Background: Body image and weight perceptions have a significant impact on nutritional practices and weight management. An inability to accurately assess body image and weight status may result in ineffective weight management measures and health risks. Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the weight status (BMI), self-perceived body image, and dietary habits of Saudi and non-Saudi women working at the University of Hail. Material and Methods: A well-designed and pre-tested questionnaire was used to collect data on 240 respondents' demographic characteristics, anthropometric measurements, self-perceived body image, medical histories, amount of time spent engaging in various activities, and frequency of consuming various food categories. Results: Sixty-one percent were 31–40 years old, and 33% were 41–50 years of age. Saudi subjects' mean height was 159 cm, their weight was 65 kg and their BMI was 25 kg/m2. Whereas in non-Saudi countries, the mean height was 160 ± 5.8, weight 66 ± 16.1, and BMI 26 ± 6.0. The prevalence of obesity or being overweight is shown for both categories. A comparison of BMI and self-perceived body image revealed that Saudi respondents accurately assessed their own body image, in contrast to pre-obese and obese non-Saudis. Hypertension and diabetes were common among pre-obese and obese subjects in both groups. Pre-obese (23%), obese (17%), Saudis, and pre-obese (18%) non-Saudis spend more than 6 hours on their cell phone. Walking and exercising at the gym were favourite activities among normal and pre-obese Saudi and non-Saudi subjects. Chi-square analysis revealed a statistically significant relationship between weight status and the amount of time spent doing sedentary activities (X2 (9, N = 240) =19.60, P =.0204). Dietary practices showed consumption of cereals, meat, and milk products was higher compared to fruits and vegetables. As a result, the diet was lacking in fiber-rich foods, which may be one of the causes of the high prevalence of overweight or obesity. Conclusion: For the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, good dietary practices with an emphasis on physical activity should be highlighted. INTRODUCTION:The joint dislocation is most commonly occurring in shoulder joint. There are two types of dislocation which is anterior and posterior joint dislocation. Most of the case that brings patients to the clinic was the anterior subtypes dislocation and it needs an immediate treatment. Chronic anterior shoulder joint dislocation is a rare case of anterior joint dislocation in orthopaedics where the dislocation of the joint has remained dislocated for three weeks. CASE PRESENTATION:A 49-year-old with left shoulder deformity he came to outpatient department of Orthopaedics with chief complaint pain when moving the left shoulder region for 6 months ago. He went for traditional massage treatment, but pain on shoulder still persisted and still deformed. Patient diagnosed with neglected anterior shoulder dislocation for 6 months, open reduction and Latarjet surgery was done to manage the case. Follow up the patient for 3 months as outpatient and there is no pain or recurrent dislocation. DISCUSSION:Chronic anterior shoulder joint dislocation is an unusual case for Orthopaedic surgeons to encounter. Latarjet would bring stability by ‘triple effect’ and it is more familiar for the surgeon than remplissage procedure CONCLUSION:Neglected anterior shoulder joint dislocation was one of rare case in Orthopaedics where there is no specific treatment for the dislocation but with open reduction and Latarjet surgery, there was a higher effectiveness for stability and lower recurrence rate Keywords: Neglected anterior shoulder dislocation, Latarjet procedure, open reduction

Objective: Dental pain is the most common reason for dental visits among children in many regions in the world. The weather changes can change the health lifestyle by increasing drinking cold drinks which may cause dental hypersensitivity or misdiagnosed dental pulpitis due to the limited ability to describe the dental pain by the children. Most children cannot observe the decay in the early sage and they need indeed their parent to guide them in a healthy lifestyle. Subject and Methods: Data were collected retrospectively of 600 children from the dental records of new pediatric patients attending a clinic. The collected data included all months in 2022. The frequency of each invasive procedure in each month was calculated as well the gender and other demographic variables. Aim: To determine the highest frequency of dental pain attenders among children under 14 years old during the four seasons of 2022 and using these results to enhance our health services to design future plans. Result: The highest frequency of dental pain cases was in summer (84%) and the lowest was in Spring (16%). Conclusion: This study could be the first study aiming to investigate the dental pain patients flow regarding the four seasons. It has been done in Makkah in which the weather temperature can reach 50 degrees in the summer. Further studies with the same aim in a different weather condition are needed to compare our results and enhance our health services in the future. Conclusion: Dental pain season is in the summer in our paediatric dental clinic. The high frequency of dental pain cases during the summer could be a result of the health lifestyle related to the hot weather. Keywords: Dental pain season, paediatric dental clinic, Makkah

