In this paper, the numerical model of electromagnetic wave multiple interactions with discrete inhomogeneities chaotically disposed in the stratified media, which contained the semitransparent disks is developed. The method of solving this problem is based on the stochastic modeling of wave interaction with random discrete media. Circuital and electromagnetic performances of planar microstrip spiral inductors for wireless applications 无线应用的平面微带螺旋电感的电路和电磁性能

A full-wave FDTD analysis of a class of planar circular spiral inductors is presented. A locally conformal FDTD scheme is employed to analyze the circuital behavior and the spurious emission of inductors realized on a substrate of finite dimensions. Since the adopted model includes all the losses mechanisms taking place in the dielectric and metallic regions as well as the radiation phenomena due to the excitation of surface and volume waves it allows modeling accurately the relevant dynamic processes responsible for the structure behavior. The numerical results show that the circuital performances and the level of the radiated emission are significantly influenced by the inductor geometry as well as by the materials forming the structure

Algorithm for currents reconstruction using the FFT iterative method and a lattice of the spectrum 电流重构算法采用FFT迭代法和晶格谱法

The knowledge of the equivalent currents of an antenna could become one of the most important aspects during its design process. This information can be obtained by knowing the currents obtained from the radiated field of the antenna. As this is usually measured in the near field region, is necessary to obtain a relationship between near field and equivalent currents. Basically, the process described in a previous paper obtains the far field from the near field measurements and with this far field calculates the plane wave spectrum. If this process is followed the maximum resolution achievable is 1 lambda. The reason for such a poor resolution is the use of only the visible spectrum. However, we need this non-visible spectrum to achieve a better resolution. For this reason we propose in this paper the combination of two techniques to obtain the non-visible spectrum. These techniques are the fft iterative method and the second technique is using the lattice of the spectrum to improve results. The use of both increases considerably the resolution of the reconstruction

Antenna's shape optimization and reconstruction by level-set 3D 水平集三维天线形状优化与重构

The inverse scattering problem in electromagnetic is studied through the minimisation of the functional Jscr = frac12 intthetas(|E-Eid|)2dgamma, where Eoarr is the solution of the classical exterior Maxwell problem, Eoarrid the measure of the electrical ideal field and thetas is a fixed region of the open domain Omega. Considering this inverse problem, we compute the shape derivative of the functional Jscr for a smooth surface using an original min max formulation. After solving the state problems and computing the shape gradient by the integral equation, we introduce the level set optimization method. This method, based on the implicit representation of the boundary of Omega t (where t is the evolution parameter) and the speed method, allows to reconstruct a homogenous surface triangular mesh at each iteration to decrease the value of the functional, notably performing several topological changes. We present here some original case of 3D reconstruction in full illumination and pure underconstrained configuration. We present notably the reconstruction of singular geometry. Finally we apply the techniques on a parabolic antenna and present the optimized diagram

A LTCC second order low-band pass filter with transmission line has been proposed in this paper. With the periodic property of the transmission line, the filter provides two transmission zeros at rejection area to enhance performance of the low-band pass filter. Active microwave breast cancer imaging using deformable mirror 利用可变形镜进行主动微波乳腺癌成像

A novel microwave technique employing a deformable membrane mirror is presented for imaging breast cancer. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the system. The deformable mirror compensates for the transceiver operation of the antenna and provides multi-view measurements for reconstruction by adaptively changing the mirror shape. The proposed system avoids issues with antenna switching and compensation and requires only a control circuit for the deformable mirror assembly

Design of Complementary UWB Printed Monopole Antennas using Simple Formulas 用简单公式设计互补超宽带印刷单极天线

Simple design formulas for designing ultra wideband (UWB) antennas in the form of complementary planar monopoles are described and their validity is tested using full electromagnetic wave simulations and measurements. Assuming dielectric substrate with relative permittivity of 10.2, the designed antennas feature a small size of 13 mmtimes26 mm. They exhibit a 10 dB return loss bandwidth from 3 to more than 15 GHz accompanied by near omnidirectional characteristics and good radiation efficiency throughout this band

In this paper, a CPW-fed UWB slot antenna using extremely thin substrate has been presented. Good bandwidth characteristics have been achieved and the radiation patterns are stable among different frequencies. According to measurement results, the paper-thin antennas are also found to have the potential to be used as wearable antennas or the vehicular antennas

A broadband microstrip-fed slot antenna is proposed for UHF applications. Its measured impedance bandwidth reaches 85.3% for VSWRles3, covering the frequency range from 390 MHz to 970 MHz. Backed by a cavity, the antenna achieves 5.5-7.5 dBi gain and has a compact structure, with the dimension of only 0.48lambda1 times 0.30lambda1 times 0.13lambda1 (lambda1 is the longest wavelength in the operating bandwidth)

This paper presents two parallel schemes of fast algorithms based on the parallel FFT. In the first scheme, the parallel FFT is applied to speed up multiplication of the impedance matrix and a vector directly. In the second scheme, the AIM is parallelized. To demonstrate the efficiency of the parallel schemes, electromagnetic scattering by a very large cylindrical wire array and a conducting sphere are computed
