Strategi Komunikasi Politik Legislator Lokal Dalam Mempertahankan Elektabilitas di Kota Semarang 三宝垄市地方议员维持可选性的政治沟通策略

This research is a case study of the success of the political communication strategy of a local legislator named Kadarlusman in the city of Semarang in maintaining his political electability. The paradigm used in this research is the constructivism paradigm. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews and observation to obtain primary data as well as documentation and literature study to obtain secondary data. The theory used in this research is the social exchange theory of John Thibaut and Harold Kelley which highlights the exchange of messages, responses and rewards between individuals and dyadic groups in social interactions. The results of this research show the success of a local legislator named Kadarlusman as Chair of the Semarang City DPRD in maintaining his political electability in the City of Semarang through a Political Communication Strategy, especially in the Electoral District 5 area. The series of Political Communication activities carried out was the City DPRD Chairperson Cup E-Sports Mobile Legends Tournament. Semarang, Kopimi Outlet UMKM Bazaar, Wonosari Village, Cultural Carnival in the framework of the KH Haul. Syafi'I Piyoronegoro, and Pak Pilus' interactions with residents of RW 10. The results of this research were analyzed to determine the social exchanges that occurred in the context of interpersonal communication and it can be concluded that his political communication strategy was successful. Kadarlusman has received the most votes in Semarang City in legislative elections since 2014, 2019 and 2024.

The News Media in Raising Conflicts Tension: A Critical Study Toward News Conflict Between Israel and Palestine 加剧冲突紧张局势的新闻媒体:对以色列和巴勒斯坦新闻冲突的批判性研究

This study analyzes the news about conflict between Israel and Palestine in online news media Foxnews.com on May 2021. The characteristics of news from these news media have quite specific characteristics, which is a strong tone, using open visualization, inviting debate, and succeeding in getting thousands of comments from the audience. In this point, even though the news is read by many people, it is also has the potential to exacerbate conflict in the field. This study adopts Teun A. van Dijk’s Critical Discourse Analysis method which develops analysis from the microstructure, superstructure, and macrostructure levels. The micro structure level looks at the local meaning of the news text from the choice of diction, sentence structure, and rhetoric. Then, the super structure level examines the news scheme, consisting of introduction, content and conclusion. Furthermore, macro structural analysis tries to see the global meaning of news texts by looking at news topics and the surrounding social context. The results of the study show that the Israel and Palestine conflict is not only due to the conflict of one of the group carrying out the attack. But at the same time it was also caused by hard conflict news, there was trauma to the victims in the conflict, as well as the global security conditions still not stable until now.

Influencer Credibility And Instagram Users' Purchase Interest 影响者可信度与 Instagram 用户的购买兴趣

This research aims to determine the level of relationship between beauty influencer Tasya Farasya’s credibility, as well as its three indicators: trustworthiness, expertiseness, and attractiveness, with her follower’s purchase interest on the Instagram social media account @tasyafarasya for Somethinc’s skincare products. The population in this study is 6.3 million followers of the @tasyafarasya account, from which a sample of 135 respondents was then taken using slovin formula. The data in this research was obtained through a survey method by distributing questionnaires via Google Form, then the data was analyzed using the Pearson’s Correlation Product Moment test. The research results show that there is a significant and strong level of the correlation between Beauty Influencer Tasya Farasya’s credibility and her follower’s purchase interest on the Instagram account @tasyafarasya for Somethinc skincare products, which is proven by the Sig. value is 0,000 (p < 0,05) and the correlation coefficient is 0,73 (0,60 – 0,79: Strong correlation; high). This research contributes to proving that the use of influencers is a significant strategy in marketing products in digital media, as is true in conventional media

Abstract: The development of media is now increasingly rapid, information, entertainment and so on are increasingly accessible. However, in this digital era, television media still exists and is still quite popular with the public. The influence of television shows can be seen in children, one of them is early childhood where they can get new vocabulary from the shows they watch. with the right assistance, of course, this will have a positive impact on children. Assistance can also be done if parents, especially mothers, understand the importance of media literacy. The purpose of this research is to find out the knowledge of housewives in Cisumur Village about why mentoring children when watching television is very important, then how the mentoring process is carried out. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The descriptive qualitative approach is intended to reveal and describe how media literacy is helpful in selecting television programs for housewives. The results of this study indicate that the knowledge of housewives about why it is important to accompany children when watching television is quite good, and can practice or realize this knowledge so that there is a mentoring process carried out. However, mothers have not been able to make rules for viewing schedules, so that many of their children whose daily lives are only occupied with watching television.

