The main purpose of the study is to explore the factors of employee happiness through an extensive literature survey. The study has used a review-based descriptive method and it has scrutinised approximately 100 research papers to find the prominent factors of employee happiness. In order to get more accurate results, focused group interviews (FGD's) and semi-structured interviews are conducted in the education industry to validate the obtained results. The results of the study reveal several factors that influence employee happiness and are critical for both employees and organisations. The findings indicate factors such as work environment, work-life balance, leadership, reward and recognition, etc., are the top factors that influence employee happiness. Further, the study also explains the managerial implications of these factors. Organisations can utilise these factors to make their employees happy and satisfied that may eventually enhance their stay in the organisation.

The study aims to explore the awareness of various investment products and evaluate the effect of demographic and socio-economic factors on the awareness of investment products among government employees in Haryana, India. Primary data have been collected from 394 government employees with the help of a self-structured questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis has been used to extract the dimensions of investment product awareness. One-way ANOVA and t-test have been used to identify the influence of demographic and socio-economic factors on investment product awareness. Exploratory factor analysis extracted eight dimensions of investment product awareness. The result showed that age significantly influences the awareness of all investment products except for balance growth products. However, education has a significant effect only on the awareness of risk-averse products. The awareness level of employees covered under different pension schemes is significantly different in risk-averse products, specific purpose products, and NPS.

Microfinance has drawn major attention after being successful in providing financial services to poor underprivileged people globally. Microfinance is an institute that provides financial services as well as business development training to its beneficiaries. This paper is an attempt to investigate the nature of the relationship between the amount of loan size provided by microfinance institutes and its effect on the standard of living, health and education of its beneficiaries. An ex-post-facto design was implemented to analyse whether the size of loan amount predicts the above three dimensions of poverty. Analysis of variance has been done to analyse the significance of the number of years joined the microfinance program. The findings revealed a positive impact on the above three dimensions of poverty. We believe our grassroot research can benefit different government policies of poverty alleviation, non-government organisations and pro-poor microfinance organisations.
