This study investigates the effectiveness of distribution channels for Indomie instant noodles in Oyo State, Nigeria, to increase product availability and reduce distribution costs. Utilizing a quantitative research design, quantitative data from 615 respondents, including members of staff of Dufil group Nigeria Plc, distributors, wholesalers, and sales representatives, combined with regression analysis, indicates that there is effectiveness in ascertaining that products reach their consumers in time at minimal costs through the producer-distributor-wholesaler-retailer-consumer channel. Significant elements of costs include transport, time taken for delivery, and infrastructural difficulties, with a case in point as poor road networks increase the cost of distribution. This study recommends strategic implementations such as the direct delivery system, integration of Information Communication Technology, and company-owned logistics to improve the efficiency of distribution, reduce costs, and ensure that customers are satisfied with the service rendered by the company. These upgrades can be used to further strengthen the position of Indomie instant noodles as the leading noodle brand in Nigeria.

This study examines the income and expenditure patterns among migrant and non-migrant fisherfolk households in Malappuram District, Kerala. Based on a sample of 375 households, with 172 migrants and 203 non-migrants surveyed between August 2023 and December 2023. Malappuram district which is located in the southern Indian state of Kerala, is known for its Kerala model of development and foremost position in the marine fisheries sector. Employing statistical tools such as chi-square, independent sample t-tests, and multiple linear regression, the study analyses how migration affects the income and expenditure patterns of the marine fisherfolk community. The chi-square results reveal significant disparities in occupational choices influenced by migration. The independent sample t-test indicates a statistically significant difference in mean income between migrant and non-migrant households. The multiple linear regression model examines the influence of migration status on expenditure alongside other explanatory variables, revealing that migration status and income significantly predict expenditure, while family size and age do not. These results, taken together, offer a sophisticated picture of how migration affects the income and spending habits of the Malappuram district's fishing community. Several policy suggestions can be made in light of these findings to reduce inequalities and improve the standard of living for households headed by migrant and non-migrant fishermen. Migrant fishermen can increase their income levels and have more career options by implementing focused skill development and training programs. The community can be empowered and long-term benefits can be ensured by supporting education and awareness programs that emphasize sustainable fishing practices and financial literacy.

With the rapid development of the current market economy of China, corporate social responsibility had gradually begun to be taken into one of the factors that determine their purchase intention for the consumers when they purchased the products. At present, most of the researchers were about exploring the impact of corporate social responsibility on the final behaviour of the consumers, but the internal mechanism of corporate social responsibility that affected the behaviour of consumers was relatively rare. Based on the attribution theory, the mediation model with moderation to study its internal mechanism had been constructed in this research, also the methods of questionnaire survey were used to the empirical test for the conceptual model in this research. The results of the study showed that the corporate social responsibility had a direct positive impact on the purchase intention of the consumers, also it had an indirect positive impact on the purchase intention of consumers that through the altruistic attribution; The perceived effectiveness of consumer would positively regulate the influence of the corporate social responsibility on altruistic attribution; while the corporate social responsibility-corporate ability beliefs would negatively affect the relationship between altruistic attribution and purchase intention of consumers. Finally, the suggestions had been put forward for the results obtained by the survey in this research, which could be taken as reference for the academic community and the industry.

This study aims to understand the potential for migrant workers to join trade unions by analyzing labor disputes, employment characteristics, and socio-demographic factors. Utilizing data from a survey of 823 migrant workers conducted in Shanghai and nine other cities in China, this research examines both the associational (organizational membership) and behavioral (activity participation) aspects of trade union participation. The results indicate that rural migrant workers exhibit a low level of union participation, contrary to expectations based on their labor market position and the recruitment efforts by Chinese unions. Three primary barriers to union participation were identified: (1) migrant workers in state-owned firms are significantly more likely to participate in unions compared to those in private firms, where union presence is weaker; (2) occupational and employment status discrimination within workplaces hinders rural migrant workers from joining unions; and (3) trust in trade unions is relatively low among Chinese migrant workers, likely due to the close relationship between unions and the government, which may undermine union legitimacy and impede worker engagement. These findings highlight the systemic challenges that rural migrant workers face in engaging with trade unions in China.

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), founded on May 29, 2014, represents a significant effort to enhance economic growth and prosperity among former Soviet states, notably Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Russia. Tracing its origin from the dissolution of the USSR and the subsequent establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 1991, the EAEU emerged after overcoming initial challenges faced by the CIS, formalizing its structure in 2015. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the EAEU's historical evolution, institutional framework, and the dynamics of its economic integration. By examining the EAEU's impact on member economies, including achievements like the creation of a unified labour market and increased trade volumes, the study stresses its role in advancing regional economic cooperation. It also addresses persistent challenges such as disparities in energy resources and the union's limited supranational authority. Furthermore, this paper draws comparisons between the EAEU and the European Union (EU), offering perceptions into their differing organizational structures and levels of integration. Through this comparative lens, it elucidates how each union shapes regional dynamics and influences global economic relations.

