Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are strongly integrated in the life of contemporary society and their impact on educational processes has motivated several studies, in view of the importance of reflecting on the relationship between technologies, curriculum and teacher training. Following this demand, this study has as main objective to investigate the technologies in the Visual Arts Degree Course at Instituto de Educacao, Ciencia e Tecnologia do Maranhao (IFMA), aiming at identifying the approach of this theme based on the curricular design of the Course. The results obtained indicate that the technologies are approached in certain disciplines as instruments of contemporary artistic production, and, in others, as tools of pedagogical mediation. The methodology adopted consisted of mapping the pedagogical project of the course, in light of the documents and legal provisions that conduct the Degree in Visual Arts in Brazil, supporting the discussion with basis on conceptions of theorists such as Levy (1993), Pimentel (2011), among others.

This article consists of clippings of investigative trips carried out in the field of Culture, Identity and Language studies. The method used to construct the data was Netnography, in which I found routes to navigate the vast and deeply complex seas of the social networks of a group of deaf people, in order to seek understanding the processes of sociality and the constitution of the subjectivities of the participants and their cultures. It started with the understanding of the potentialities of images in building conversations, reflections and interpretations of the realities of deaf experiences. The images were understood here not as a mere pictorial support for appreciation, but as polysemic phenomena participating in the processes of construction of social meanings and identities .

This paper presents the thoughts around an academic research entitled pedagogical landscapes , developed between the years 2016 and 2020 at Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC). The research investigated the pedagogical practices and their developments among Visual Arts teachers in the region of Florianopolis (SC). The potency of artistic and pedagogical practices permeates the present writing, as it amplifies the uncertainties and anxieties experienced by the teachers in this area which, despite the countless advances, is still understood as a mere activity in which actions have no function for the lives of the students and of people in general. Cartography, as a research method that finds its clues as it advances, reveals the concerns, desires and motivations of a teaching experience that triggers affections, as it draws intersubjective lines.

This article problematizes the body images that were published in the Junior magazine (2007-2015) during the period of its circulation in Brazil. Initially, body images are approached in the magazine, articulating with the field of visual culture. Then, the question of images of the middle class body addressed to readers is problematized, dialoguing, above all, with the theory of addressing modes studied by Elisabeth Ellsworth (2001). To this end, the magazine was explored as a document in which the 66 published editions were analyzed, with the focus of investigation on images that said of the ways of being a man, young and homosexual. From such research it was possible to problematize the potential of images in Junior magazine and their educational character, leading us to think about the uses we make of images, how they affect and subject us, how they enter our lives and how we relate to them.

During the Third Reich (1933-1945), Nazi intellectuals conceived the music and the plastic arts as elements that form moral values, which can corrupt education and compromise political and social life. From the theoretical formulation of a totalitarian aesthetic, every art considered "degenerate" was censored and exposed as an example of immorality. Inaugurated in 1937, the exhibitions Entartete Kunst (Degenerate Art) and Entartete Musik (Degenerate Music) brought to the city of Munich works related to modernism, Bolshevism, as well as the artistic production of black people, Jews and Soviets. Based on a bibliographic research supported by the Critical Theory of Society, this article analyzes the content of those exhibitions, demonstrating the pedagogical role of art in the formation of the moral values of German society from the perspective of Nazi intellectuals.
