Most firms have great interest in their innovations, but they have no interest in the patterns of innovation. In particular, firms using the benchmarking method have a tendency to use the same method, which is very dangerous for management. Analyzing the innovation pattern is more important than to benchmark the leading company, because of the differences in the situation of all companies, such as an environment, competition, market, etc. This paper used the Grew & Scott`s model, in which each firm has a different innovation pattern for valuable management performance. This study examined the characteristics of the hourly demand of city gas in Korea and proposed multiple regression models to obtain precise estimates of the hourly demand of city gas. Forecasting the hourly demand of city gas with accuracy is essential in terms of safety and cost. If underestimated, the pipeline pressure needs to be increased sharply to meet the demand, when safety matters. In the opposite case, unnecessary inventory and operation costs are incurred. Data analysis showed that the hourly demand of city gas has a very high autocorrelation and that the 24-hour demand pattern of a day follows the previous 24-hour demand pattern of the same day. That is, there is a weekly cycle pattern. In addition, some conditions that temperature affects the hourly demand level were found. That is, the absolute value of the correlation coefficient between the hourly demand and temperature is about 0.853 on average, while the absolute value of the correlation coefficient on a specific day improves to 0.861 at worst and 0.965 at best. Based on this analysis, this paper proposes a multiple regression model incorporating the hourly demand ahead of 24 hours and the hourly demand ahead of 168 hours, and another multiple regression model with temperature as an additional independent variable. To show the performance of the proposed models, computational experiments were carried out using real data of the domestic city gas demand from 2009 to 2013. The test results showed that the first regression model exhibits a forecasting accuracy of MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) around 4.5% over the past five years from 2009 to 2013, while the second regression model exhibits 5.13% of MAPE for the same period.

This study examined the experience of long-term care workers who care for people with dementia at home. A descriptive exploratory methodology was applied within the qualitative research paradigm. The data were collected using individual in-depth interviews with 10 long-term care workers who had at least 3 years working experience caring for people with dementia. The data were analyzed within the qualitative content analysis. Job selection, struggling and strategies for the role accomplishment were found to be the main categories. This study emphasized the role of caring as social filial piety from the concept of nonpayment of work in the family.

본 연구의 목적은 대퇴부골절로 수술 후 섬망 발생군과 섬망이 발생하지 않은 군을 비교하여 수술 후 섬망 발생이 임상 예후에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 섬망의 위험요인을 규명하기 위한 후향적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2010년 7월 1일부터 2014년 1월 31일까지 대퇴부골절로 일 대학병원에서 수술한 65세이상 노인환자 68명의 의무기록지를 3년간 추적조사하였다. 연구결과 섬망발생군은 31명(45.6%), 섬망이 발생하지 않은 군이 37명(54.4%)이었으며, 섬망이 발생한 환자의 평균나이는 80.8세, 섬망이 발생하지 않은 군은 81.8세로 대부분 여성이었으며, 통계학적 유의성은 없었다. 섬망유무에 따른 특성은 5종류 이상의 약물복용, 혈중 크레아티닌 수치, 총 의료비용이 섬망 발생군과 섬망이 발생하지 않은 군에 따른 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 대퇴부 수술 후 주요 임상경과 발생에 예측요인을 확인하기 위해 Cox의 비례위험 모형(Cox's proportional hazard regression model)을 이용한 결과, 섬망, 5가지이상의 다중약물복용, 수혈경험이 유의한 예측요인으로 나타났다. 따라서, 대퇴부 수술 후 노인의 섬망발생은 환자와 보호자에게 부정적인 결과를 초래할 수 있으므로, 수술 전 섬망과 관련된 위험인자에 대한 평가 및 처치를 시행해야 한다. 【This study was a retrospective examination to identify the association of postoperative delirium of the prognosis on following femur fracture surgery in elderly patients. Data was collected from the medical records of elderly patients (aged 65 years or older), who underwent femur fracture surgery from July 2010 to January 2014, following on 3-years in one university hospital. A total of 68 patients were involved. There were 31 cases (45.6%) with delirium and 37 cases (54.4%) without delirium. The participant's average age was 80.8 (patients with delirium), and 81.8 (delirium without patients) years of age, respectively, and most of them were female. There was no significant difference between the two groups. Taking five or more medications, serum creatinine level, and the total medical costs were significantly different in the delirium group and non-delirium group. In addition, the proportional hazard model of Cox to determine the predictors for the major clinical outcome occurring after surgery revealed delirium, five or more multi-drug use, and an experience of transfusion to be significant predictors. In conclusion, postoperative delirium in the elderly undergoing femur fracture surgery can have a negative clinical outcome in patients and caregivers. Therefore, a preoperative evaluation and management of the risk factors will be necessary.】

The aim of this study was to identify the female nurses' perception of the types and characteristics of male nurses using Q-methodology, which can explore human subjectivity. The 35 selected Q-statements from each of 35 subjects were classified into a normal distribution using a 9 point scale. The collected data was analyzed using the PC-QUANL program. Principal Component Analysis identified 3 types of perception toward male nurses. Type 1 was classified as 'development-oriented support type', Type 2 was classified as 'realistic critical type', and Type 3 was classified as 'conservative acceptance type'. The consensus of opinion in each type was 'Male nurses are under stress due to the unique characteristics of a female-dominated workplace'. These results will contribute to the perception improvement of female nurses toward male nurses by developing arbitration programs based on the three types.

