Design of a W-band sub-harmonic mixer by employing microstrip technology 利用微带技术设计w波段次谐波混频器

A W-band sub-harmonic mixer was presented employing microstrip hybrid microwave integrated circuit.The parasitic parameter introduced by package structure of the diode was analyzed.Then a method is proposed to reduce the parasitic capacitance of the diode.In order to avoid grounding with via-hole and usage of edge-coupled band-pass filter in the W-band which are commonly encountered in traditional sub-harmonic mixers,a modified configuration of sub-harmonic mixer was proposed.The measured minimum single side conversion loss is 8 dB at a LO of 45 GHz and an IF of 2.4 GHz.The conversion loss is less than 10.5 dB in the range of 90-100 GHz.

用化学溶液沉积法,以Al2O3为衬底在750℃温度下制备了锰钴镍铜Mn1.56Co(0.96-x)Ni0.48CuxO4系列薄膜.制备温度低于传统烧结工艺需要的温度(1100℃).采用X射线衍射(XRD)对所制备材料的结晶性能进行测量.结果表明,在一定范围内随着铜组分的增加,材料的择优取向发生变化,结晶性能提高且保持立方尖晶石单相结构.根据Scherrer方程和XRD数据计算薄膜的晶粒尺寸,Cu含量的增加导致薄膜晶粒尺寸增大.扫描电镜(SEM)图验证了制备的薄膜材料均匀致密,无裂痕.测量材料的变温I-V特性,计算材料在295 K下负温度电阻系数α及其活化能和特征温度,当Cu含量低时材料的α值较大,随着Cu组分的增加,α由-4.12%下降到-3.29%.利用椭偏光谱仪(SE),拟合材料在近紫外-可见-近红外波段的消光系数,并初步指认消光系数峰.

Fabrication and application of high aspect ratio metallic gratings for sensing in the mid-infrared region 中红外区域传感用高纵横比金属光栅的制作与应用

A method for fabricating high aspect ratio(HAR) metallic gratings using nanoimprint together with sputtering and reactive-ion etching(RIE) was introduced.The reflection spectrum is measured by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectrometer in the mid-infrared(Mid-IR) region.The reflection peaks will appear just when the p-polarized light incident normally to the grating vector direction,which is very similar to the phenomenon of surface plasmon resonance.This is the so-called spoof surface plasmon resonance(SSPR).Theoretical analysis based on rigorous coupled wave showed that spoof surface plasmon resonance is very sensitive to the change of refractive index in the surface of the metal.Thus this phenomenon has its potential use as a refractive index sensor.In addition,the shift of resonance wavelength with the refractive index of the metal surface is completely linear.The refractive index sensitivity of the Mid-IR SPR sensor are predicted to be 1600 nm per refractive index unit(1600 nm/RIU) and 5000 nm/RIU for the positive and negative order diffractive waves,respectively.The corresponding figure of merits of the whole system is predicted to be 20 RIU-1 and 60 RIU-1,respectively.The list of applicable target materials will certainly expand greatly if mid-IR SPR-based sensors are developed.

An uncooled infrared readout circuit with substrate temperature compensation 一种带衬底温度补偿的非制冷红外读出电路

A new read-out IC(ROIC) architecture with substrate temperature compensation was introduced for the uncooled microbolometer detector.The influence of responsivity on the substrate temperature was evaluated.Numerical simulation and measurement of the proposed ROIC architecture demonstrated high quality of signal over wide temperature range without using multiple corrections.A 320×240 uncooled microbolometer focal plane array(FPA) based on the proposed circuit was implemented on silicon using a 0.5 μm CMOS technology.The measurement data show that the maximum difference of the output voltages is only 2mV over the change of 20K in the substrate temperature.This architecture is expected to allow removal of the thermoelectric cooler(TEC) from uncooled systems.Thus it is ideally suited for low-cost,low-power,and low-weight production applications.

Analysis of thermal infrared emissivity for sand dust source regions in northwest China 西北沙尘源区热红外发射率分析

Various types of surface emissivities for dust source regions in northwest China were measured by 102F.The comparison betw een field measured spectra and the ASTER JHU spectral library data show ed the reliability and necessity of the field measurement.The analysis results show ed that emissivity had significant differences for different types of land surface.The regular differences in emissivity for the same type surface w ere related to the different physical characteristics.The emissivity w as relatively stable on the time scale.The measurement and analysis of the emissivity data for the sand dust source regions provide important information for sandstorm related researches.

Performance optimization of a middle infrared and long infrared dual-band laser 中红外和长红外双波段激光器的性能优化

A total output power of 25. 5W was achieved after optimizing the transmissivity of the output mirror and the design of the output w indow in the middle infrared and long infrared dual-band( 3 ~ 5 μm 8 ~ 12 μm) laser driving by tw o glow discharge tubes. Pow er in either single band is greater than 10W. The transverse mode of DF and CO2laser beam in the middle and long infrared band is TEM00and TEM20,respectively. An output power of 15. 4W was obtained for TEM00fundamental mode selected w ith a Φ8mm diaphragm. The dual-band laser can w ork as light source for research of dual-band or multi-band infrared detector arrays and the related systems.

Probability characteristics of thermal infrared radiation for anisotropic spheres 各向异性球体热红外辐射的概率特征

In accordance with the hot issues of infrared detection and guidance,an IR transmission process from target to sensitive array w as established to explore the IR signatures of an anisotropic-isothermal sphere model. The energy probability density distribution function w as employed to describe the energy intensity levels of sensitive array units. The energy distributions of detector units w ere abtained w ith the aid of the Monte Carlo Method. The relationship betw een target directional IR radiation characteristics and energy distributions on the sensitive array w as revealed. It indicates that in the case of the equal hemispherical emissivity of far-field small targets,increasing the emissivity in the near-normal direction can appreciably enhance the IR intensity of the image-center unit and improve the IR intensity contrast among the image units.

The D-band MEMS rectangular waveguide iris filter was designed and fabricated.The effects of thicknesses of both metalized layer and iris,and their roughness on the performances of the filter were investigated.The prototypes were fabricated using DRIE method.Several techniques including deep etching,electroplating and bonding were employed for the fabrication of the filter.The MEMS waveguide iris filter with a central frequency of(140±3) GHz,insert loss 0.4-0.7dB,and isolation larger than 18dB has been accomplished for the first time.The test results were in agreement with the simulations.
设计并制作了d波段MEMS矩形波导虹膜滤波器。研究了金属化层厚度和膜层粗糙度对滤光片性能的影响。采用DRIE法制备原型机。采用了深蚀刻、电镀和键合等多种工艺制备该滤光片。首次实现了中心频率为(140±3)GHz、插入损耗0.4 ~ 0.7 db、隔离度大于18dB的MEMS波导光圈滤波器。试验结果与模拟结果一致。

利用旋涂法制备并采用氢气退火处理得到P(VDF—TrFE)/Ag复合薄膜,在XRD图像上可以观察到在20=38.1°的Ag(111)相的衍射峰,同样在SEM图像上观察到银纳米粒子的存在.在薄膜的红外透射光谱上可以观察到B相特征峰的蓝移,这可归结为银纳米粒子与偶极子的相互作用.银纳米粒子的掺杂增强了薄膜的铁电和介电性能.与传统退火方式处理的纯P(VDF.TrFE)薄膜相比,纳米银掺杂比例为10%的P(VDF—TrFE)/Ag复合薄膜的铁电剩余极化强度和介电常数分别提高了32.5%和13.3%.介电损耗不随纳米银掺杂比例的增加而变化的现象不符合渗流理论.
