The Effect of Indirect Trauma of Flight Attendants on Job Stress and Safety Behavior: Mediating Effect of Job Stress 空乘人员间接创伤对工作压力和安全行为的影响:工作压力的中介作用

This study attempted to confirm that indirect trauma of flight attendants affects job stress and safety behavior. The trauma experience related to work accidents has been extended not only to direct trauma but also to indirect trauma. As a result of the analysis, indirect trauma had a positive effect on all sub-factors of job stress. In addition, role ambiguity and relationship with colleagues had a negative effect on safety behavior. These two variables also showed a mediating effect in the relationship between indirect trauma and safety behavior. Therefore, when flight attendants experience indirect trauma, he/she loses confidence and expectations in his/her role, his/her relationship with workers becomes unstable, and eventually shows problems with practical safety behavior. These results suggest that the organization should educate crew members on how to cope with stress and manage post-traumatic stress not only for direct outsiders but also for flight attendants who worked together or have close relationships.

A Study for the Determinants of Job Satisfaction in Low Cost Carriers 低成本航空公司工作满意度的影响因素研究

The aim of this research is to explore the antecedents of job satisfaction in the domain of low-cost carriers regarding the labor intensive characteristics of the business. As for the determinants of job satisfaction, this study chose salary, interaction with customer, and organizational transparency. This study collected the data using an online survey. The survey participants were employees in low-cost carriers. The number of valid observations is 208. For the data analysis, this research used exploratory factor analysis, correlation matrix, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results disclosed that job satisfaction of employees in low-cost carriers is positively influenced by salary, interaction with customer, and organizational transparency. This research sheds light on the literature by scrutinizing influential attributes of job satisfaction of employees in the case of low-cost carriers. This study documents the information for human resource management in the area of low-cost carrier businesses.

The Effect of Attractiveness Attributes of Seoul Tourism on the Muslim Tourists’ Perceived Value and Satisfaction: Focusing on Malaysian and Indonesian Tourists 首尔旅游吸引力属性对穆斯林游客感知价值和满意度的影响——以马来西亚和印尼游客为例

This study investigated the relationships among the tourism attractiveness of Seoul, perceived values, and satisfaction in the context of Muslim tourists from Malaysia and Indonesia. The multiple regression was conducted using 261 responses. This analysis produced several findings. First, tourism content had the strongest effect on all types of perceived value among the other categories of attractiveness. Second, as Muslim-friendly facilities affected perceived emotional value negatively, the quality of those facilities should be regarded as critical. Lastly, the perceived social value had the strongest impact on satisfaction. This study has a theoretical implication by considering the perceived social value that existing research has not covered. Practically, it is necessary to develop new tourism contents that increase the perceived social value of Muslim tourists to attract more Muslim tourists to Seoul.

An Analyze of the Differences in Brand Value and Behavioral Intentions by Perceived Sense of Place Perception Segments 基于感知地点感感知片段的品牌价值与行为意向差异分析

This study aimed to verify the differences in tourist destination brand value and behavioral intention through the segmentation of sense of place of local tourist destinations to boost the local economy. A survey was conducted among people who had visited four local tourist destinations in Seoul. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and MANOVA were utilized. As a result, we found differences in brand value and behavioral intention according to the degree of sense of place perception. The group with high place perception and high local attachment showed overall higher results in perceiving brand value variables and also behavioral intention. The group with higher perceived sense of place showed higher results in overall behavioral intention. Based on these findings, this study provided academic and practical implications for local tourist destinations.
本研究旨在通过对当地旅游目的地地方感的分割,来验证旅游目的地品牌价值和行为意愿的差异,从而促进当地经济的发展。对去过首尔市内4个旅游胜地的人进行了调查。采用描述性统计、因子分析、聚类分析和方差分析。因此,我们发现品牌价值和行为意向在不同的地方感知程度上存在差异。高地方感知和高地方依恋组在品牌价值变量感知和行为意向上总体表现出更高的结果。在整体行为意向上,地方感较高的组表现出较高的结果。在此基础上,本研究对当地旅游目的地提供了理论和实践意义。

The effects of Curriculum Quality in the Department of Airline Service on the Cabin Crew’s Perceived Job Confidence and Job Adaptation 航空服务系课程质量对空乘人员感知工作自信和工作适应的影响

This study aims to study the relationships among the quality of the curriculum of the Department of Airline Service and the cabin crew's perceived job confidence and job adaptation. A total of 299 questionnaire surveys were conducted with cabin crew members who majored in the Department of Airline Service. As a result of the analysis, among the six curriculum qualities, image making, general aviation service, aviation safety, and foreign language education had a significant effect on the cabin crew's perceived job confidence, but in-flight service and speech and presentation education did not have an effect. Also it was found that the cabin crew's perceived job confidence had a significant effect on job adaptation. Therefore, based on these results, this study discussed practical implications and suggested directions for follow-up studies.
本研究旨在研究航空服务系课程质量与空乘人员感知工作自信和工作适应之间的关系。对航空服务专业的机组人员共进行了299份问卷调查。分析结果表明,在六种课程素质中,形象塑造、通用航空服务、航空安全、外语教育对空乘人员感知工作信心有显著影响,而机上服务和演讲演讲教育对空乘人员感知工作信心没有影响。研究还发现,空乘人员感知的工作自信对工作适应有显著影响。因此,本研究在此基础上讨论了实际意义,并提出了后续研究的方向。

A Study on the Factors Affecting Intention to Engage in Sustainable MICE: Applying Grounded Theory 可持续会展业意向影响因素研究:基于扎根理论

A major part of sustainable MICE and environmental, social, and governance criteria has been driven by the response to climate change, and other social and economic components have also been gaining prominence during the Covid-19 era. However, there is a tendency to dismiss sustainability only as an environmental factor in the domestic MICE industry. Therefore, this paper examines the definition of sustainable MICE and explores the drivers and barriers that affect the process and behavior toward sustainable MICE behavior. In-depth interviews were conducted with nine MICE specialists working in convention bureaus, convention centers, associations, local governments, and etc. The findings were derived from 13 categories and 38 sub-categories and the paradigm model was named as ‘MICE stakeholder’s consensus building and practice on sustainable MICE recognition’. Furthermore, policies and practical implications for strengthening recognition and attitude on sustainable MICE were discussed.
