Aim: To assess the impact of taking proper breaks and the role of reminders in enhancing compliance while working on digital devices in reducing the digital eye strain. Methodology: This was a questionnaire-based prospective study determining the role of taking proper breaks and the role of daily reminders in enhancing patient compliance and in-turn reducing digital eye strains. The study examines compliance variations with the 20-20 rule in two distinct groups, Group-I (Subjects who got daily reminders) and Group-II (Subjects who did not get any reminders). The occurrence of symptoms related to digital eye strains were also compared between the subjects in the two groups and from baseline. Results: A significant proportion of respondents were not aware of the 20-20 rule and do not actively implement it. Taking visual breaks reduce digital eye strain as both Group-1 and Group-2 generally have lower symptom prevalence compared to the Baseline group. However, Group-2 tends to have higher symptom prevalence compared to Group-1 indicating that reminders may play an important role in reduction in symptoms of digital eye strain. Conclusion: The 20-20-20 rule is a simple and effective technique to help prevent Computer Vision Syndrome and reduce the risk of Digital Eye Strain caused by prolonged computer use or digital device use. However, a lack of knowledge regarding the 20-20-20 rule prevails and it is important to spread awareness about the importance of visual breaks during digital work. Since getting proper reminders can enhance the compliance, incorporation of reminders in digital devices can be useful for people who often suffer from DES due to lack of proper breaks. Background: Vertigo, a sensation of dizziness and spinning, can occur in menopausal women due to hormonal changes. To measure these vertigo symptoms, a tool called the Vertigo Symptom Scales Short-form (VSS-SF) is commonly used. The VSS-SF is currently not available in Gujarati language so there is a need to develop a scale which can be used by the Gujarati language speaking population. Material & method: An observational study was conducted, translating the scale VSS-SF comprises 15 items, each scored on a 5-point scale (0–4) into Gujarati through double forward and backward translation. Experts scored each question as accepted or rejected. The finalized Gujarati version's reliability were assessed with a sample of 20 menopausal women. Result: Result calculated by using SPSS. The Gujarati version of the VSS-SF has high internal consistency (Cronbach’s α=0.873). Conclusion: The translation of the VSS-SF into Gujarati successfully maintained the semantic and measurement properties of the original version. The resulting Gujarati version proved to be a valid and reliable scale for assessing vertigo symptoms in the Gujarati population. Keywords: VSS-sf, Menopausal women, Reliability, Validity

In Recent years, digitalization has taken over many industries including healthcare professions worldwide, and India is no exception. According to 'National Digital Health Mission (NDHM)' -Making India a Digital Health Nation Enabling Digital Healthcare for all Strategy Overview of JULY-2020 significant technical shift will occur in healthcare system in India and so there is need of the study to investigate whether healthcare providers and seekers are ready for this change or not. There are limited researches available in literature in this area hence need of study arises. The aim of present study is to investigate the level of E-health literacy in Physiotherapist practising in India. MATERIALS & METHODS: Total 174 registered physiotherapist (123 females, 55 males) practicing in Gujarat participated in this survey. E-health literacy scale (Eheals) is a valid and reliable tool, it’s a self-administered questionary which has 5 points from which best suitable option will be chose by responder from strongly agree/very useful to strongly disagree. 90% of physiotherapist believed that the internet is a useful and important tool in making decisions related to healthcare and for accessing health-related information. Regardless of the high percentage regarding the usefulness and importance of the internet, the ability and skills of finding and utilizing health care resources electronically was noted moderate to low. CONCLUSION: E-health literacy was found moderate to low on Physiotherapist practicing in India. There are countless possibilities of further studies in this area with larger population size and various other components of E-health literacy.
