The objective was to analyze the influence of the adoption of green technologies on environmental responsibility practices from the perspective of workers. For this purpose, a survey was applied to 385 workers of 74 hotels in Mexico City. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was used for data processing. The results show that environmental responsibility practices are supported by the adoption of green technologies according to the cost structure, resource savings, and the benefits they offer. The value of the work lies in exposing the perspective of workers as internal stakeholders of the companies.

The aim of the article is to explore organizational innovation capability variables that could have an impact on performance in business to business (B2B) context. This work used systematic analysis of the literature supported through bibliometric analysis indicating the following organizational innovative capabilities: innovation strategy and management projects, collaborative networks and market orientation. The authors propose an explanatory model and provide empirical evidence from B2B sector in Chile, surveying 242 senior executives. The best position was the mining sector. However, all the sectors studied need more emphasis on market orientation, value co-creation and innovation to obtain better and more sustainable results.

This article analyzes the complexity of the linkages between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and firm performance in Morocco and to decompose this complexity through a bidirectional sense of causality. Using data surveyed from 74 Moroccan listed firms, we conduct an econometric modeling to measure this relationship bilaterally and to investigate the underlying factors behind this association. The empirical study proves the existence of a positive association between CSR and firm performance in both directions in the Moroccan context and suggests that the more social enterprises are, the more they achieve better financial results. The mutual linkage between social and financial aspects allows us to draw some managerial implications and set up further research directions.

This study aims to analyze the socio-environmental conflicts derived from extractive activities in Latin America and the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the extractive sector. The first stage included bibliometrics by authors and countries found in the scientific literature, leading to 69 publications selected for the term 2012-2017; later on, a systematic review of the literature was conducted in SCOPUS and Web of Science, starting from the recollection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of information. The results highlight three types of conflicts: environmental impact, turf wars, and the violation of human rights; these reveal that the relationships between the extractive sector and CRS should be mediated by a balance of interests and the preservation of ecosystems.

This study aimed to explore the influence of work engagement and trust in tacit knowledge transfer. A model that suggests a relationship between these variables is proposed. A study of mixed methodology was carried out in a public transport company in Madeira Island, Portugal. A questionnaire to a sample of 202 workers was applied and 7 semi-structured interviews were conducted. The results confirm the facilitating role of work engagement in tacit knowledge transfer and that trust has a relevant mediating role in this relationship. Organizations that want to increase the sharing of tacit knowledge must promote an environment of trust and take care of the engagement of their workers.

This research aims to analyze the relationship between economic, social and digital performance in cities of different sizes in Brazil. Data provided by the following official agencies: National Treasury Secretariat, National Mayors' Front and Risk Classification Agency were used. Pearson's correlation was used to identify the influence of digital, social, and economic performance variables in cities divided into groups based on the number of inhabitants. There was a strong correlation between Communication and Information Technologies and social and economic aspects. The greater the needs of cities, the more intense is the use of Communication and Information Technologies, reinforcing the establishment of the perspective of smart cities.

Opinion leader recommendations (OL’ eWOM) and Online Consumer Reviews (OCR) are the two most important ways to know about new brands on the Internet. This research analyzed which source provides more credible information: OL' eWOM or OCR. A sample of 146 university students was randomly divided into three groups (OL, OCR, Control Group) in an online experiment field. A Nonparametric Analysis of Variance (N par Test) with the Omnibus Kruskal-Wallis Test was conducted between groups with OL' eWOM, OCR, and CG. The results evidenced that OCRs are a more useful source of information than OL’ eWOM and when the consumer shopping experience was included, this influence is even stronger. As more online shopping experience a consumer has, the less they are influenced by OLs.
