A qualidade fi siologica de sementes de Myrsine parvifolia A. DC. foi avaliada a partir de unidades de dispersao recem-colhidas e posteriormente armazenadas por 360 dias em câmara fria seca (cfs) (17 oC  ± 2oC e ≈ 45% UR) e em câmara fria umida (cfu) (5 oC  ± 2oC e ≈ 80% UR). Todos os testes de emergencia de plântulas foram conduzidos em Casa de Vegetacao, onde as variacoes de temperatura e umidade do ar eram ditadas pelo ambiente externo. As sementes recem-colhidas apresentaram 43,4% de teor de agua (Ta) e 86% de germinacao (G); sementes armazenadas em cfs, ao longo do experimento sofreram uma reducao de cerca de 75% do Ta inicial, sem, no entanto, perderem a viabilidade. As sementes mantidas em cfs e em cfu, ao longo dos 360 dias do experimento, mantiveram a viabilidade, entretanto, observou-se uma gradual reducao na germinacao de 86% para 64%. Quanto a tolerância a dessecacao, as sementes desta especie apresentaram comportamento intermediario.

Morfoanatomia e biometria seminal de cinco espécies de Cattleya Lindl. ( Orchidaceae ) 5种卡特莱亚种子的形态解剖学和生物特征分析。(兰科)

Nas especies Cattleya bicolor Lindl., C. loddigesii Lindl., C. lundii (Rchb. f. &Warm.) Van den Berg, C. purpurata Lindl.e C. tigrina A. Rich, existem difi culdades de delimitacao morfologica e incertezas quanto a sua taxonomia. Este estudo teve por objetivo caracterizar morfobiometricamente sementes das cinco especies no intuito de apontar caracteristicas uteis a taxonomia do genero. Sementes maduras oriundas de autopolinizacoes manuais foram coletadas de capsulas em inicio de deiscencia e submetidas a desidratacao em serie etilica, coloracao com a mistura de safranina e azul de astra modifi cada e analisadas em microscopia optica. Os resultados demonstraram que C. lundii difere das demais especies por apresentar coloracao seminal amarelo-ouro. A analise apontou semelhancas morfologicas entre C. loddigesii e C. lundii e entre C. bicolor e C. tigrina . Os caracteres morfologicos analisados sao muito semelhantes entre as especies.

Alysicarpus ovalifolius (Fabaceae, Desmodieae) , a new record for the flora of Brazil 文章标题巴西植物区系新记录——卵形蕨(豆科,松苔科)

Alysicarpus ovalifolius (Schumach. & Thonn.) J. Leonard is a legume species used as forage plant, which is originally native to Africa but today has a pantropical distribution. This species is probably expanding its distribution in the neotropics and therefore can be considered a potentially invasive species. In Brazil, the only species of Alysicarpus Neck. ex Desv. hitherto recorded was A. vaginalis (L.) DC., which is also non-native in the Americas. This study presents the fi rst account of the occurrence and distribution of A. ovalifolius in Brazil, including notes on its taxonomic status and potential invasiveness. Brazilian specimens of A. ovalifolius had been so far misidentifi ed as A. vaginalis. We also present here the fi rst records of the genus Alysicarpus in Santa Catarina state, southern Brazil, and provide an identifi cation key to the two species of Alysicarpus that occur in Brazil.

Methods for controlling natural regeneration of Japanese raisintree ( Hovenia dulcis Thunb.) in Araucaria forest 槐林日本葡萄干自然再生控制方法研究

This study investigates methods for controlling Hovenia dulcis natural regeneration. The experiment was conducted in Sao Joao do Triunfo, PR, using randomized blocks with three treatments (control - A, root removal - B and base cut - C) and fi ve replications. Number of seedlings, saplings and small trees were recorded at the beginning, 60, 120 and 180 days after treatment. A high number of seedlings were observed, but over time mortality became evident regardless of treatment. Root removal reduced the number of seedlings when compared to base cut. Root removal diff ered statistically from the control and base cut treatments. Base cut did not diff er statistically from the control. Root system plays an important role in survival and regrowth of juveniles of the target species. Root removal prevents regrowth and survival based on natural regeneration. By its attributes, this species may be considered a relevant alien invasive tree in the Araucaria Forest.

Durante os estudos morfologicos e moleculares em Stachytarpheta, foram analisados protologos, colecoes e imagens tipo em alta resolucao depositados em diversos herbarios. A analise destes materiais nos levou a designar lectotipos para S.  occinea Schauer e S. maximiliani Schauer e um sinonimo da primeira especie. A designacao desses lectotipos sao importantes para o entendimento da delimitacao do genero.

