Colorless flexible signal generator for elastic networks and rapid prototyping 用于弹性网络和快速成型的无色柔性信号发生器

We experimentally demonstrate a flexible signal generator that can simultaneously generate arbitrary mixes of variable-bandwidth OFDM superchannels, and gridless WDM and OTDM channels. The device is based on reconfigurable multi-input pulse-shaping of data-modulated pulses.

We experimentally demonstrate a flexible method of generating wide bandwidth OFDM superchannels using a software-programmable wavelength selective switch to combine modulated pulses. We transmit 279 × 40 Gbit/s over 400 km as a proof of concept.

We propose a novel ant-based alternate routing algorithm in the flexible bandwidth networks. Simulation results show that our algorithm outperforms other traditional algorithms by achieving a much lower blocking probability.

We report the first demonstration and characterization of parametric amplification of a 640Gbit/s RZ-DPSK OTDM signal. With proper design of the fiber parametric amplifier, error-free amplification with less than 1 dB penalty has been achieved.
