Development for Life Assessment System for Pipes of Thermal Power Plants 火电厂管道寿命评估系统的开发

The high-temperature steam pipes of thermal power plants are subjected to severe conditions such as creep and fatigue due to the power plant frequently being started up and shut down. To prevent critical pipes from serious damage and possible failure, inspection methods such as computational analysis and online piping displacement monitoring have been developed. However, these methods are limited in that they cannot determine the life consumption rate of a critical pipe precisely. Therefore, we set out to develop a life assessment system, based on a three-dimensional piping displacement monitoring system, which is capable of evaluating the life consumption rate of a critical pipe. This system was installed at the “M” thermal power plant in Malaysia, and was shown to operate well in practice. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the increase safety of piping systems by minimizing stress and extending the actual life of critical piping.

Corrosion Monitoring for Offshore Wind Farm's Substructures by using Electrochemical Noise Sensors 基于电化学噪声传感器的海上风电场子结构腐蚀监测

Electrochemical noise(EN) has been used to analyze the deterioration of coating films of offshore wind substructures. In this study, prototype sensors using EN have been developed to detect the corrosion rate. To verify the reliability of sensors, experiments were conducted both in the laboratory and offshore using probe and standard samples. New analysis and data processing techniques show that the sensor can provide useful information about the corrosion rate.

Technical Feasibility Study on the Biomimetic Drone for Inspection of Electric Power Lines 电力线路巡检仿生无人机技术可行性研究

Live-line maintenance for electric power lines is very dangerous because of their ultra-high voltage environments and the risks of falling from heights. Recently, drone technology has been spotlighted due to its maneuverability and stable controllability, and has been being applied to maintenance works in the electric power industry. This paper presents a new type of drone that can be transformable by introducing biomimetics to its mechanism and can run on an overhead ground wire as well as it can fly. Its technical feasibility was confirmed through experiments.

Soil Ionization Phenomena around a Hemispherical Electrode Stressed by Impulse Voltages 受冲击电压影响的半球形电极周围土壤电离现象

The electrical characteristics of the soil where a ground electrode is buried vary with regions, seasons and environmental factors. Electrical discharge in the vicinity of the ground electrode will occur differently and significantly affect the performance of the grounding system. It is necessary to analyze discharge and ionization characteristics of soils when the grounding system is designed. The aims of this investigation are to understand correlation between the soil ionization and the transient ground impedance. This paper presents the experimental results on the soil ionization parameters and the transient ground resistance due to the soil ionization around a hemispherical ground electrode stressed by lightning impulse voltages.

Nonlinear Structure-Soil Interaction Analysis for the Suction Bucket Foundation of Offshore Wind-Turbine 海上风力发电机组吸力桶基础非线性结构-土相互作用分析

As we are facing the shortage of oil energy, studies on renewable energy, wind energy research has been naturally getting attention. Among wind energies, ocean wind energy is relatively abundant compared to land wind energy and therefore, is getting much attention in terms of its efficiency. However, the problem is the cost. Generally, the cost ratio of the supporting structure is over 25% of the total installation cost of a offshore wind turbine system. Thus, it is very important to reduce the total installation cost of the offshore wind turbine and develop accurate analysis methodology for various offshore wind turbine foundations. In this study, nonlinear structure-soil interaction analyses have been proposed and conducted for the typical suction bucket model of an offshore wind turbine foundation,

In order to install the floating transport type wind-turbine foundation, water pumping is used to sink the foundation.
