Impact of Occupational Stress on Job Burnout with the Moderating Role of Psychological Capital and Social Support. 职业压力对工作倦怠的影响:心理资本和社会支持的调节作用。

The medical field is quite challenging as employees have to work day and night under extreme pressure and long and irregular working hours. This work pressure and exhaustion lead to occupational stress. Occupational stress, when unaddressed, leads to burnout which severely affects the physical and mental health of females in the medical field. This study investigates the relationship between occupational stress and job burnout on a sample of female medical staff working in the public health sector with the moderating role of psychological capital and social support between the relationship of occupational stress and job burnout. The research comprises a sample of 250 female medical employees that are working in public hospitals of the twin cities of Pakistan Results show that occupational stress causes job burnout, and psychological capital moderates the relation between occupational stress and job burnout. The three dimensions of psychological capital, namely, self-efficacy, resilience, and Hope, moderate the relation while optimism does not moderate the relationship. Results also show that family support acts as a moderator between stress and burnout, but supervisory support does not moderate the relationship. This study highlights that coping strategies help medical health workers in dealing with stress and burnout. In addition, family support plays an essential role in minimizing the stress of female health workers. Therefore, the administration of hospitals should arrange training to enhance the psychological capital of their health workers to keep them stress-free and ultimately efficient in their work.

Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Knowledge Management: A Review of the Literature and Conceptual Framework 企业资源规划系统与知识管理:文献综述与概念框架

This article provides a comprehensive review of the literature published in various articles dated back to 1998 on the role of Knowledge Management (KM) in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This article follows the literature published in this context focusing on two basic themes: KM supporting the ERP systems and KM integration into the ERP system. All the articles published on the relationship between KM and ERP systems published since 1998 were searched. Articles were sorted out on the basic themes they addressed. Most of the work on the role of KM in ERP systems was grouped into two main categories depending on the research subject matter. Integration of ERP systems being one of these basic themes was further investigated, enlisting all possible research articles published so far. Literature review on the KM and ERP relationship can be concludes that despite different relationships explored in the literature, KM has a vital role to play in the success of the ERP system. It is one of the critical success factors which complements the ERP systems to the extent that its absence will diminish the very essence, that is the adaption of ERP systems for the companies signified by the competitive advantage, market agility, and organization efficiency.

Influence of Personality Traits on Organization Identification (Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Punjab). 人格特质对组织认同的影响(旁遮普省畜牧和乳制品发展部)。

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between personality traits and personal identification in the organization. The study used random sampling technique to collect data from 1277 employees. The results showed that there exists a positive relationship between personality traits and identification of organization; workers having agreeableness and conscientiousness traits tend to have more identification with their organization, while neurotic workers showed negative association. However, differences were seen in male and female samples concerning perceived organizational identification with minor variation. The study concludes that individuals possessing agreeable and conscientious traits are more advantageous for the high level of organizational identification, irrespective of gender differences.

Strengthening the Performance of SMEs Through knowledge management, Market Orientation and Competitive Environment 通过知识管理、市场导向和竞争环境提升中小企业绩效

This study aims to propose a framework for strengthening the performance of SMEs. It was identified that knowledge management, market orientation, competitive environment and access to finance are some of the effective tools employed by SMEs against large firms for their survival. A model was developed with the help of extensive literature review, thereby identifying the gaps to come up with four propositions. All four of these propositions were exhibited with a graphical model. The findings of this study suggest that Knowledge Management and Market Orientation have a strong association with SMEs Performance. The model further proposes that Access to Finance and Competitive Environment serve as a contingency between Knowledge Management and Market Orientation with SMEs Performance. This study significantly adds to the entrepreneurship literature and proposes a framework that has not been tested before. The theoretical model has a wider applicability and it can be used in any cultural context but it can prove more helpful in emerging economies.

Does Critical Success Factors of KM Mediate the KS-Driven Performance in the Software Sector of Pakistan? 知识管理的关键成功因素是否对巴基斯坦软件行业的知识管理驱动绩效起到中介作用?

This research tends to investigate role of KS practices on overall performance of software sector using critical success factors of KM (i.e. KM process and infrastructure capabilities) as intermediate measures. In this regard, a survey method using the adapted instrument to draw the inference from data collected from software developers.  The parallel multiple mediation model proposed and tested by using Process Macro. The findings of study reveal that KS practices have a significant and positive effect on the overall performance in terms of operational excellence, financial achievement, customer intimacy, product leadership. The results indicate that all the constructs of KM process and infrastructure capabilities partially mediates the relationship between KS practices and performance of software sector. Hence, findings of study support all the suggested hypotheses and draws the inference that KM process and infrastructure capabilities support the theoretical prisms of KBV initiatives.