Corporations utilise a significant portion of environmental and human resources for production and related processes. Profit maximisation was the only motive behind any business in the past. However, its long-term existence depends on its involvement with the environment and society, which shows the importance of sustainable practices. This study attempts to analyse the prevailing status of research on corporate sustainability to find the literature gap for future research. Using specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, 114 articles published in the Scopus database were selected for in-depth review and analysis. Analysis indicates that the publication trend was tailed towards recent years. Most of the available literature was found to have been undertaken in developed countries. The most considered themes are the determinants of sustainability, sustainability and firm performance, and compliance level of sustainability. Stakeholder theory is the widely used theory for explaining corporate sustainability. Future studies need a shift towards other aspects like the impact on earnings management, cost of capital, market risk, and the like. The unavailability of an exact measurement scale compelled the researchers to use different proxies to measure corporate sustainability. More efforts are required to find the correct indicator of absolute sustainability level instead of the ESG score provided by different databases.

Purpose: The main motive of the present study is to investigate the Environmental Kuznets curve hypothesis (EKC) in six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries from 1995-2020. To attain this aim the time series model is built by utilizing Co2 emission as an environment indicator and GDP per capita, energy consumption and urbanization as economic indicators. Model Specification / Methodology: Phillips Perron’s (PP) unit root test is applied to check the maximum order of integration among variables. Auto-regressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds estimation model is applied to test the existence of co-integration among variables. Findings: The study found that the EKC hypothesis applies to Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar after comparing the long run and short-run income elasticities. The results of the Toda–Yamamoto–Dolado–Lütkepohl (TYDL) non-granger causality test showed unidirectional causality between carbon emissions and energy consumption in Kuwait and Qatar. Bidirectional causality is found between economic growth and energy consumption in the UAE while unidirectional causality is from urbanization to energy consumption in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

The study explores the significant influence of sustainable agriculture on the socioeconomic structure of developing nations. It highlights how sustainable agriculture stimulates economic expansion by developing new avenues for income generation and entrepreneurship, in addition to boosting productivity and resource efficiency. By means of market integration, value chain development, and sustainable financing mechanisms, avenues are opened for small farmers to gain entry into profitable markets, thereby enhancing their economic position. The present study provides a sophisticated comprehension of how sustainable agriculture goes beyond the simple preservation of the environment and acts as a driver for comprehensive development. Through the mitigation of social inequalities and economic disparities, sustainable agriculture possesses the capacity to unleash the complete potential of developing nations, thereby establishing a pathway towards a prosperous and resilient future. It uses a comprehensive methodology, consulting databases like Google Scholar, FAO, The World Bank, ICRAF, Research Gate, and WRI, to explore literature on sustainable agriculture's economic impact in developing nations. The research aims to provide insights into how sustainable practices can foster economic prosperity and sustainable development. The findings of the study explain how sustainable agricultural practices in India improve rural livelihoods, conserve natural resources, enhance food security, reduce health risk, and promote long-term sustainability. By adopting organic farming and agroforestry, farmers can reduce dependency on chemical inputs, improve income, and contribute to poverty reduction.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enteprises (MSMEs) were known for their contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and work labor absorption. However, they often face a lack of strategic planning, limited funding, and strategy to meet market demands. This can be caused by a lack of marketing strategy formulation. This study aims to provide a descriptive overview of community service from university to empower MSMEs in marketing strategy analysis by conducting an international seminar. This study uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method in empowering Audy Handmade. This MSMSe focuses on knit bag production. This study consists of three main activities which initiated by preliminary visit to gain insight into existing problems. The international seminar was also conducted as the next activity to solve their problem. This seminar aims to become a sharing session between the MSMEs and marketing experts to share their conditions and provide feedback from experts to MSMEs. Lastly, there is an evaluation stage to ensure the main goals of the event were achieved. The workshop results in two points that need to be a concern for Audy Handmade. First, they need to produce a bag that can be of unique value for them such as adding some unique element or their logo on the bag. Besides that, they need to reorganize their marketing strategy. They need to focus on some specific marketing segment to help them take a position in the market. A strong brand identity, effective marketing strategies, and attractive product packaging were believed to help improve their products' visibility, competitiveness, and sales in the market. Therefore, Audy Handmade needs to strengthen its brand image, especially its product uniqueness, and its position in certain market segments. This needs to be taken into consideration as a means of strengthening their position in the knit bag industry.
