The aim of this paper is to reflect on the evaluation, follow-up, and psychological support of morbidly obese patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. We have carried out a bibliographic review of the current situation on this subject and we present our monitoring model, defining the variables that it is necessary to evaluate and the areas in which these patients need support. The number of publications on these aspects is increasing, and there is growing evidence of the emergence of an eating pathology after bariatric surgery, which hinders the expected weight loss. Finally, this work attempts to justify the importance of the follow-up of these patients after surgery, beyond limiting ourselves to presurgical selection and preparation, as well as the need to adapt diagnostic criteria and evaluation instruments to this specific population.

Una de sus consecuencias mas visibles en la peninsula iberica son las inundaciones, cuya frecuencia e impacto social y economico han aumentado en las ultimas decadas. Ello ha llevado a un cambio de paradigma en la gestion del riesgo de inundacion en el que la dimension social adquiere mayor relevancia. En este trabajo se revisan los desarrollos teoricos y empiricos sobre los principales procesos psicologicos relacionados con el riesgo de inundacion, enfatizando las aportaciones realizadas desde la Psicologia Ambiental, con un objetivo doble. Por un lado, construir un marco conceptual apropiado para el analisis de este riesgo y, por otro, dotar a los profesionales de los recursos practicos necesarios para hacer frente a problemas que requieran de una intervencion psicosocioambienta EnglishClimate change requires the designing of strategies that mitigate the damage to people’s daily life. espanolHasta fechas muy recientes, el estudio de las creencias y actitudes ambientales se ha centrado en muestras de participantes adultos. Sin embargo, conocer el nivel de conciencia ambiental infantil es relevante, ya que facilitara que las generaciones futuras asuman las exigencias de la proambientalidad. Este trabajo destaca la importancia de las experiencias ambientales en la infancia para asumir valores y creencias proambientales. Se ofrecen datos sobre el nivel de conciencia ecologica de muestras infantiles en Espana utilizando tanto la Escala del Nuevo Paradigma Ambiental (NEP) como la Escala de Percepcion de Problemas Ambientales (CEPS). Los datos registrados permiten concluir que el nivel de conciencia ecologica de la poblacion infantil espanola es medio-alto. Ademas, se propone un modelo en el que se definen cuatro perfiles ecologicos en la infancia: Eco-orientados, naturalistas de salon, utilitaristas y tecnoorientados. However, a better understanding of children’s environmental awareness is needed, since this will make it easier for future generations to assume the demands of pro-environmentalism. This paper highlights the importance of environmental experiences during childhood for the development of pro-environmental attitudes. We discuss different data about Spanish children’s ecological awareness, measured with the New Environmental Paradigm (NEP) scale and the Children’s Environmental Perception Scale (CEPS). According to our findings, Spanish children show a medium-high level of ecological awareness. In addition, we propose a model describing four ecological profiles: eco-oriented, lounge ecologists, utilitarians, and techno-oriented. We conclude by highlighting the value of experiences of contact with nature for children’s pro-environmentalism

Sin embargo, todavia hay margen para llevar a cabo mas exploraciones sobre la interaccion entre el sistema de autocontrol y el comportamiento del consumidor, en concreto sobre la compra por impulso. Esta investigacion busca arrojar luz sobre la importancia del estudio de la compra por impulso que, como en cualquier otro ambito de la vida humana, se ve como resultado del proceso de autocontrol. Este articulo considera diferentes tipos de fracaso de autocontrol que resultan de normas contradictorias, del punto hasta el que las personas monitorizan su comportamiento y del agotamiento de recursos autorregulatorios. A esto le sigue una explicacion de los actuales enfoques sobre el estudio del autocontrol en estudios que versan sobre la compra por impulso. De manera adicional, a traves de la integracion de diferentes modelos de auto control, el presente articulo ofrece un marco general del proceso de autocontrol con especial enfasis en la compra por impulso. Este marco integra componentes de impulsos, el conflicto, la resistencia y el resultado del autocontrol, los cuales deberian ser tenidos en cuenta de manera conjunta al analizar fenomenos de autocontrol. However, there is still room for further explorations of the interplay between the self-control system and consumer behavior, especially regarding impulse buying behavior. This research aims to shed light on the importance of impulse buying study, like any other spheres of human life, as an outcome of self-control process. This paper considers different types of self-control failure resulting from conflicting standards, the degree to which people monitor their behavior, and the depletion of self-regulatory resources. This is followed by explaining the current self-control approaches in impulse buying studies. In addition, integrating different self-control models, the present paper provides a general framework of self-control process with a focus on impulse buying. The framework integrates the components of impulses, conflict, resistance, and self-control outcome that should be considered jointly when analyzing selfcontrol phenomena
