Introduction. In the Russian Federation, recidivism is a serious problem, especially due to the fact that more than half of all crimes are committed by repeat offenders, including persons under administrative supervision. The analysis of legislation and practice of preventive impact identified the problems of adaptation of supervised persons and shortcomings in the activities of the subjects of the system of prevention of recidivist crime – divisional police officers. The article deals with one of the possible solutions of the problem – improving the training of divisional police officers for individual preventive work with supervised persons. The purpose of the research is to determine the content of individual preventive work of divisional police officers with persons under administrative supervision. Research methods and techniques: the methodology of pedagogical science is used to study the perceptions of specialists and trainees on the nature of individual prevention work, knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for its implementation. A questionnaire and analysis of the obtained data were used as research methods. The experts were asked to answer questions regarding their experience and approaches to individual preventive work with persons under administrative supervision. The obtained data were analysed statistically in order to identify general tendencies and peculiarities. The sample: 10 experts – current employees of internal affairs bodies, occupying the posts of divisional police officers and serving in 5 regions of the Russian Federation; 88 cadets of the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The empirical research is aimed at determining the content of individual preventive work of divisional police officers with persons under administrative supervision by interviewing experts – current employees of internal affairs bodies, occupying the posts of divisional police officers and serving in 5 regions of the Russian Federation. Results of the research. The analysis of the research results demonstrates that in order to increase the effectiveness of individual preventive work it is necessary to improve the content of training of divisional police officers. The police officer should understand the social and psychological patterns of criminalisation of supervised persons, be able to assess the risk factors of recidivism and build a system of educational measures. This aspect of the work of future divisional police officers is not sufficiently represented in the content of professional training in institutions of higher education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Introduction. The relevance of the study of criminogenic individuals’ self-fulfilment is determined by the necessity to prevent recidivism. The paper considers the importance of self-fulfilment as an alternative criminological technique to examine the causes of crime, failures of resocialisation and reintegration into society after serving a criminal sentence. The research shows that self-fulfilment of criminogenic individuals is not studied enough along with other aspects of personality subjectivity. Thus, there is no holistic view of its specificity among individuals demonstrating sequential-criminogenic, situational-criminogenic and law-abiding behaviour, the role that social environment plays in overcoming difficulties. The aim is to describe the self-fulfillment of an individual depending on the level of criminality, as well as attitudes to the social environment that influence its realization. Research methods are divided into methods of processing theoretical information (analysis, synthesis, classification, generalisation), as well as empirical methods of survey and processing the results of empirical research (comparison of groups by Mann-Whitney U-criterion, calculation of the generalized linear model (general linear model, GLM). The empirical study is devoted to the study of self-fulfilment of individuals depending on the type of criminogenic behaviour and attitudes to the social environment. The sample of the study consists of 388 people covering 142 law-abiding individuals, 133 situational-criminogenic people and 113 sequential-criminogenic individuals. Results. The result of the study is an empirical description of the peculiarities of self-fulfilment, typical for individuals exhibiting sequential-criminogenic type of behaviour, and importance of the social environment. The study revealed that criminogenesis negatively affects the self-fulfilment of a criminogenic individual, making it difficult to choose a personal significant goal, its retention and achievement. The availability of relations with the social environment proves to be the essential factor to maintain the focus and dealing with difficulties in self-fulfilment of a criminogenic individual. Self-fulfilment of a criminogenic individual depends on the self-attitude as a subject of interaction with others and participation of other people in personally significant goal attainment. The results can be applied in theoretical studies of criminogenic individuals, designing programs aimed at prevention of recidivism.

With the development of a law-based society, the psychological pressure on law enforcement personnel has increased, making the construction of an effective psychological health support system of great significance. This paper, focusing on police officers as representatives, mainly discusses the development of psychological health services for police forces in various countries and the practices and explorations in the construction of psychological health services and support systems for the Chinese police force. Based on practical work in Shanghai, China, this paper proposes the construction of a "three circles, three layers" psychological health work framework centered on police officers, with police-community cooperation and family-team connectivity. It also introduces an integrated "four dimensions, four wholes" psychological health work system and model that includes psychological selection, psychological education, psychological service, and crisis intervention, aiming to provide a reference for the construction of psychological health support systems for law enforcement personnel.

Introduction. Professional psychological selection is dedicated for fulfilling the need of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation to identify candidates capable of performing their intended duties, and is a means of preventing deviant behaviour in future officers. There are four categories of professional psychological suitability based on two criteria: the level of development of personal and business qualities and the risk factors for deviant behaviour. The third category of professional psychological selection is the most widespread - it is conditionally recommended. Analysis of individual-psychological characteristics of candidates with this category is able to improve the quality of staffing and increase the efficiency of work with personnel. Methods. The data collection methods were a set of tests and questionnaires corresponding to those recommended for professional psychological selection. Data processing was carried out with the use of the hardware-software psychodiagnostic complex "Multipsychometer". Data analysis was carried out using the computer programme JAMOVI. The methods of descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient (r-Pearson), one-factor analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used. Results. The results of the research of psychological peculiarities of candidates for the police service, referred to the third category of professional psychological suitability, are presented. The information on differences in the development of personal and business qualities in citizens depending on the results of their professional selection is obtained. The types of candidates recommended conditionally, depending on the presence of a risk factor of deviant behaviourare described. The results of the research prove the validity of the admission to the service of persons classified in the third category of professional suitability and indicate perspective directions of their psychological support at the initial stage of professionalisation.

