We demonstrate a novel reconfigurable photonic RF filter which can achieve theoretically infinite Q factors. Single sinc-shape passband with Q = 634 and flat-top passband with Q = 76 are demonstrated experimentally when the passband center is tuned at 18 GHz .

We have investigated feasibility and limitations of 850nm VCSELs for 100GbE unretimed applications based on 4×25.78GBd signaling. We have shown traditional FFE/DFE based equalizer could overcome optical as well as electrical channel impairments.

We present a multi-flow virtual concatenation model in flexible spectrum networks. A split-multi-flow RSA algorithm (SMF) triggered by path cascading degree is proposed based on the model. Simulation results show SMF can get better performance.
