This paper proposes a novel implementation of Ternary Decoder using CMOS DPL (Double Pass Logic) Binary logic gates, in digital CMOS technology. The physical design of the circuits is simulated and tested with Micro-Cap 10 SPICE simulator. The Proposed Ternary Decoder circuit can be used in VLSI design. The Proposed decoder circuit will be the basic circuit to create other Ternary Logic Circuits like Ternary Logic Gates, Ternary Memory, Adder, Multiplier, Multiplexer, and others. The simulation results demonstrate the merits of the approach in terms of reduced number of transistors by 25% compared to the existing ternary decoder.

Opinion mining applications work with a large number of opinion holders. This means a summary of opinions is important so we can easily interpret holders' opinions. The aim of this paper is to provide a feature-based summarization for Arabic reviews. In our work, a system is proposed using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, information extraction and sentiment lexicons. This provides users to access the opinions expressed in hundreds of reviews in a concise and useful manner. We start with extracting feature for a specific domain, assigned sentiment classification to each feature, and then summarized the reviews. We conducted a set of experiments to evaluate our system using data corpus from the hotel domain. The accuracy for opinion mining we calculated using objective evaluation was 71.22%. We, also, applied subjective evaluation for the summary generation and it indicated that our system achieved a relevant measure of 73.23 % accuracy for positive summary and 72.46% accuracy for a negative summary.

System of systems is a concept describing a large scale system consisting of component systems that are spread across multiple hierarchical levels where for each level, a component system can have multiple structures. Establishing an engineering model for system of systems is essential for representing operational and managerial independence of component systems and their interactions leading to emergent and evolutionary development of system of systems with enhanced composite capabilities. This article contributes to system of systems modeling of physical component systems and organizational component systems. We propose a data-centric model for supervision of system of systems. A concrete example is discussed composed of two cooperating component systems, an unmanned aerial vehicle and an intelligent autonomous road vehicle, in which the unmanned aerial vehicle acts as an external global positioning system sensor that supplies redundant navigation information to the intelligent autonomous road vehicle, to be able to safely maneuver in a confined space.

For the contemporary enterprise, Business-IT strategic alignment is instrumental for the business advantage. The evaluation of this alignment is important for continuous improvement at the infra-structure levels of business and IT, which is enhanced if the enterprise information architecture has a complete knowledge of business processes, their orchestration and models. This paper presents metrics for assessing the basic BPA-EIA alignment at the lowest architectural levels obtained through BPAOntoEIA framework, which employs a design science approach to derive a semantic EIA from a semantic object- based BPA approach. The basic assessment metrics are defined for derivation of EIA entities. Their values have been stated for a cancer care case-study showing a promising degree of BPA-EIA alignment. The framework is expected to provide a high degree of alignment for other EIA elements when derived from the associated business orocess architecture.

Graphs are ubiquitous and allow us to model entities and the relationships between them. Graph data is often observed directly in the natural world (e.g., telecommunication or social networks), and the success of many machine learning tasks such as classification, link prediction, and many others, depends mainly on learning a useful feature representation from graph. This study investigates several research studies that have been conducted in the field of graph representation learning. The growing attention in graph representation learning and graph embedding in recent years raise the need for comparing the existing methods in terms of methodology and techniques. This paper summarizes the recent techniques and methods used for graph representation learning, and compare them together.

Semantic representation is increasingly used in today's works. With interoperability issues between different constituent systems in the Systems of Systems (SoS) arrangement, it is necessary to have a common vocabulary between heterogenetic systems to avoid interoperability- related problems that degrade the quality of services of the SoS. In this paper, we introduce an ontological model to represent the quality requirements of the SoS. The quality requirements ontology can enable not only describing quality properties and their relations in detail but also supporting consensus on quality requirements concepts and helping to assess the degree that the Constituent System (CS) can support the SoS incorporating.

Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a gathering of wireless mobile nodes that communicate with each other using wireless links (Bluetooth, hotspots … etc.), and without any infrastructure or centralized control. One of the prominent proactive routing protocols in MANET called Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) uses the concept of Multipoint relays (MPR) to avoid unnecessary transmissions of Link State messages. It also decreases the overhead in the network. However, the major problem in OLSR is when a specific node loses any of its neighbors it will execute MPR continuously, which leads to broadcasting of the Topology Control (TC) message. In this paper, we propose two new methods called Backup MPR and Routing Table Mechanisms that minimize the number of execution of MPR in order to reduce the congestion of control messages in OLSR. The obtained results have shown that the packet delivery ratio and the throughput have increased, and consequently the ratio of the overhead has decreased.

Until recently, many studies have been achieved for the sake of automatically segmentation of the electrohysterogram (EHG) in order to identify the efficient uterine contractions but the most of them encountered the presence of other events such as motion artifacts and other kind of contractions despite of the use of efficient filtering methods. In this study, we apply an online method which is developed previously and known by Dynamic Cumulative Sum (DCS) on monopolar EHG signals acquired through a 4×4 electrodes matrix with and without CCA-EMD denoising method. The detected segments are driven through an automatic concatenation technique of detected event time from all channels in order to reduce the unwanted segments, the obtained segments then undergo to implemented Margin validation test in order to classify among them. Sensitivity of detected contractions and other detected events rate referring to identified contractions by expert have been calculated in order to track the efficiency of the fully automated multichannel segmentation method. Additional EHG filtering techniques like CCA-EMD method seems to be better but effective time cost. Further studies should be achieved in order to decreasing the other events rate for the sake of fully identifying the uterine contractions.

Recently, The emergence of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) plays a major role in the rise of big data as thousands of their applications collect huge amounts of data that require processing. Consequently, WSN faces two major challenges. First, it handles the big data collection, and second, the energy of sensors will be depleted quickly due to the huge volume of data collection and transmission. Hence, current research has been focused on data classification as an efficient technique to reduce big data collection in WSNs thus enhancing their lifetime. This paper proposes a fast data clustering technique called FKmeans, i.e. Fast Kmeans, dedicated to periodic applications in WSNs. FKmeans consists of two stage algorithm and aims to enhance the time cost of distance calculation of traditional Kmeans algorithm thus, ensure fast data delivery to the sink node. The first stage, i.e. center selection stage, selects a small portion of datasets in order to find the best possible location of the centers. The second stage, i.e. cluster formation stage, uses the traditional Kmeans algorithm adopted to the Euclidean distance where the initial centers used are taken from the first stage. Our proposed technique is validated via simulations on real sensor data and comparison with the traditional Kmeans algorithm. The obtained results show the effectiveness of our technique in terms of improving the energy consumption and data delivery delay, without loss in data fidelity.

Semantic similarity between different texts is a challenging task. It measures the relation between texts, sentences and words to depict their degree of similarity or resemblance. Many of the Natural languages processing tasks and applications need measuring the text semantic similarity to achieve good results. Plagiarism detection, text entailment, text summarization, machine translation, and information extraction are among these applications. Therefore many Methods for measuring semantic similarity have been proposed for Arabic text which is reviewed and compared in this research.