Prahara Digital Labor dalam Bingkai Penafsiran Logika Waktu Pendek dan Kapitalisme Luwes 解读短时逻辑和灵活资本主义框架下的数字劳动

When the COVID-19 pandemic gradually subsided, digital disruption was considered a game changer for today's work, such as work from home (WFH). The prevalence of digital disruption in contemporary work has triggered the birth of a digital labor class, which broadly impacts intra- and inter-organizational communication, especially in dealing with work-related risks in an increasingly insecure labor market. In a macro context like this, digital labor within neoliberal higher education institutions became an interesting phenomenon, especially given the worsening conditions of intellectual workers and changes in academic behavior and practices. A recent study showed many practices violating academic integrity in Indonesian higher education institutions, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, improper claims of authorship, contract-cheating, and other violations of professional codes of ethics. To address these problems, the author employed a critical method of the political economy of communication and the sociology of work to analyze 'short-time logic' as an operational mechanism in flexible capitalism, commoditizing workers' time by blurring the boundaries between productive and leisure time and turning the illusion of worker autonomy into a 'sustained contestation.' The 'short time logic' of flexible capitalism deformed intellectual workers in higher education in Indonesia into digital labor because they were constantly conditioned to produce intellectual products with highly competitive metrics but lacking reflection and meaningfulness, which sharpened the gaps in competency-based inequalities and created a new hierarchy of social classes in higher education.

Representasi Pelanggaran Kode Etik Jurnalistik pada Serial Drama Korea HUSH 韩国电视剧《HUSH》中违反新闻伦理准则的表现形式

The journalistic code of ethics, which is the heart of journalistic products and is a beacon in the world of journalism, is in fact still very vulnerable to being violated. This research aims to determine forms of violation of the journalistic code of ethics, not only based on the Indonesian journalistic code of ethics, but also using the journalistic code of ethics of South Korea, the country where this drama series originates. This research was conducted on the Korean drama series HUSH which aired in 2019 with 16 episodes. The author uses the Indonesian Press Council's journalistic code of ethics and the South Korean Press Code of Ethics to analyze the violations. Apart from that, the causes and consequences of violations of the journalistic code of ethics that occur can also be found. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with the Pierce model of semiotic approach. The research results showed that: (1) there were 5 cases that showed violations of the journalistic code of ethics. (2) the cause of the violation of the journalistic code of ethics was discovered, namely the existence of a special relationship between the high-ranking officials involved in the case and the leader of the Korean Daily, as well as considering that accepting bribes by people who work in the field of journalism is considered a normal thing.

This research was conducted on the Korean drama series HUSH which aired in 2019 with 16 episodes. The author uses the Indonesian Press Council's journalistic code of ethics and the South Korean Press Code of Ethics to analyze the violations. The development of technology and communication is currently growing very rapidly. The use of communication in various fields has developed, one of which is in the field of tourism to carry out tourism promotion. The Central Lombok Regency Tourism and Culture Office has digital communication media in the form of a website and Instagram called Go Mandalika. The focus of this research is to see the effect of exposure to article content on the Go Mandalika website and Instagram on the level of tourist knowledge about tourism in Central Lombok Regency. This study uses explanatory quantitative methods using simple linear regression. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires online (google form) via instagram, whatsApp, and kudata.id to 100 respondents. The research sampling technique used simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that exposure to article content has a positive effect on the tourist knowledge variable by 59.6%. Based on data analysis in this study, Instagram is the digital media that has the most influence on the level of knowledge of tourists and also Instagram is more frequently visited to find information about tourism in Central Lombok Regency.

The West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) Tourism Office is a government agency that manages all tourism activities in the NTB area. The NTB Dispar has implemented a strategy in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and during this pandemic there have been many changes in people's lives. In this study, the researcher discusses the communication strategy process implemented by the NTB Dispar in 2021, especially the strategy in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic by focusing on one tourism destination that is currently global, namely the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that in an effort to increase tourist visits in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Dispar NTB implements a tourism communication strategy through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation in the form of identifying the target audience, determining communication goals, designing messages, choosing communication channels. , allocate the total budget and determine the promotion mix so that it can increase the number of tourist visits to NTB and can improve the community's economy.

This research aims to explore the experiences of the Sukasari community in using information technology. The study was conducted in the village of Sukasari, Air Periukan District, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu. The research method used in this study is action research or participatory action research (PAR). This method is considered appropriate because it can analyze and evaluate barriers and opportunities through multidisciplinary expertise to gather information and make decisions according to the needs of the community. The results show that the Sukasari community has a general understanding of social media utilization because all the actors in the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) Sukasari have social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, which they use for communication and interaction. However, the Sukasari village community also faces several challenges in the implementation of social media, such as internet accessibility, lack of understanding in creating engaging content, relationship issues, and the quality of human resources in managing social media as a means of promoting the village's potential. The Sukasari village community requires training focused on enhancing the community's skills in social media management, including content creation strategies, finding creative ideas, photo and video editing, caption creation, and even understanding the appropriate social media algorithms to create engaging and marketable social media content.

This research aims to explain the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth contained in the lyrics of the song "Sun Goes Down" by Lil Nas The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The technique used in this research uses data analysis techniques by analyzing the verses in the song "Sun Goes Down" by Lil Nas X contains an expression of feelings of despair where he is no longer strong enough to continue living. The next meaning is connotation, the connotation meaning contained in the song is a motivation or encouragement that is obtained to continue living, where we must not just give up on the situation. The final meaning is myth, the meaning of myth contained in the song is a statement "Strangers make you feel so loved, you know?" which means that someone we don't know in real life can actually make us feel very loved, thus giving us encouragement to keep living.
