Artificial Bee Colony based design optimization of a six-phase induction motor 基于人工蜂群的六相感应电机设计优化

Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm (ABC) has been used to optimize the design of a six-phase induction motor (SPIM). Multi-objective function has been considered for optimization. Comparison of the optimum design using Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm with that of traditional design and Genetic Algorithm (GA) based optimum design has been presented, which shows that improved design can be achieved by Artificial Bee Colony technique of optimization. Comparison of the results obtained has been done to find the fittest method of optimization for the said purpose. Performances of the induction motor have been evaluated for each design effectively.
采用人工蜂群算法(ABC)对六相感应电动机(SPIM)进行优化设计。采用多目标函数进行优化。将人工蜂群算法的优化设计与传统设计和基于遗传算法的优化设计进行了比较,表明人工蜂群优化技术可以实现改进设计。并对所得结果进行了比较,以找出最适合的优化方法。对每一种设计都有效地评价了感应电机的性能。

A unified approach for identification and control of electro-magnetic levitation system in delta domain 一种统一的三角域电磁悬浮系统辨识与控制方法

This paper proposes a unified approach for identification and control of delta operator parameterized Electro-magnetic Levitation System (EMLS). Dynamic systems modelling with delta operator provide a unified framework in rapprochement between discrete-time dynamic models and its analog counterpart at fast sampling. Capitalizing this unique feature, the concept of time moment is recasted in delta operator formulation as delta time moment (DTM). These DTMs are then estimated from the input-output measurements taken from unknown plant to develop control law in an approximate model matching framework so that the compensated plant output follow a reference model output under an input excitation. The reference model is so parameterized in the complex delta domain that it embodies classical time, frequency and complex domain specifications and guarantee both stability and performance. Four different adaptive control law, i) Inverse control using DTM (ICDTM), ii) Pade Adapted Inverse control using DTM with error feedback (PICDTMEF), iii) Plant Delta Time Moment control scheme (PDTMC) and iv) Pade adapted Delta Time Moment control with error feedback (PDTMCEF) have been proposed to design control schemes for the EMLS. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Portable photoplethysmogram acquisition and analysis instrument 便携式光电容积图采集与分析仪器

On-site measurement of physiological information can provide a quick assessment of patients' health condition. The paper illustrates a simple PPG acquisition and preliminary level analysis instrument using a laptop. A portable data acquisition system based on ATmega16 microcontroller was developed to collect 30 sec PPG data at 250 Hz sampling using USB interface. Based on the data, all the fiducial points were detected using first and second difference PPG. The software computes the heart rate, peak to peak time, stiffness index and crest time averaged over all cardiac cycles and displays them on the front panel of the laptop.

Feature extraction and classification of woven fabric using optimized Haralick parameters: A rough set based approach 基于优化Haralick参数的机织织物特征提取与分类:基于粗糙集的方法

Classification of fabric samples into classes is highly required for automatic fabric inspection systems, as many of the fabric defects are defined relative to the fabric classes. The texture of the fabric surface is the best way to represent a fabric class, corresponding to which the statistical measures are the Haralick parameters. As all of the Haralick parameters are not responsible for fabric classification and there are no universal Haralick parameters for classifying all types of fabric samples, so it is necessary to determine a subset of Haralick parameters that gives best classification result for the fabric classes under consideration. This subset of Haralick parameters is termed as optimized Haralick parameters of the fabric classes under consideration, which has been determined by using the rough set theory. The developed system has been tested on TILDA database and its superiority with respect to the non-optimized Haralick parameters is established in terms of classification result and separability index.

Modeling and simulation of a novel three phase discrete observer based on recurrence formula 基于递推公式的新型三相离散观测器建模与仿真

Design and analysis of a novel three phase discrete observer is proposed in this paper. A rotation matrix based on recurrence formula along with observer feedback matrix set for a particular frequency is used to formulate a structure such that accurate estimation is obtained for the designed frequency. This observer is used to filter out the switching noise percolating into the control loop by providing ripple free feedback variables in d-q control. Also this helps in achieving faster transient response in current control. Simulation of decoupled current control of a stand-alone three phase Inverter is done to evaluate the performance and feasibility of the proposed observer.

FPGA friendly fault detection technique for drive fed induction motor 驱动型异步电动机的FPGA友好故障检测技术

FPGA based embedded system for continuous online monitoring has gained importance in recent years. The existing FPGA based methodologies rely on transient analysis, which unnecessarily gives undue stress to the motor. Also, FFT is used which consumes large resource in the hardware unit. In this paper a DWT based algorithm is designed and implemented in FPGA to detect Broken rotor bar fault using vibration signal at low loading condition at steady state. The main contribution of this work is considerable reduction of hardware resource by use of 2-length filter for DWT and RMS energy based decision block for fault detection. In addition, there is flexibility in extending the algorithm for multi-class fault detection by controlling the required frequency band of DWT.

