Pedestrian and Vehicles Detection with ResNet in Aerial Images 基于ResNet的航拍图像行人和车辆检测

In today's applications, a significant increase in the use of deep learning algorithms is noticeable. The convolution neural network (CNN) of deep learning has been used frequently recently, especially for the successful discrimination of people and vehicles from other objects. Especially with the ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC) in 2012, the use of CNNs has become widespread. With the development of technology and traditional image processing techniques, the proses of image processing has been considerably reduced, furthermore, the success rate has increased dramatically. Object detection can be difficult due to the low resolution of objects in aerial images. In this study, a system which automatically recognizes human and different types of vehicles (cars, bicycles, motorcycles) from aerial images taken with drone has been developed. In the system, Residual Networks (ResNet) model, which is the first in the ImageNet competition of the CNN been one of the deep learning techniques, is used. Google Colaboratory with Nvidia Tesla K80 GPU support is used for successful and fast training and testing of the system. In the developed system, results are explained according to different threshold values of the objects detected from the images applied to the input.

A New Method for Diagnostics of Faults of Three-phase Squirrel Cage Asynchronous Motor 三相鼠笼式异步电动机故障诊断新方法

Asynhronous motors are the most widely used motors in the industry. They are found in every point of production lines since they are in a very advantageous structure. It is desirable to detect faults of these motors in a quick and easy way. In this article, the determination of rotor fault of asynchronous motors by acoustic measurements is investigated. Ac driver, motor breaking unit and microphone were used in the test circuit alongside a healty and faulty motor. Changes in the time domain using the matlab software, changes in the frequency domain were obtained by making fast fourier transform. FFT differences in sound files optained from operation in different speed and torque values of motors with rubost and broken rotor bar motors were detected and interpreted.

Jeneratör Üreten Bir Firmada Kabin Kaynak Hattının Simülasyon ile İyileştirme Çalışması

ÖzetSeri üretimin bir parçası da hat dengelemedir. Bir üretim hattında, her iş istasyonuna eşit miktarda iş dağılımı yapabilmek için hat dengeleme metodları kullanılır. İş istasyonlarına eşit iş dağılımı yapılmadığında bazı istasyonlarda boş süre kalacak bazı istasyonlarda ise çalışma süresi yeterli gelmeyecektir. Hat dengeleme ile mevcut iş gücünün etkin kullanılmasıyla üretim kapasitesinin arttırılması, üretimin standartlaştırılması ve üretim maliyetlerinin azaltılması sağlanacaktır. Hat dengeleme metodlarından biri de simülasyon uygulamasıdır. Simülasyon, sistemin mevcut durumunu tanımlar ve analiz eder. Mevcut durum için yapılabilecek iyileştirmelerin sonucunda sistemin nasıl bir davranış göstereceğini inceler. Karmaşık, büyük boyutlu imalat sistemlerinin incelenmesinde ve analizlerinde çoğunlukla simülasyon yöntemi kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada da jeneratör üreten bir firmanın kabin kaynak hattı iyileştirme çalışması yapılmıştır. Mevcut durum Promodel ile modellenmiş ve çıktılar değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirme sonucunda üretim hattının daha verimli kullanılabilmesi için öneriler getirilmiştir. Bu öneriler değerlendirilerek üretim sistemi tekrar kurulmuş ve çıktılar bir önceki sistemin çıktıları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Önerilerin iyileştirme oranları incelenmiş ve üretim sistemindeki etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Biyomalzeme Sektöründe Kullanılan Titanyum ve Alaşımları

Özet – Biyomalzemeler, canlı doku işlevlerinin yerine getirilmesi amacıyla kullanılan doğal ya da sentetik malzeme türleridir. Biyomalzemeler, biyolojik sistemlerle etkileşim halinde olan ve tıbbi cihaz amacıyla kullanılan cansız malzeme olarak adlandırılırlar. Malzeme biliminde geliştirilen yapay biyomalzemeler, seramikler, polimerler, metaller ve kompozitler olarak gruplandırılmaktadırlar. Biyomalzeme olarak tercih edilen metal ve alaşımları, metalik bağlarla kuvvetli bağlanmaları ve üstün mekanik özelliklerinden dolayı büyük öneme sahiptirler. Metalik biyomalzemelerden kemik ve çevresindeki dokulara, iyon salınması ile elektron akışı olmakta ve doku ile metalik biyomalzeme arasında korozyon olayı gerçekleşmektedir. Biyomalzeme alanında kullanılan metalik biyomalzemelerin vücutta herhangi bir olumsuz etki oluşturmadan işlevini yerine getirmesi, etrafındaki dokuların fonksiyonlarına engel olmaması ve iltihaplanma oluşturmaması, malzemenin biyouyumlu olması anlamına gelmektedir. Biyomalzeme olarak kullanılan titanyum ve alaşımlarının, düşük yoğunluğu, yüksek mukavemeti, düşük elastik modülü, yüksek korozyon direnci ve iyi biyouyumlu özellikleri tercih edilmelerinin en önemli sebepleridir. Titanyum ve alaşımlarının korozyon dayanımının yüksek olması ve vücut içerisinde stabil davranmasının sebebi, yüzeyindeki oksit tabakasındandır. Bu çalışmada, biyomalzeme sektöründe kullanılan titanyum ve alaşımları araştırılmıştır. Titanyum ve alaşımlarının biyouyumluluk ve mekanik özellikleri hakkında biyomalzeme imalatçılarına, uygulayıcılarına ve kullanıcılara bilgi verilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Inhibition and Antimicrobial Activity of Lavandula stoechas Essential Oil on Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans 薰衣草精油对大肠杆菌、金黄色葡萄球菌和白色念珠菌的抑制作用及抑菌活性研究

