On q2-Trigonometric Functions and Their q2-Fourier Transform 关于q2三角函数及其q2傅立叶变换

In this paper, we first construct generalized $q^2$-cosine, $q^2$-sine and $q^2$-exponential functions. We then use $q^2$-exponential function in order to define and investigate a $q^2$-Fourier transform. We establish $q$-analogues of inversion and Plancherel theorems.

Estimation of Cancer Progression Based Clinical Trial Subgroups 基于癌症进展的临床试验亚组评估

Cancer trials often start investigational therapy at diagnosis or after a selected number of relapses. These are the usual core inclusion criteria in clinical trials. Hence it is helpful when planning a trial to know the likely percentages of patients receiving standard therapy at clinics and hospitals who meet this key inclusion criteria of being newly diagnosed during a period or having just had their first, second or third relapse during an anticipated enrollment time frame. Often regulatory agencies will have approvals tied to the use of a therapy in a relapsed context or in a newly diagnosed context. We provide details on calculations to help those in clinical trial operations make realistic assessments on the number of sites and likely enrollment at clinical trial sites, and the enrollment time frames that might be needed to complete planned total patient enrollment. The estimates complement site feasibility questionnaires which are often sent to gauge patient availability and site interest.

The Theoretical Foundations for Solving Typical Geometrical Problems in Engineering 解决工程中典型几何问题的理论基础

In the present work the analysis of the basic methods for solving typical geometrical engineering problems is made. The basic problem is revealed and the first-level tasks of its solution are defined. A general algorithm for solving typical geometrical problems in the form of standardized logical blocks is offered. The general algorithm for the solution of typical geometrical problems is discussed, taking into account the iterative nature of the proposed methods. The introduced formal general algorithm allows students to master their skills of independent work. Practical engineers can use the developed general approach for solving new difficult real-world problems. Synthesized general algorithm, as the main contribution to geometry, allows, on deductive basis—“from the general to quotient”, to teach and study engineering geometry.

Official Statistics as Clickbait—The New Threat in the Post-truth Society? 作为点击诱饵的官方统计——后真相社会的新威胁?

The aim of this paper is to raise awareness on the consequences of dissemination of official statistics through online media that uses clickbait headlines to generate traffic. In order to tackle on this issue, a Natural Language Processing (NLP) model was developed in order to distinguish the clickbait headline from the non-clickbait one when it comes to articles presenting information from the Bulgarian National Statistical Institute press releases. The yielded results are rather satisfactory as the parts-of-speech features model achieved an accuracy for 92% of the cases.

Problem of search of universal system of formalization the knowledge is discussed. Philisophical, mathematical, cybernetic and computing aspects of its problem are analyzed. Foundation of polymetrical analysis as variant of resolution of this problem is represented. We show that this system allowed resolving S. Beer centurial problem in cybernetics. Also it allowed creating the natural (operational) approach in the foundation of mathematics and system concept of computing science.

The purpose of this study is to identify the use (or not) of diagrams when solving problems of multiplicative comparison in eighth-grade students of the Rafael Antonio Moreno secondary school located in Macaracas, province of Los Santos-Panama. The methodology used is mixed and descriptive with a non-experimental design. As an instrument, a written test consisting of two parts (part a and part b) is prepared, which is applied to eighth-grade students who take the mathematics subject of said study center.

Reconstructed Elzaki Transform Method for Delay Differential Equations with Mamadu-Njoseh Polynomials 含Mamadu-Njoseh多项式的时滞微分方程的重构Elzaki变换方法

One of the solution techniques used for ordinary differential equations, partial and integral equations is the Elzaki Transform. This paper is an extension of Mamadu and Njoseh [1] numerical procedure (Elzaki transform method (ETM)) for computing delay differential equations (DDEs). Here, a reconstructed Elzaki transform method (RETM) is proposed for the solution of DDEs where Mamadu-Njoseh polynomials are applied as basis functions in the approximation of the analytic solution. Using this strategy, a numerical illustration as in Ref.[1] is provided to the RETM as a basis for comparison to guarantee accuracy and consistency of the method. All numerical computations were performed with MAPLE 18 software.

A 3D Finite Radon Transform 一种三维有限Radon变换

The present work is devoted to the development of the extension of FRT (Finite Radon Transform) to the tridimensional case. One simple formulation is proposed and it is shown that it is the exact discretization of the continuous Discrete Radon Transform. More precisely this is the case when the sampling is given on a regular grid i.e. the continuous function is filtered by the mean of the box function. Relation of this transform with the Discrete Fourier one is given and is for some help in numerical implementation.

Detecting nonlinear dynamics using BDS test and surrogate data in financial time series 利用BDS检验和金融时间序列中的代理数据检测非线性动力学

Physicists experimentalists use many observations of a phenomenon, which are the unknown equations that describe it, in order to understand the dynamics and obtain information on their future behavior. In this article we study the possibility of reproducing the dynamics of the phenomenon using only a measurement scale. The Whitney immersion theorem ideas are presented and generalization of Sauer for fractal sets to rebuild the asymptotic behavior of the phenomena and to investigate evidence of nonlinear dynamics in the reproduced dynamics using the Brock, Dechert, Scheinkman test (BDS). The applications are made in the financial market which are only known stock prices.