An Empirical Examination of E-Government Virtual Services: Mediating Role of Users’ Perceived Usefulness 电子政务虚拟服务的实证研究:用户感知有用性的中介作用

Government websites are the repository of information where citizens can timely access substantial and reliable information. It is normal to find antagonism between formulators and users of e-government virtual services (EGS). This study is designed to assess the quality of virtual services provided by Pakistani government websites. Data is collected from 278 university graduates using simple random sampling technique. Results of Smart PLS show that the survey respondents exhibit positive attitude towards perceived system quality (PSQ) and perceived information quality (PIQ) of the websites. They also perceive e-government websites useful and display their satisfaction to e-government virtual services. Finally, findings provide support to mediating role of users’ perceived usefulness (UPU). Policymakers and practitioners can take advantage of the findings to design more citizen centered government websites to optimize their satisfaction with mandatory services.

Cyberloafing is becoming a common problem in every organization that directly affects organizational productivity. In this study we are going to study the influence of abusive supervision on cyberloafing, further, we are studying the mediating effect of emotional exhaustion generated due to abusive supervision behaviour, motivating employees towards cyberloafing. The data were collected from 150 employees working in Saif Textile Mills Ltd & Kohat Textile Mills Ltd, Pakistan through questionnaires. The study sample was drawn using a convenience sampling technique. This study used SPSS 25 and process Hayes (2013) model 4 for data analysis and for model fitness we used CFA (AMOS 22). The data findings demonstrate that abusive supervision significantly and positively affects cyberloafing and also emotional exhaustion mediates this relation significantly. Therefore we conclude that abusive supervision is the main factor for employees to be exhausted and ultimately move towards cyberloafing. Based on these finding managers plays a vital role to maintain organization environment friendly.

The data findings demonstrate that abusive supervision significantly and positively affects cyberloafing and also emotional exhaustion mediates this relation significantly. Therefore we conclude that abusive supervision is the main factor for employees to be exhausted and ultimately move towards cyberloafing. The aim of this study is to propose a model for understanding consumer attitude towards online banking regard to recent demonetization in India. The popular consumer behavior models like theory of planned behavior, theory of reasoned action and technology acceptance model are reviewed for developing the proposed model in this study. The dependent factor in the proposed model is consumer attitude towards online banking and independent factors are demonetization knowledge, convenience, social status and convenience. The items for the proposed constructs in the proposed model are given in this paper. Human beings are constantly thriving for security and satisfaction in every aspect of their life. We, being socially dependent on each other, have to rely on others as much as ourselves for fulfillment of these needs, because that is the environment we have been brought up in. An aspectthat has existed always yet surfaced majorly due to recent hit of COVID-19 pandemic and which needs to be addressed is the sense of professional security and how it affects the employees’ action and an organization as its result. Moonlighting, a practice of working a second job outside normal business hours, is one such phenomenon that tends to take place due to job insecurity, want of more income and dissatisfaction.The question ishow it affects the employee and the employer. If dissected from an employee’s point of view, he is surviving and dependent on a highly volatile environment and more so, recently. Such a level of uncertainty is always a trigger that leads one to moonlight and search for jobs apart from their primary jobs in order to earn more money, secure himself and his family. Furthermore, as said earlier, every employee is constantly looking for security and satisfaction from the employer in terms of motivation, assurance, career development, skill enhancement and acknowledgment. Lack of all these elements from the organization one is working for, can cause the employees to search for alternative paths where he might achieve this.

People manager is not a designation or position. It is an attitude to keep an eye on the quality of the mindset of the people. Managing people well is extremely important to achieve goals and objectives at workplace. People management skills can be acquired through experience and observation. Theses kills are positively affected by the attitudes and personalities that the managers develop and apply. This review article presents the essence of people management. While the viewpoints of the human resource management across different levels have been observed, the main skills required for effective people management have also been discussed. The role of social psychology at work is also becoming increasingly important for the people managers especially with the arrivals of the Millennials at workplace and the ongoing new normal where most of the employees worldwide are connected virtually with each other as well as with their leaders.
