The Effects of Forest Roads On Sediment Transport 森林道路对泥沙运移的影响

Sediment can be composed of all road elements. On soil roads, road surface erosion is generally the predominant source of sediment. The multifaceted impact of forest road construction on the environment is always a serious issue in terms of watershed management. Water quality of surface erosion caused by road construction and neglect, flow regime of streams, floods, formation of marshes, reduction of soil fertility and similar negative effects cause great economic losses and degradation of the landscape. The fact that the road routes travel along the valley floor or slope or pass through the ridges affects the sediment transport. The aim of this study was to investigate the road erosion and sediment models and the factors affecting them.

Farklı Deprem Özelliklerine Sahip Betonarme Bir Binanın TDY-2007 ve TBDY-2018 Yönetmeliklerine Göre Karşılaştırılması

Özet – Türkiye deprem bölgesi olan bir ülkedir. Bu sebeple deprem yönetmelikleri zamanla güncellenmektedir. 2019 yılı Ocak ayı ile birlikte Tbdy-2018 yürürlüğe girmiştir. Biz bu çalışmada yenilenen deprem yönetmeliğinin içeriğini 2007 yönetmeliği ile karşılaştırdık. Bununla birlikte statik proje çiziminde sıklıkla kullanılan iki farklı programda tasarımını yaptığımız bir binanın analizini yaptık ve sonuçlarını karşılaştırdık. Sonuçları hem hesap hem de metraj açısından inceledik.

Geriye Dönük Adım Akışında Adım Geometrisinin Isı Transferi ve Akış Yapısı Üzerindeki Etkisinin İncelenmesi

In many engineering applications such as gas turbine engines, burners, heating and cooling systems, separation and reattachment areas occur due to the backward-facing step flow. Control of these areas is very important to increase the amount of heat and mass transfer. In this study, in order to examine the effect of flow separation and reattachment, the heat transfer and flow characteristics of step corner structures with different chamfer lengths as h/4 and h/2 according to without chamfer (normal) geometry have been numerically researched in the vertically positioned backward-facing step flow geometry. One of the walls behind the backward-facing step has been kept at a constant temperature while the others are adiabatic. The results of the study have been obtained by solving conservation equations with three dimensional and steady k-ε turbulence model with Boussinesq approach using ANSYS-FLUENT computer program. Water and liquid sodium have been used as working fluids. Expansion rate of the backward-facing step is 1.5. The work has been performed at different Reynolds numbers as 5000 and 10000. The present study has been compared with the numerical results of the work found in the literature and it has been found that they are compatible and acceptable with each other. The results have been presented as the variations of Nu number, fluid temperature, turbulence kinetic energy and pressure. In addition, temperature, velocity and streamline distributions have been visualized in backward-facing step flow geometry. For Re=5000, the average Nu number value of the step geometry without chamfer (normal) in the liquid sodium flow has been determined to be 9% higher than the backward-facing step geometry with h/2 chamfer length.

In recent years, thanks to advances in technology, studies on location-based systems have increased. Satellite-based positioning systems cannot penetrate the building because the signals from the satellites are weak. In an indoor positioning system, the type of signal used and the type of measurement significantly affect the performance of the system. For this reason, global positioning systems in closed spaces do not perform adequately and this situation reveals the necessity of alternative indoor positioning systems. Indoor positioning; It is needed today in many areas such as the location of individuals or an object in indoor spaces such as airports, shopping malls, business centers, hospitals, universities, courthouses, locating a vehicle parked in a parking lot, directing a visually impaired person indoors, and security applications. In this review, the methods used in current indoor positioning and the importance of indoor positioning are tried to be emphasized.

Design of Droop Controller in Microgrid Architectures 微电网体系结构中的下垂控制器设计

A microgrid is a power grid consists of distributed power generation units and loads. Microgrid is also a system that can operate in grid-connected mode and islanding (autonomous) mode. The control of distributed power generation units in microgrids is necessary for reliability and continuity of power grid. In this study, the droop control method which is widely used in the control of distributed power generation units in intelligent microgrids has been examined. The droop control method, which operates similarly to the primary frequency regulation system of the conventional power grid, does not have communication with other distributed generation units. In this study, the design steps of the droop controller which is designed in order that linearly considering the relationship between active power – frequency (P-f) and reactive power – voltage (Q-V) and regulating the deviations that occur have been examined in detail. The designed droop controller has been compared with voltage current control and hierarchical control methods.

Çok Katmanlı Algılayıcı Yapay Sinir Ağı Kullanarak Packman Oyununda Yapılan El Hareketlerinin Sınıflandırılması

Electromyography is a noninvasive method that allows measurement of biological markers as a result of muscle activity. It is used as surface and needle electromyography according to the application purpose in two ways. In this study, seven different hand gestures (hand rest, hand punch, wrist bend, radial and ulnar deviation of the wrist) made by the individuals in the packman game in the „UCI Machine Learning Repository‟ database with open access over the internet were measured by using the data set of surface electromyogram signals tried to be classified. For this purpose, firstly, feature is extracted from data by discrete wavelet transform. Then, the extracted features were classified using the multi-layered sensor artificial neural network approach, which is widely used in the literature. In the classification process, artificial neural network was trained using simple cross validation algorithm, the algorithm and performance of the classifier were realized with Matlab2017a program.. The performance of the classifier has been investigated for the division of the data set at different rates and for different number of intermediate layers. The optimum network topology is obtained when the data set is divided by 20% -80% and the number of interlayers is 18, the highest performance is obtained as 91.67%.
