Transformation of city blocks in Kemerovo from 1918 until the present 1918年至今克麦罗沃城市街区的改造

Purpose: The aim of this work is evaluation of changes in city blocks in Kemerovo starting from its foundation until the present. The time intervals are chosen with stageby-stage elaboration of the city overall plans.Methodology: Interdisciplinary approach to studying the architecture and planning in Kemerovo. The historical method is used to consider the architecture and planning development during the evolution of temporal and spatial boundaries. The comparative analysis allows highlighting the main periods in the city block construction, design and planning solutions.Research findings: Summary tables and drawings are developed in this work. Factors affecting the city block construction are determined herein as well as development stages of the urban environment, and future development and adaptation of city blocks in Kemerovo.Practical implications: The obtained results can be used to study planning of historical cities, carry out renovation projects of historical places in Kemerovo, preserve historical culture of the city.

Development of micromobility infrastructure in Kazan 喀山微型交通基础设施建设

The dramatic growth in personal mobility devices, especially in large cities, determines inadequacy of transport and pedestrian infrastructure. In this regard, it is necessary to develop the urban planning policy for a complete integration of a new type of mobility in the traffic system in urbanized territories.Purpose: The development of urban planning recommendations for the formation of micromobility infrastructure for Kazan and the project implementation for the city development.Research findings: All-round analysis of urban planning conditions to determine the formation of the micromobility infrastructure in the city. Determination of the structural organization of the micromobility network in urban planning zones in Kazan.Value: The urban planning recommendations are given for the development of the micromobility infrastructure in Kazan. Boundaries and dislocation of the micromobility network are identified for the city. Planning and infrastructure formation techniques are proposed herein.

Intelligent model for automated identification of architectural style 用于建筑风格自动识别的智能模型

The growing interest to the digital development of the society stipulate studies of its history described by the artifacts of structures of past generations. Since each epoch has its own characteristics, architectural ideas inextricably linking certain years to the architectural style of buildings, have changed.Purpose: The aim of this work is the software development for the identification the architectural style of architectural a building.Research findings: For anyone interested in history, regardless of their gender and age, it is sometimes not enough to read historical books in order to determine the architectural style of a building. The artificial intelligence model is proposed to fill this gap.Practical implications: The proposed model can be used to supplement the practical experience in the field.

Purpose: Studying multifunctional public buildings for leisure to develop a student hub in Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB).Methodology/approach: Comprehensive analysis and data systematization of the literature; creative synthesis to develop design solutions. The bright examples of clubs built in the 1920–30s by K. Melnikov, the famous Soviet architect, are analyzed to propose design principles for the leisure student hub in TSUAB.Research findings: Design principles of the student leisure center in TSUAB are proposed to meet the modern requirements for comfortable leisure for young people.Practical implications: Research results can be used in the preparation of conference reports, draft projects on actual design.Value: The literature review and proposed design principles.

Cognitive-behavioral urban planning: Criteria and principles of adaptive urban environment 认知行为城市规划:适应性城市环境的标准与原则

Purpose: The aim of the work is to identify the influence of the urban environment on psychological behavior of large groups of people with the subsequent evaluation of formation criteria and principles of the adaptive urban environment.Methodology: The analysis and systematization of Russian and foreign experience in the formation of the adaptive urban environment in architecture, urban planning, psychology, and sociology. Various types of human perception of the urban environment are studied. Based on sociological data, the percentage of people with different perception of space is determined.Research findings: In cognitive urban studies, cognitive-behavioral urban studies are determined. Various models of human perception of the urban environment are studied. Criteria for assessing the urban environment are developed, which identify adaptive and maladaptive elements of urban space. The selected criteria make it possible to predict a positive or negative impact on the development of urban spaces at the initial design stage. A thorough analysis of the territory development allows choosing the most effective of them to provide the formation of the adaptive urban environment affecting the human psyche.Practical implications: Research results can be used in theory and practice of architecture and urban planning and complement training programs for specialists. Formation criteria and principles of the adaptive urban environment can be included in the design of urban spaces at various levels. Research contributes to further actualization of the human-oriented approach in urban studies and can be integrated in the Human Ecology discipline.Originality/value: The paper proposes monitoring of adaptability of urban spaces according to the given criteria. The principles are developed to carry out a new design, reconstruction or renovation of urban areas. The environment created in this way can have a positive impact on the psychological state of a person.