A novel strategy for determination of optimal sizing of PV-wind hybrid system 一种确定PV-wind混合系统最优尺寸的新策略

A novel methodology for strategic selection of different components of PV-wind hybrid system is presented here. The optimal sizing determination is a key factor for pre-feasibility and feasibility analysis of hybrid system for any specific site. The capacity of battery, diesel generator (DG) and converter is determined with this novel approach ensuring a low cost reliable system with zero load rejection. Here, instead of taking maximum value of surplus or deficit energy or predefined rated components for obtaining size of battery, DG and converter, a random number between minimum and maximum values are considered as the criteria for selection. A detailed flow chart describing the approach and operational energy flow is presented. The system total net present cost (TNPC) and levelized unit electricity cost (LUEC) are obtained of the optimal configuration of hybrid system yielding system feasibility and approach adoptability.

Transient analysis of mechanically switched capacitors with and without damping network connected to A.C grid 机械开关电容器与交流电网连接时有无阻尼网络的暂态分析

Mechanically switched capacitors (MSC) are very well known reactive power compensation devices which are extensively in use in power transmission systems. However, during switching of MSC in a high voltage grid, significant transients are found to appear across the capacitor bank bus as well as different elements of MSC which may lead to insulation degradation affecting the long term performance of the capacitor banks. An improved version of the MSC is MSCDN where a damping network is employed with the capacitor banks to damp out the transient oscillations. However, during switching of a MSCDN plant significant transients are observed across its different elements. Considering the afore-said fact, in this contribution, a comparative study of transient behavior of mechanically switched capacitors with and without damping network is presented during switching in a 400 kV A.C grid. Transient simulations are performed on an exemplary MSC and MSCDN model using PSCAD/EMTDC software. It has been observed that there is a significant reduction in transient overvoltage and inrush current in switching a MSCDN plant when compared to a mere MSC switching. Moreover, the percentage reduction in transient overvoltage and inrush current during switching a MSCDN plant is found to depend on the design of damping network which may be important to analyze the transient behavior during switching in a high voltage A.C grid.

However, during switching of MSC in a high voltage grid, significant transients are found to appear across the capacitor bank bus as well as different elements of MSC which may lead to insulation degradation affecting the long term performance of the capacitor banks. An improved version of the MSC is MSCDN where a damping network is employed with the capacitor banks to damp out the transient oscillations. However, during switching of a MSCDN plant significant transients are observed across its different elements. Considering the afore-said fact, in this contribution, a comparative study of transient behavior of mechanically switched capacitors with and without damping network is presented during switching in a 400 kV A.C grid. Transient simulations are performed on an exemplary MSC and MSCDN model using PSCAD/EMTDC software. It has been observed that there is a significant reduction in transient overvoltage and inrush current in switching a MSCDN plant when compared to a mere MSC switching. A study on wide-area controller design for inter-area oscillation damping 区域间振荡阻尼广域控制器设计研究

In a modern power system, damping of an inter-area mode is crucial as it limits the power transfer capability. With the progress in Wide-Area Measurement System (WAMS), now dynamic data from wide geographical areas are available readily. The accuracy of such data motivates to be used as feedback for controllers, which can have better performance. The placement of such controllers and the signals to be considered as feedback with the redundancy, such that action will be effective is an interesting idea to deal. The paper deals with the issue of wide-area loop selection in a detailed manner. The selection considers not only being strongly controllable/observable but also the interaction and robustness issue. A static controller performance is compared with dynamic controllers (Lead-Lag compensator, PI Controller, Multi-Objective Controller). The controllers are synthesized so as to minimize the H∞ norm. The designed controllers are validated through a four machine case study.

A novel technique for optimal PMU placement with effects on dynamic state estimation 一种影响动态估计的PMU最优放置方法

In this paper a new priority based elimination technique (PBET) has been presented to obtain minimum number of phasor measurement unit (PMU) in power system network for full system observability and based on optimal PMU location state estimation (SE) has been done. Power system network should completely observable hence it's required to have all bus data in real time. It is not neither necessary to have PMUs at each buses in network nor economical. The proposed method is based on simple algorithm without having any cost function. Four steps procedure has been discussed in detailed for IEEE-14, IEEE-24 and IEEE-30 bus system and results are compared with other techniques. State estimation has been discussed for IEEE-14 bus system and normalized errors are obtained with optimally placed PMU and other configuration of PMU. Results show that PBET is compatible with other techniques of PMU placement.