Numerical analyses were performed on the heat flow characteristics of a heat transfer plate with six different shapes (basic, rectangle, triangle, wave type) to reduce the level of white smoke at a stack. In this study, to examine the heat transfer performance (heat transfer capacity, pressure drop, turbulence kinetic energy, heat transfer coefficient) on the heat transfer plates, simulations were conducted using the commercial computational fluid dynamics software, ANSYS CFX Ver.14 under uniform flow conditions. The thermal flow phenomenon in a channel with six heat transfer plates could be predicted adequately under uniform flow conditions. The heat transfer capacity, pressure drop, turbulence kinetic energy, and heat transfer coefficient were affected by the flow rate, aspect ratio and plate shape. These results provide guidelines to design an effective heat exchanger with the wave type to reduce white smoke.

This study examined the nursing student's preliminary knowledge and awareness of patient's personal information protection. 187 respondents, who were trained in 2 different nursing colleges in Kyungpook province, participated in the survey from May 18 to June 12, 2015. Using the data collected, descriptive statistics, T-test and one-way ANOVA were implemented. As a result, the student nurses, who had heard about the Personal Information Protection Act showed a significantly higher awareness score of patient's personal information protection behavior than those who did not. The respondents educated in personal information protection were reported to have a higher score of awareness about the patient's personal information protection behavior. In this regard, it is vital for university organizers to develop education associated with ethics and information security, which could enhance the perceptions of personal information protection for student nurses before their working career begins.

Using the data collected, descriptive statistics, T-test and one-way ANOVA were implemented. As a result, the student nurses, who had heard about the Personal Information Protection Act showed a significantly higher awareness score of patient's personal information protection behavior than those who did not. The respondents educated in personal information protection were reported to have a higher score of awareness about the patient's personal information protection behavior. 본 논문에서는 노령화 사회에서 노인들의 기본 건강과 생활을 케어 할 수 있는 홈 웰니스 로봇 플랫폼을 개발한다. 실내 환경에서 웰니스 서비스에 초점을 맞추어 로봇 및 센서 플랫폼을 구현한다. 로봇플랫폼에서는 정밀제어 이동기능과 정교한 로봇 팔 및 핸드를 개발하고 인간친화형 로봇구조로 설계되어진다. 이동로봇은 옴니휠 기반의 쾌속 시스템으로 제어된다. 로봇팔은 섬세한 조작기능을 수행할 수 있도록 인간의 팔과 유사한 구조로 구현한다. 센서 플랫폼에서는 RF태그와 스테레오 카메라를 활용하여 로봇자신과 대상물체의 위치 인식시스템을 구축한다. 정확한 위치와 자세 인식을 위하여 센서 융합 알고리즘이 제안된다. 끝으로 웰니스 로봇 플랫폼의 좋은 성능들이 실시간 시험 구동을 통하여 확인되어 진다. 【This paper developed a home wellness robot platform to perform the roles in basic health care and life care in an aging society. A robotic platform and a sensory platform were implemented for an indoor wellness service. In the robotic platform, the precise mobility and the dexterous manipulation are not only developed in a symbiotic service-robot, but they also ensure the robot architecture of human friendliness. The mobile robot was made in the agile system, which consists of Omni-wheels. The manipulator was made in the anthropomorphic system to carry out dexterous handwork. In the sensing platform, RF tags and stereo camera were used for self and target localization. They were processed independently and cooperatively for accurate position and posture. The wellness robot platform was integrated in a real-time system. Finally, its good performance was confirmed through live indoor tests for health and life care.】

Abstract Silica is an essential material in the electronics industries of LCDs and OLEDs, which particularly requirehigh purity. This study attempted to find the optimal design of a magnetic separator for silica sand containing iron compounds using CFD simulation. Three designs of magnetic separation were prepared and their efficiency was examined. As a result of the evaluation, the sufficient contact of particulate silica with the surface of magnetic emitters improved the magnetic separation effects. In addition, the loss of SiO 2 and the removal rate of Fe 2 O 3 depended stronglyon the particle size, flow rate and magnetic flux density. In addition, magnetic separation is quite effective for a particlesize of 10 ㎛ with a 0.2 m/s flow rate.
