The high spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia has impacted various aspects of life, both social, cultural, and economic. To tackle the spread of COVID-19, the government has created a vaccination program to increase immunity against diseases due to COVID-19. The survey results by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia show that even though it is free, people who volunteer to be vaccinated against COVID-19 still need to meet expectations. Nationally, it is only 65%, while West Kalimantan is only 63%. In Kubu Raya Regency, up to August 2021, positive cases of COVID-19 reached 3,336 points; 71.82% of people who had received vaccine I got 71.82% and vaccine II only 47.67%. Service quality is one of the factors that can determine the success of the vaccination program. This research aims to define community expectations regarding the quality of COVID-19 vaccination services by Community Health Centers in the border areas of Kubu Raya Regency. The research method is quantitative, and data analysis uses the average method and Cartesian diagrams. The research results show that the COVID-19 vaccination service in Kubu Raya Regency uses a pick-up and drop-off model, meaning that the service needs to be carried out at the Community Health Center. Still, officers go to the community with elementary requirements. The COVID-19 vaccination service is carried out at the Village Hall. Officer services still need to be entirely in line with community expectations. The public expects excellent service quality; the quality of COVID-19 vaccination services is still in the good category.

Escherichia coli (E.coli) is a group of gram-negative bacteria that are part of the normal flora in the body. Under certain conditions, these bacteria can be pathogenic by producing enterotoxins that can cause serious infections such as diarrhea. Establishing the diagnosis of infection due to E.coli bacteria, namely through laboratory tests by identifying the bacteria through the bacterial staining method. So far, the most widely used bacterial dyes are synthetic dyes such as safranin. Safranin is a dye in Gram stain which can be carcinogenic and in the long run has a negative impact on health. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to innovate natural dyes that can be used as alternative dyes. Leaves of henna nails (Lawsonia inermis L.) is one of the natural ingredients which has an orange-orange lawsone pigment that is able to color the cell walls of gram-negative bacteria such as E.coli. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of henna leaf extract (Lawsonia inermis L.) as an alternative to safranin staining. This research is a laboratory experiment. The experimental group was stained with henna leaf extract, using ethanol solvent concentrations of 25 mg/ml, 50 mg/ml, 75 mg/ml and 100 mg/ml. The control group used safranin dye. All research groups were carried out 3 repetitions. The parameters used were the clarity of the visual field, the shape of the bacteria, the cleanliness of the preparation and the color of the bacteria compared to the safranin control. The results showed that henna leaf extract was effective enough to be used as a coloring agent to replace safranin because it can color E.coli bacteria well.

Indonesia continues to struggle with nutritional issues, which seriously affect the caliber of human resources (HR). The prevalence of stunting in children under the age of five is one of the nutritional issues that is currently of great concern. The goal is to analyze the reduction in stunting by promoting exclusive breastfeeding and Early Breastfeeding Initiation in toddlers. A case control study with 33 mothers of stunted toddlers and 33 mothers of non-stunted toddlers was done in the working area of the Sei Panas health center. Non-probability sampling is used for sampling, while the chi square test is used for data analysis. It was discovered that 18 (78.3%) of the 25 toddlers who did not get only breast milk stunted, with a p-value of 0.003 0.05; OR 4,286 (Lower 1,246 - Upper 14,735). meaning that the incidence of stunting and exclusive breastfeeding have a substantial link. In addition, 15 (65.2%) of the 22 children who did not initiate early breastfeeding had stunted growth, with a v-palue of 0.039 0.05; OR 8,229 (Lower 2,175- Upper 31,132). This indicates that the incidence of stunting and early breastfeeding initiation are significantly correlated. The following interventions are included in the framework for specific nutritional intervention activities typically carried out in the health sector and are aimed at breastfeeding mothers and children aged 0–6 months: 1) Encouraging early initiation of breastfeeding (giving breast milk/colostrum); Public health centers are advised to increase education about exclusive breastfeeding for babies 0–6 months in order to reduce the incidence of stunting in their working area.

The present paper compares the efficiency of irrigated and rain-fed farming in North Sumatra using a household farm survey for the 2022 growing season. The authors use the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model, mean difference test, and Tobit regression. Empirical results reveal that irrigated farming is more efficient than rain-fed based on CRS and SE assumptions. However, access to irrigation was found to harm rice farming efficiency. Unequal distribution of water, scarcity of water during the growth period, and excess water during the harvest cause a decrease in the efficiency of irrigated farming. The age of the head of household, education, and access to credit was also found to harm technical efficiency. In contrast, the experience variable in participating in farmer groups because it has a positive impact on the efficiency of rice farming. The results provide valuable insights for transforming water management and strengthening the need for investment in irrigation infrastructure as a poverty alleviation mechanism and means to achieve rice farming sustainability in North Sumatra.