Modification of conditions and properties of dispersed reinforcing fiber during construction and operation of asphalt concrete pavements 沥青混凝土路面施工和运行中分散增强纤维的条件和性能的改变

Purpose: Identification of deformation presence or absence, fiber destruction in manufacturing asphalt concrete mixes contain ning polymer fiber.Methodology: Initial dispersed reinforcing fiber made of thermoplastic fiber-forming polymer and mineral thread, fiber extracted from asphalt concrete, and fiber exposed to weather conditions are investigated using a weatherometer IP-1-3. Аn MIM-10 metallographic microscope is used for the metallographic analysis. The infrared spectrophotometer SPECORD M-80 is used for the material identification. Physicochemical tests of fiber are carried out in a certified laboratory "Khimvolokno".Research findings: Dispersed reinforcing fiber made of thermoplastic fiber-forming polymers show deformation in compacting the asphalt-concrete mix at impact points of mineral material grains. At the same time, mineral fiber used as a dispersed reinforcement is not subjected to such deformation. The fiber properties are not affected by natural and climatic factors. It is found that natural and climatic factors do not cause the fiber destruction in dispersed reinforcement. The properties of reinforcing fiber slightly change, which allows them to perform a reinforcing function throughout the established service life of asphalt concrete pavements. Indentation of mineral material grains into fiber made of thermoplastic polymers leads to fiber jamming by grains, that prevents them from being pulled out, that, in turn, increases strength and rheological properties of asphalt concrete.Value: The analysis of chemical fiber characteristics is requireв to satisfy the growing interest in dispersed reinforcement of asphalt concrete. The quality of polymer fiber used for reinforcement can be changed under the influence of external factors and affect the quality of road pavements.

Purpose: Reinforcement analysis of concrete roof frames of one-storey industrial frame building with respect to the detected corrosion of reinforcement and longitudinal cracks with the opening width of several millimeters in the concrete protective layer.Methodology: The analysis is performed by using the finite element modeling in the MicroFe software, the developed model of detected damages of the concrete structures, and design solution of the roof frame strengthening.Research findings: Rationale is given to the lower roof frame strengthening with polymer fiber using two analytical models, namely steel reinforced element and layer material element. The obtained results are then compared.

Arrangement of capillary barrier made of injected solution to prevent subgrade frost heaving 注入溶液制成毛细屏障的布置防止路基冻胀

The problem of road pavement deterioration due to the forces of frost heave on operating roads remains highly relevant for many regions of Russia.One of the effective methods for regulating the magnitude of frost heave in the roadbed of highways under unfavorable soil-climatic conditions is the installation of a capillary barrier. This method, using injection methods for soil transformation, has been previously justified by the authors based on field and laboratory research.However, for practical implementation of the proposed method, the key unresolved research tasks are the determination of the calculated depth of the capillary barrier within the roadbed and its optimal thickness.In this regard, the aim of the research is to provide a calculated justification for the boundaries of the capillary barrier made from injected solution to prevent frost heave in the roadbed.The methodological basis of the study includes theoretical research methods such as abstraction, analysis, and synthesis.The article formulates the condition for transitioning from an "open" freezing system to a "closed" system and proposes criteria for creating a capillary barrier. A solution is obtained to determine the maximum thickness of the capillary barrier, which depends on the properties of its material and the coefficient of moisture conductivity. The solution to the problem of locating the capillary barrier within the structure of the operating roadbed is presented, based on correlating the zone of intensive moisture transfer with the isotherms of temperatures in the freezing massif.

Rigidity of partially concreted steel beams and steelreinforced floors 部分混凝土钢梁和钢筋楼板的刚度

The use of steel-reinforced (composite) floor structures with partially concreted steel beams and prefabricated flooring elements is an effective solution in terms of reducing the material consumption and increasing the structural rigidity. The experimental results of partially concreted composite beams and beams as part of full-size ceilings are studied and analyzed herein. It is shown that the stiffness graph of simple steel-reinforced concrete beams of any shape can be divided into 3 stages: an initial stiffness drop, normal operation, and transition to the limit state with subsequent destruction. The boundaries of these stages are identified for each beam type. The stiffness of the combined cross-section of the partially concreted beam with the rod reinforcement is calculated using well-known formulas from regulatory documents. The element rigidity without rod reinforcement is determined with the decreasing coefficient. Tests of full-size ceilings with partially concreted beams and prefabricated floors confirm the possibility of using standard formulas for the stiffness calculation. However, the width of the compressed concrete flange should be taken into account by less than 3 times than for monolithic slab. The destruction of bending composite structure is accompanied by plastic deformation in flanges of I-beam, destruction of compressed concrete and steel–concrete interaction. However, it does not lead to zeroing of its rigidity. When residual stiffness reaches the ultimate strength state, it is at least 60–70 % of its normative value. This rigidity can be used for the progressive collapse analysis of buildings.