Cartesian dualism dominates psychotherapy and sociology, displacing the body-subject as described in philosophy. This research explores the experience of body-subject in psychotherapy by conducting a qualitative research based on the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with psychotherapists. The analysis identified 4 superordinate themes and 2 subthemes for each theme. The first theme explores what is a body and how embodiment is expressed. The second theme focuses on somatic countertransference which operates either as a guide to understanding or as another way of communicating. The third theme highlights the contradiction between the freedom and the power of the bodies while the last theme focuses on observation and self-observation which are utilized as a way of understanding or overlooked so that therapists can dwell on experience. The findings suggest that dualism permeates psychotherapy, with the body-object guiding the therapy although some experiences manage to escape it and focus on the body-subject thus giving substance to the lived body. Taking into account the limitations of the study, future research could focus on the experiences of psychotherapists from approaches such as dramatherapy since the body is very active and present. Background: Dental caries is a highly prevalent oral disease. The primary cause of dental caries involves bacteria, notably Streptococcus mutans, thriving in an acidogenic environment, breaking down fermentable carbohydrates and ultimately leading to the formation of cavities. Multiple studies have indicated a higher female predilection towards dental caries. Aim: The aim of this study is to find out a possible relationship between gender and the prevalence of dental caries among children in order to increase awareness of the significance of consistent oral hygiene practices. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey conducted on a study sample of 5332 children from 8 to 16 years. Intraoral camera was used to carry out the clinical examination by trained dental professionals. Data was compiled and analysed using SPSS version 29. Statistical analysis was done using Chi square test. Results: Among 5332 subjects, 844 males (31.34%) out of 2693 and 894 females (33.88%) out of 2639 were found to have dental caries. Chi square test was used to determine the significance of difference between the prevalence of dental caries among males and females. It showed a statistically significant correlation between dental caries and gender (p<0.05). Conclusion: Dental caries is frequently disregarded in its early stages, despite its detrimental effects. Considering the plethora of variables that contribute, especially in women, it is essential to encourage self-awareness and refrain from underestimating its impact. Ignoring dental cavities can lead to premature tooth loss, which can have an adverse effect on general health. Keywords: Dental Caries, Gender, Prevalence, Children, Chi-square test, Intraoral camera

Chronic liver disease is the 11th leading cause of mortality and the 15th leading cause of morbidity across the world. The World Health Organisation records deaths due to liver diseases as 3.17% in India. It is a progressive deterioration of liver functions as it is a continuous process of inflammation, destruction, and regeneration of liver parenchyma. Caregivers, who are often family members or close relatives, play a crucial role in supporting and providing care to these patients who might also be critically ill due to the diagnosis of various chronic liver diseases. They often experience exhaustion of mental, physical, and emotional arenas of health while taking care of critically ill CLD patients; this in turn affects their quality of life and also contributes towards the symptom burden experienced by the caregivers. Marital status, age, gender, social habits, employment status, economic status, etc. have been shown to significantly affect the quality of life and symptom burden experienced by the caregivers. This abstract provides a brief overview of existing research on quality of life and perceived symptom burden among caregivers of chronic liver disease. It also emphasizes the importance of addressing the mental and physical health needs of caregivers. Design: A thorough literature search was undertaken which included major online databases (PUBMED, SPRINGER, SCIENCE DIRECT, and GOOGLE SCHOLAR).

Introduction: A chest tube (hollow, flexible drainage tube) placement is a procedure in which a tube is inserted by an aseptic technique through the side of the chest wall into the pleural space. The complication rate in patients with ICD has been found high, resulting from inadequate knowledge of thoracic anatomy or/and insufficient clinical training and experience. Objective: Assessing the efficacy of a structured Clinical training program regarding the care of patients with chest tube drainage, assessing existing and gained knowledge and practices level, and finding the association between the sociodemographic variables and knowledge and practices. Material and Methods: In this Prospective study, 200 nurses participated in the study; pre-test and Post-test research designs were applied in this study. Data collection was done by using of probability random sampling technique. Result: The Pre-test Mean knowledge score was 8.77 with a standard deviation of 2.08 and the Mean practical knowledge score was 7.6 with a standard deviation of 2. When participants' knowledge and practices were checked before the training program, 58 % (116) subjects had Good Knowledge, 22.5 % (45) had average knowledge, 17.5 % (35) had excellent knowledge, and 2 % (4) had poor knowledge scores. When participants' practical knowledge was checked before the training program, 49 % (98) subjects had good practice scores, 43 % (86) had average practice scores, 5.5 % (11) had excellent practice scores, and 2.5 % (5) had poor practice scores. Posttest mean knowledge score was 10.56 with a standard deviation of 1.86. Posttest mean Practical knowledge score was 10.57 with a standard deviation of 2.26. After the structured clinical training program, 57.5 % (23) had an adequate knowledge score, 40 % (16) had a moderate level of knowledge score, and 2.5 % (1) had inadequate knowledge. After the structured clinical training program, 50 % (100) had an excellent practice score and 42 % (84) had a good practice score, and 8 % (16) had an average practice score. An association was found between existing knowledge score and marital status, between post-test knowledge and Religion as calculated p-values of the Fisher Exact test that is 0.036, 0.017 is smaller than the alpha value 0.05. In the Practical Knowledge score, an association between pre-test practice scores and the number of previous ICD training was found, as the calculated p-value of the fisher Exact test 0.04 was smaller than the alpha value of 0.05. Conclusions: In the care of a patient who has an Inter-costal chest tube, need much attention as comparing other, because the handling of the ICD tube and bag, emptying of a bag, and transportation of the ICD patient need careful action. In our study, we found that existing knowledge and Practice of ICD care procedures are not satisfactory with the traditional teaching approach, bedside clinical training is a beneficial approach that will significantly improve the Knowledge and Kno

The branch of forensic science that deals with dental evidence is called forensic odontology. It is a very recent science that makes use of dentists' expertise to benefit the legal system. The importance of forensic identification based on examination of prosthetic appliances is growing since labelling on dentures and other prosthetic devices may offer crucial hints for patient identification. This article reviews the relevant research and emphasises how a prosthodontist can be crucial in the identification of a deceased person. Keywords: Denture marking, embossing, forensic odontology, inclusion, denture marking medium