In the present study, the volatile compounds of essential oil of Lavandula stoechas L. (Lavender) was analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) using the Nist and Willey libraries. It was determined that the main components of L. stoechas were linalyl acetate (36.31%) and linalool (34.18%). Inhibition and antimicrobial activity of volatile oil of the plant against Escherichia coli (ATCC 25293), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC25925) and Candida albicans were examined by microbroth dilution method. L. stoechas EO (Essential Oil) exhibited antimicrobial activity with MIC of between 14.8 and 32.5 μg/mL. The lowest antimicrobial activity were determined against E. coli in L. stoechas EO (MIC= 32.5 μg/mL), while maximum MIC were noticed as 14.8 μg/mL against C. albicans. The most cell inhibition were noted as 91.76% in C. albicans at the concentration of 4500 μg/mL of L. stoechas. The reductions in living cell number were obtain as 0.54 log in E. coli, 1.04 log in S. aureus and 1.08 log in C. albicans at the same concentration of 4.5 μg/mL. This study showed the strong antimicrobial performance of L. stoechas EO in detail. This study showed that L. stoechas EO inhibits the growth of microorganisms depending on concentration.

Effect of Non-Gaussian Noise on Detection Performance of Multi-Stage Detectors 非高斯噪声对多级检测器检测性能的影响

It is well known that detection performances of conventional detection methods deteriorate under non-Gauss noise. This problem is also encountered in cognitive radio where impulsive nature of noise negatively affects spectrum sensing. Multistage detection techniques can be considered as a possible solution as they analyse signal samples using different detection techniques in a sequential manner. In this study, spectrum sensing performance of a multistage detection method is investigated for detection of a dynamic primary user signal contaminated by non-Gaussian noise. At first, observed signal samples are analysed by energy detector and an ensuing absolute value cumulation computation. Then, a decision as to whether the channel is in use or not is given based on the result of this analysis. Accordingly, if any one of those techniques detects the primary user signal, then the channel is assigned as busy.

Then, a decision as to whether the channel is in use or not is given based on the result of this analysis. MOEA/D Algoritmasının En Önemli İki Ayrıştırma Yöntemi Olan PBI ve TCH’ın Analizi

Özet – Günümüzde, birçok araştırmacı optimizasyon problemleri çözen algoritmaları geliştirme eğilimindedir. Gerçek dünya problemleri ise genelde birden çok amaca sahip oldukları için çok amaçlı optimizasyon problemleri üzerine geliştirilen algoritmalar trend olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, çok amaçlı optimizasyon algoritması olan Multi Objective Evulation Algorithm(MOEA/D) incelendi ve algoritma içerisinde yer alan ve genelde amaçların tek bir amaç olarak ifade edilmesini sağlayan en önemli iki metot Tchebycheff (TCH) ve Penalty-based Boundary Intersection (PBI) metotları iki ve üç amaçlı 11 benchmark(DTLZ ve ZDT ailesi) ile test edildi ve bu alanda en çok kullanılan Hypervolume(HV), Inverted Generation Distance(IGD) ve EPSİLON adında üç adet metrik ile bu sonuçlar kıyaslandı. Bu algoritmanın artıları ve eksileri öne çıkarıldı. Sonuçta MOEA/D hangi yöntem ile kullanılırsa daha verimli olacağı gösterilmiş oldu. Bilim her zaman üzerine koyarak ilerleyen bir gerçeklik olduğu için, bu çalışma MOEA/D üzerine çalışma yapacak araştırmacılara yön gösterici bir çalışma oldu.

On Some Properties of a Vector-Valued Function Space 关于向量值函数空间的一些性质

The study of various mathematical problems (such as elasticity, non-Newtonian fluids and electrorheological fluids) with variable exponent growth condition has been received considerable attention in recent years. These problems are interesting in applications and raise many difficult mathematical problems. There are also a lot of published papers in these spaces. Vector-valued Lebesgue spaces are widely used in analysis, abstract evolution equations and in the theory of integral operators. In this paper we recall the weighted vector-valued classical and variable exponent Lebesgue spaces. We define a intersection space of vector-valued weighted classical Lebesgue and variable exponent Lebesgue spaces. We discuss some basic properties, such as, Banach space, dense subspaces and Hölder type inequalities of these spaces. We will also show that every elements of vector-valued these spaces are locally integrable. Moreover, we investigate several embeddings and continuous embeddings properties of these spaces under some conditions with respect to exponents and two weight functions.

Design of Operating Routes of Wave Energy Powered Electric Cargo Ships in Red Sea 红海波浪能电货船航行航线设计

A theoretical design assessment performed here to evaluate the idea of utilizing wave energy in the Red sea to power electric-cargo ships, in the route between Port Sudan and Jeddah Islamic port. The calculated mean wave power in 2018 was (1.4 MW), five wave power stations was determined in the field depending on the travelling distance of ships batteries with depth of discharge 90% (75.01) km. The assessment used nine ships according to weekly-generated energy and suggested trips schedule (two trips per week). The battery-replacing technique used to exchange ships empty batteries with charged one to save the trip time, and a bunker fuel ship was assigned for batteries transporting between stations according to demand. The electric generation was individual without interconnecting cable between stations due to massive loss of that (16 MW). The calculated annual transported dry goods using this clean energy was 1.72 million ton. A brief economic analysis performed and concluded to start the project after 2020 with estimated annual profits 4.25 million dollar. The design found that it is promising to depend on wave power for supplying electric ships with energy, especially with the development in energy generation and storage technologies.
