Bipolar SHEPWM for Pure Sine Wave Single-Phase Inverter 纯正弦波单相逆变器双极SHEPWM

Modern power systems, like DC-AC inverters, use simple control strategies. However, they give rise to harmonic problems during the switching process. It impacts the total system performance.In this paper, Selective Harmonic Elimination SHEPWM was adopted to mitigate these undesirable harmonic distortions. It cancels odd harmonic at optimized switching angles. In this case, it aims to eliminate the first 100 low-order harmonics. The fsolve function was used to calculate the optimized 50 angles for the SHEPWM by solving the non-linear transcendental equations in MATLAB. The resulting SHEPWM is implemented in a low-cost high-performance PIC18F26K22 microcontroller. It controls a pure sine wave single-phase inverter in ISIS space. Finally, an LC low-pass filter is connected at the inverter output to ameliorate its response and obtain a better sinusoidal AC waveform with a lower THD.

Master-Slave Tracking of a Rigid Double-Side SDOF Impact Mechanical Oscillator Using Polyhedral Sets 基于多面体集的刚性双面SDOF冲击机械振荡器主从跟踪

This research study proposes a design methodology of a master-slave state-feedback controller based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) method for some class of complex robotic systems, which is the single degree-of-freedom (SDOF) impacting mechanical oscillator with two asymmetric rigid double-side constraints. To deal with the stabilization problem, we employ the S-procedure lemma that generates four bilinear matrix inequalities (BMIs). By virtue of the matrix inversion lemma and the Schur complement, these obtained BMIs are therefore transformed into LMIs. The results obtained by the simulation show that the slave mechanical impact oscillator is well controlled and hence track the desired trajectory of the master.

Harmonic Current Compensation Based on Three-phase Shunt Active Filter using Model Predictive Current Control 基于模型预测电流控制的三相并联有源滤波器谐波电流补偿

The increase use of non-linear devices introduces harmonics into electrical networks which cause distortion of current and voltage signals and damage the quality of electrical power. However, in electrical systems, the elimination of harmonics is a great importance. This paper presents an approach to remove harmonics, to reduce the total harmonic distortion and to improve the power factor in power distribution networks using shunt active power filters based on a robust controls as a model predictive control. In our study, we tested the conventional theory (p-q theory) to detect the harmonics present in the electrical system. In addition, for the DC link voltage control, the conventional regulator PI is used. The robustness of this proposed command is tested for three different non-linear load cases, also before and after filtering. The simulation results show that this control technique satisfies all standards with minimum current total Harmonic distortion.

A Decision Support Framework based on FCM for Selecting Key Performance Indicators 基于FCM的关键绩效指标选择决策支持框架

One of the main issues that firms encounter in building an effective performance measurement system (PMS) is selecting the most relevant performance indicators, often known as key performance indicators (KPI). These indicators should be chosen according to the company’s objectives, strategies, and key success factors. On the other hand, in a production system, KPIs are not independent and may have inherent interactions with each other. These interactions should be investigated and taken into account in the KPI selection process. The goal of this research is to present a decision support framework based on a Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM) for guiding decision-makers in the selection of KPI. The model is based on the idea that KPI may be assessed and chosen based on their impacts on the company’s strategic objectives. In addition, the model allows for the consideration of different causal interdependence between the KPI.

Simultaneous Estimation of Time Delays Systems 时滞系统的同时估计

This research proposes a gradient technique to identify, jointly, the parameters and the time delays of systems based on sampled data. The initial parameters values can be estimated using another algorithm. The proposed scheme uses a simultaneous procedure with the presence of a white noise. A numerical instance is proposed to confirm the effectiveness of the developed technique.

Improved LVRT/HVRT Capability Of DFIG Wind Turbine Using DVR 利用DVR提高DFIG风力机LVRT/HVRT性能

This paper proposes a method that improved the efficiency of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) in the case of network voltage imbalance. In the suggested configuration, a dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is combined in series to the terminal system allowing compensating two types of fault LVRT/HVRT. The DVR device has the ability to compensate the stator voltage by injecting the appropriate at the stator that leads to keeping the generator terminal voltage at the normal level and improving the fault ride-through (FRT) ability of DFIG. Simulations in MATLAB/Simulink for a DFIG are used to verify the efficiency of the suggested control method on both types of faults.

Position Control of Robotic Systems via an Affine PD-Based Controller: Comparison Between Two Design Approaches 基于仿射pd控制器的机器人系统位置控制:两种设计方法的比较

This work is concerned with the position control of robotic systems by means of an affine PD-based control law. The general nonlinear differential equation of the dynamics with a non-constant and nonlinear input matrix is considered. The main idea for the design of the control law lies in linearizing the dynamics of the robot around the desired configuration state by using the first-order Taylor approximation. Thus, by means of the obtained linear model, two different approaches for the design of the feedback gains of the affine PD controller are presented. At the end of this work, a two-degree-of-freedom manipulator robot is adopted to show the efficiency and then to compare between the two design approaches of the affine PD-based control law.

Decision-making in complex systems is undoubtedly quite difficult, mostly under exceptional circumstances. Indeed, in the context of international market selection, the COVID-19 pandemic has made pharmaceutical export decisions more complex. Several scientific approaches are used by researchers as well as practitioners to guide in this area. In particular, Operations Research techniques, including linear programming, discrete event simulation and queuing theory, are called by organizational leaders to make highquality decisions. This study presents a Benchmarking methodology to support the decision-making process for international market selection based on the Data Envelopment Analysis method. A computational numerical study was conducted to highlight the performance of the proposed approach.

SMART Calibration Platform for a Set of Metrology Equipments: Application for spectrum analyzer 一套计量设备的SMART校准平台:在频谱分析仪中的应用

With the great progress it has made, metrology is increasingly essential in various fields such as health, biology, food, chemistry and medicine. If we refer to etymology, "metrology" means "science of measurement". The business measurement approach should therefore fall within the realm of rigor and rationality by performing periodic calibration. By using new technologies (IT, Machine learning, etc.), work methods can be innovated by modernizing measurement techniques and by introducing the notion of intelligence. "SMART Metrology" or "intelligent metrology" is therefore required to take care of the automatic calibration and monitoring of equipment and will provide reliable and repeatable measurements, which will be verified by legal metrology. It is therefore used to create SMART measuring instruments that transform measurement results into controlled information. More and more companies are opting for Smart metrology for the simple reason that it modernizes the techniques of taking measurements introducing new concepts, in particular Big Data. This technology offers metrologists the opportunity to develop their profession, allowing them to actively participate in the compliance of measuring instruments and the reliability of measurements in the company. This paper presents a SMART platform for calibrating spectrum analyzers available in a metrology laboratory using Python programming software. This Human Machine Interface (HMI) makes it possible to communicate in real time with the spectrum analyzers, to take measurements automatically, to supervise the instrument remotely in order to carry out the calibration and verification of the equipment and to judge the conformity of the equipment.
