Utilization of Conjoint Analysis in Understanding Consumer Preferences for Footwear 联合分析在了解消费者鞋类偏好中的应用

This study was carried out to analyze the importance of using consumer preferences while stocking footwear by the retailer. Consumer stated preference data was collected in five footwear retail stores. A saturated sampling method was followed. A total of 425 data was collected. The collected consumer preference data was analyzed using conjoint analysis. This resulted in the importance score and utility score for various features of footwear. These scores are useful in estimating the consumer preferences in footwear. The results are estimated using a maximum utility model. The footwear retailers can make use these results in forecasting and stocking decisions for footwear.

Cultures diversity represents the unique mindset and structure of human life. Various customs, traditions social dogmas and livelihoods trends weave the pattern of human activities. Kafiristan is one of such community that lays in valleys of Kalash in Chitral district in northern Pakistan. The inhabitants of Kalash valley practice their own peculiar religion, customs and that are reflected through their art of making traditional costumes, weaving Crafts and wood sculptures. All features of their traditions art making and customs are incomplete without each other. There is still a constant resistance against any social change and the inhabitants are trying to maintain and preserve their indigenous cultural identity. This paper is based on qualitative analysis with focuses on exploration of the distinct and intertwined features of making and using traditional costumes, weaving crafts and wood sculptures as cultural identity of the Kalash.

Off-loom Weaving: An Innovative and Sustainable Approach of Handicraft Development 织机外编织:手工艺发展的创新和可持续途径

Designing and development of textiles is significantly affected by many factors such as fibers composition, yarn density, fabric construction and the weave design. The on-loom weaving of geometric models, complex constructions and exceptionally large repeat patterns is very common practice today. This paper has used an off-loom technique, an innovative and sustainable approach to weave large repeat angular calligraphic patterns by using wood frame, recovered knitted polyester net and woolen thread; further make it value added development with the support of domestic handcraft installations. This technique does not need much financing and sophisticated technology. Hence, it is predicted that this approach will provide the greater opportunity of self-entrepreneurship for textile designers and craft-workers.

The principles and concepts concerning creation and curation of optimal design for the fast fashion business model are reviewed and discussed briefly. The data-driven, consumer-centric characteristics of these concepts are emphasized and the design process flowcharts for some key examples of related current and popular methodologies are presented and analyzed.

Revamping Fashion E-Commerce in India using Artificial Intelligence 利用人工智能改造印度的时尚电子商务

The research is about methods and lucrative ideas to remodel the various fashion E-commerce platforms with the help of Artificial Intelligence. The advent of technology in E-commerce has brought the concept of Artificial Intelligence upfront. It is subsequently notable that in India, introduction, and usage of AI tools in fashion E-commerce is very limited and people are not aware of the perks of the same. The problem that was associated to the research was the general awareness about the AI tools used in E-commerce applications. But beside that, people had several other problems that dealt with customer satisfaction levels. We conducted a survey and the responses collected were used to study the general patterns of concerns of the customers or the users. The assumptions were made concrete after analysis solely based on the findings. The secondary research added to helping tackle these issues faced by the customers in the most efficient manner possible. Hence extending the potential of Artificial intelligence in the field of E-commerce for Fashion sector.

Antibacterial Efficiency of Croton Bonplandianum Plant Extract Treated Cotton Fabric 巴豆植物提取物处理棉织物的抑菌效果

Croton bonplandianum ( C . bonplandianum ) is a monoecious exotic weed belonging to the euphorbiaceae family, is grown unwantedly at a large scale in the cultivation land of eastern India, along with the main crop. In this present work, sap from the C . bonplandianum plant is extracted through aqueous extraction method, which is further applied on a cotton fabric through pad-dry-cure method. The fabric obtained immediately after the treatment and from different stages of washing are then evaluated for their anti-bacterial activity against both the gram +ve and gram –ve pathogenic strains. It is observed that C bonplandianum sap and treated cotton fabric exhibit very promising results against both the gram +ve and gram –ve bacteria and it retains its properties even after five washes.

Designing on the Edge of Fashion and Architecture 时尚与建筑边缘的设计

The following paper introduces the interdisciplinary approach to the work and connection between adjacent design areas. It highlights the migratory nature of design methods and technologies introducing as a case study the design method for double curved soft shells. Current work discusses problematics of designing such shells, considers the use of spacer fabrics unveiling its peculiar properties, and describes the work of the developed system. In addition, it states the specific rules and guidelines for form-finding of double curved shells made by spacer fabric or analogue material and represents available instruments of its design implementation.

Antimicrobial Finishing of Organic Cotton Textiles with Extract of Tanners cassia flowers for Skin Care Applications 皮肤护理用鞣革决明花提取物有机棉织物的抗菌整理

Background: Skin care is still a challenge for the Pharmaceutical and hospital concerns, in spite of being more advanced nowadays. The purposeful necessities of skin care textiles have led to the pioneering use of diversity of natural plants with therapeutic properties for medical applications. The Tanners cassia flowers are one of the exceptionally important natural plant available in all areas with abundant germ-free properties. Methods: In this present investigate work the Tanners cassia flowers were collected and extracted and it was coated on organic cotton fabric. Results: The extract was tested under qualitative antimicrobial phytochemical screening and the test results revealed the presence of antimicrobial constituents. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of Tanners cassia flowers ethanolic 5% and 10% concentrated extracts were analyzed using standard AATCC 147and AATCC 100 tests against both gram positive and gram-negative bacterial pathogens staphylococcus aureus , klebsiella pneumoniae , pseudomonas auruginosa , escherichia coli and aspergillus nigar fungi . The extract was tested under qualitative phytochemical screening, the results expressed the occurrence of major phytochemicals. Conclusion: The activity test result also shows that the Tanners cassia treated samples has superior antibacterial and antifungal activity by zone of inhibition and it can be more apt for healthcare textiles.

The Tanners cassia flowers are one of the exceptionally important natural plant available in all areas with abundant germ-free properties. Methods: In this present investigate work the Tanners cassia flowers were collected and extracted and it was coated on organic cotton fabric. Results: The extract was tested under qualitative antimicrobial phytochemical screening and the test results revealed the presence of antimicrobial constituents. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of Tanners cassia flowers ethanolic 5% and 10% concentrated extracts were analyzed using standard AATCC 147and AATCC 100 tests against both gram positive and gram-negative bacterial pathogens staphylococcus aureus , klebsiella pneumoniae , pseudomonas auruginosa , escherichia coli and aspergillus nigar fungi . The extract was tested under qualitative phytochemical screening, the results expressed the occurrence of major phytochemicals.
