features from the image and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) will train the features. Eventually, the comparative analysis performed using the commonly used methods namely precision and recall were clearly shown that the proposed system provide better results than the conventional systems and retrieve the images based upon the expression.

Electrical transmission system is a very complex structure. To provide quality power to the end user customer. It is required to control the power by avoiding the congestion effect. To meet the quality power distributed generation may be adopted at different location nearer to the load. This paper investigate the performance of a renewable energy based grid connected system through load voltage ride through capability. The main objective of the paper is to enhance the quality of power by implementing suitable control strategy.

Solar energy source is one of the most promising energy sources in nature, but the output power generated by photovoltaic (PV) devices which converts sun's light energy to electrical energy, is a nonlinear function of the external environment. To improve the performance of PV devices in such cases, design of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function is more important. In addition to it, in DC grid connected applications of PV system, the grid voltage fluctuates due to load disturbances, so a voltage controller is needed to maintain stable dc output. The aim of this work is to develop a hybrid controller for PV based DC-DC boost converter in DC grid connected applications. The hybrid controller proposed here consists of MPPT controller and a voltage regulator. The MPPT controller uses random search method to track the global maximum power point and voltage regulating action is performed by using PID controller, which is used to maintain stable dc output irrespective of grid fluctuations. In the proposed system, the output of PV array fed DC-DC boost converter B1 is connected to boost converter B2 whose output is fed to DC grid. While boost converter B1 will take care of MPPT, the other will function as voltage regulator thus meeting dual requirement of both MPPT and voltage regulation of DC bus with the help of independent duty ratio control of DC-DC boost converters. Modeling and simulation of proposed system is performed in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The results presented show that the controller for the individual DC-DC boost converters are able to maintain the desired DC link voltage apart from harvesting maximum power from the solar PV irrespective of variation in the insolation at the input and load variation.

The objective of this paper is to integrate the wavelet transform (WT), Hilbert transform (HT) and extreme learning machine (ELM) for the purpose of classifying power quality (PQ) event signals. Non-stationary power quality event signals are appraised as the superimposition of various oscillating modes, and WT is used to distant out the decomposition and approximation coefficients. In this approach, the distinctive features of PQ event signals have been acquired by applying the HT on all the decomposed levels and in order to analysis the performance of the proposed method on noisy conditions, three types of PQ event data sets are constructed by accumulating noise of 25, 35 and 45 dB. ELM is an efficient learning algorithm for generalized single hidden layer feedforward networks (SLFNs), which is implemented to recognizing the various PQEs. Based on very high performance under ideal and noisy conditions, the proposed WHT-ELM method has robust recognition structure that can be used in real power systems.

Social networking sites have become a major factor of the Web and are playing an important role in the life of human being. People communicate with each other through social networking services (SNSs). Unfortunately, the Blogosphere has been infected by different forms of spam-like contents. The rise of social networking sites made them the targets of spammers as they lead the users to be fed up with irrelevant information while surfing. During early days, researchers were concentrating on the development of Honey pots for detecting spams. Twitter is a target platform for promoters and spammers. The authors survey the related literature that identifies the presence of spam as well as spammers in popular social media networks.