O levantamento de Arecaceae no litoral piauiense evidenciou seis especies, das quais cinco sao nativas ( Astrocaryum vulgare Mart., Copernicia prunifera (Mill.) H.E.Moore, Euterpe oleracea Mart., Mauritia flexuosa L.f. e Orbignya martiana Barb.Rodr.) e uma subespontânea ( Elaeis guineensis N. J. Jacquin). Copernicia prunifera e Orbignya martiniana sao as unicas especies endemicas. As especies mais frequentes foram C. prunifera , A. vulgare e M. flexuosa. C. prunifera e a mais utilizada pela comunidade local, explorada principalmente devido ao po cerifero que produz, garantindo a renda de muitas familias do Municipio de Ilha Grande. Astrocaryum vulgare , Elaeis guineensis e Euterpe oleracea sao registros novos para o Estado do Piaui. Chave para identifi cacao dos taxons, descricoes e informacoes sobre as potencialidades de uso das especies sao apresentados.

Aquatic macrophyte flora of coastal lakes in Santa Catarina, southern Brazil 巴西南部圣卡塔琳娜沿海湖泊的水生大型植物区系

Aquatic macrophytes are representative fl ora elements of diverse wetland environments. They play several roles in aquatic ecosystems and are components of paramount importance in maintaining the dynamic and quality of these environments. For coastal lakes, where most aquatic macrophyte studies have been conducted, fl oristic surveys are continuously increasing, resulting in more knowledge about these species. This study sought to increase what is known about aquatic macrophytes by inventorying the biodiversity of these plants in three coastal lakes in the cities of Florianopolis (Lake Pequena), Imbituba (Lake Doce) and Ararangua (Lake Azul), Santa Catarina. A total of 112 aquatic macrophyte species were identifi ed, including 76 species for Lake Pequena, 50 for Lake Doce and 52 for Lake Azul. Among the most representative families, Cyperaceae (24 species), Poaceae (10) and Onagraceae (eight) are notable.

They play several roles in aquatic ecosystems and are components of paramount importance in maintaining the dynamic and quality of these environments. For coastal lakes, where most aquatic macrophyte studies have been conducted, fl oristic surveys are continuously increasing, resulting in more knowledge about these species. This study sought to increase what is known about aquatic macrophytes by inventorying the biodiversity of these plants in three coastal lakes in the cities of Florianopolis (Lake Pequena), Imbituba (Lake Doce) and Ararangua (Lake Azul), Santa Catarina. A total of 112 aquatic macrophyte species were identifi ed, including 76 species for Lake Pequena, 50 for Lake Doce and 52 for Lake Azul. This is the fi rst taxonomic study of the family Araceae in the state of Piaui, Northeast Brazil. The survey was conducted in four coastal municipalities (Ilha Grande, Luiz Correia, Cajueiro da Praia and Parnaiba) of the state. Eight species were recorded in six genera: Lemna aequinoctialis Welw., L. valdiviana Phil., Montrichardia linifera (Arruda) Schott, Pistia stratiotes L ., Wolffiella lingulata (Hegelm.) Hegelm., W. oblonga (Phil.) Hegelm., Taccarum ulei Engl. & K. Krause and Spathicarpa gardneri Schott. Of these, two are geophytes (T. ulei, S. gardneri ) and the others are aquatic macrophytes. Descriptions, illustrations, phenology and habitat information are given for each species as well as a key to their identifi cation.

Antiproliferative and genotoxic potential from extracts and fractions of Richardia brasiliensis Gomes ( Rubiaceae ) by the Allium cepa L. test system 利用葱属植物试验系统研究巴西理查菌提取物和馏分的抗增殖和基因毒性

The medicinal species Richardia brasiliensis Gomes has secondary metabolites with considerable pharmacological activities. This study aims to determine the antiproliferative and genotoxic capacity of extracts and fractions obtained from the aerial parts of R. brasiliensis , in the Allium cepa test, on which one can detect the damages on chromosomes and the infl uence on cell proliferation during the mitotic cycle. The antiproliferative and genotoxic eff ect from extracts and fractions were evaluated at concentrations of 10 and 500 µg/mL and the mitotic index (MI) and the percentage of chromosomal alterations (CA) were calculated and used on the χ² test. It was observed antiproliferative capacity, the best results were from the autumn crude extract, and the hexane and butanol fractions with lower MI than the negative control. All treatments were genotoxic with CA, but with lower values than the ones found in the positive control.

Se describe e ilustra Matelea atrolingua Morillo, Morais et Farinaccio, una nueva especie de Apocynaceae ( Asclepiadoideae , Gonolobinae ) de las veredas de Goias, en el centro de Brasil. La nueva especie difi ere de todas las especies conocidas del genero por tener lobulos corolinos incurvos, notablemente bullados y purpura oscuro por la cara adaxial, y margen basal de la corona profundamente dentado, con la mayoria de los dientes anchos y truncos.
本研究的目的是描述和说明在巴西中部的Goias¿s veredas中发现的一种新的罗盘科植物(Asclepiadoideae, Gonolobinae) Matelea atrolingua Morillo, Morais et Farinaccio。新种不同于所有已知的属种,它有弯曲的花冠小叶,明显的大泡和深紫色的正面,和深齿冠的基部边缘,与大多数宽和截短的牙齿。