Introduction. The article is devoted to the criminological analysis of terrorist and extremist offences during the pre-election campaign of the President of the Russian Federation. The period of possible, though legitimate, transformation of power for any state is the most responsible, often causing temporary instability of social relations, destabilising normal work of law enforcement and other bodies. As the main means of such destructive activity are mainly extremist and terrorist offences, maximally aimed at discrediting the existing political system. The authors note that for such a city as St. Petersburg, the election of the President of the Russian Federation is of special importance, which, accordingly, affects both the growth of such offences and their qualitative characteristics. In this regard, the election campaign of 2024 was marked by maximum manifestations of opposition, expressed in the most cynical deviant forms. In turn, criminological analysis of such activities is of serious importance for further prognosis of the criminal situation in the period of the future elections, making it possible to develop a set of measures for counteracting such behaviour and ensuring the stability of social relations in the future. Methods. The research is based on the universal dialectical method of cognition, including the analysis of factors and processes of determination of terrorist and extremist offences, as well as a combination of general scientific (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction, systemic method) and particular scientific (formal-legal, logical, statistical, content analysis of mass media and the Internet) methods of cognition. Conclusion. The authors formulated the priority tasks for the law enforcement system in counteracting terrorist and extremist offences for the future period.

Introduction. One of the main problems of ensuring personal safety is studying intimate partner violence in a legal context. This article for the first time deals with the situation of intimate partner violence as legally significant, based on the qualifying features of the offence of sexual inviolability. Research methods and results. In the course of theoretical analysis, possible types of behaviour of the victim in a situation of intimate partner violence were identified, as well as distinctive features of the crime committed in partner relationships in comparison with sexual offences. The main identifiable features of the ability of a victim of intimate partner violence to realise the nature of the actions committed against her/him and to resist them were determined, including the ability to identify what happens as violence, to adequately assess the violent actions, to predict the consequences of such relationships and actions, to regulate her/his own behaviour in a legally significant situation; personal experience (in childhood and in her/his own relationships); the level of mental development, the peculiarity of subjective processing of information; individual and personal characteristics of a victim of intimate partner violence. The necessity of determining a legally defined qualifying feature of the corpus delicti in cases of intimate partner violence is emphasised.

Introduction. Professional activity, including the solution of operational-service tasks, involves both physical and psychological resources of the employee. It results in tiredness, exhaustion and risk of fatigue development, reducing the efficiency and quality of his activity. Early psychodiagnostics makes it possible to take timely measures to prevent fatigue. The author proposes using the questionnaire “Subjective Assessment of Personal Fatigue”. The assessment of fatigue is an indicator of the dominant mental state of the subject of work activity, his motivational features and staff risks, manifested in his efficiency, satisfaction with his professional career, professional and psychological well-being. The main purpose of the questionnaire is to identify the level of employee's fatigue on the basis of subjective assessment of memory, attention and working capacity. The questionnaire is a set of 17 items, each of which is evaluated on a seven-point scale (from 1– completely disagree to 7 – completely agree). The final scale point is calculated by summing up the points for all items of the questionnaire. Depending on the expression of the total point, the level of fatigue in the continuum “tiredness – weariness – fatigue” is assessed. The higher the point, the more the scales are shifted in the direction of fatigue. Research Methods. Correlational and comparative analyses. Introduction. It is difficult for modern people to imagine a world without Internet communications, which, on the one hand, offer new opportunities for leisure, interaction, and development, on the other hand, have a huge potential for influencing individual and public consciousness. Some people perceive such influence negatively, as they associate it with manipulation, while others fall into the net of manipulative influence and become its victims. Of particular concern are fakes, which pose a threat of spreading inaccurate information, compromising the reputation of the media, increasing the level of anxiety and fear in society. This problem is recognised at the state level, as the dissemination of distorted information reached the level of a threat to state security. Measures are being taken at the legislative level, including administrative and criminal liability, but experts predict the growth of fake information. Therefore, it is extremely important to analyse fake materials, to work on methods and ways of their recognition, to inform and train citizens to critically assess information flows, to recognise their manipulative nature. The aim of the research is to study the attitude of citizens to fake information, its dissemination in the Internet space as a way of manipulating public consciousness. Research methods. The authors reviewed the scientific literature and the results of sociological research, in particular, those proposed by the autonomous non-commercial organisation “Dialogue Regions”, on fake information, by means of which public consciousness is manipulated. The article presents the results of the research on the attitude of Irkutsk residents to fakes disseminated in the Internet space. The empirical basis of the research was the results of the questionnaire survey conducted in October 2023 in Irkutsk. 100 people took part in the survey. Results. The examination of the issue of the dissemination of fakes in the Internet space, the conducted questionnaire survey made it possible to assert that fakes have become a part of the information flow in the Internet space, and therefore, a part of the real life of modern society, where people are constantly faced with misinformation. Regardless of the negative impact of fake information considered as manipulative content, it is obvious that its flow will grow. Its negative impact on all spheres of society will increase. Risks of material and physical losses are possible, as fake information represents a dangerous information-psychological weapon. This weapon, in particular, is used by unfriendly countries as an indirect information-psychological impact on the Russian population. The main task in modern conditions is to counter the information attack, manipulation of public consciousness of citizens.
