Bipolar SHEPWM for Pure Sine Wave Single-Phase Inverter 纯正弦波单相逆变器双极SHEPWM

Modern power systems, like DC-AC inverters, use simple control strategies. However, they give rise to harmonic problems during the switching process. It impacts the total system performance.In this paper, Selective Harmonic Elimination SHEPWM was adopted to mitigate these undesirable harmonic distortions. It cancels odd harmonic at optimized switching angles. In this case, it aims to eliminate the first 100 low-order harmonics. The fsolve function was used to calculate the optimized 50 angles for the SHEPWM by solving the non-linear transcendental equations in MATLAB. The resulting SHEPWM is implemented in a low-cost high-performance PIC18F26K22 microcontroller. It controls a pure sine wave single-phase inverter in ISIS space. Finally, an LC low-pass filter is connected at the inverter output to ameliorate its response and obtain a better sinusoidal AC waveform with a lower THD.

Master-Slave Tracking of a Rigid Double-Side SDOF Impact Mechanical Oscillator Using Polyhedral Sets 基于多面体集的刚性双面SDOF冲击机械振荡器主从跟踪

This research study proposes a design methodology of a master-slave state-feedback controller based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) method for some class of complex robotic systems, which is the single degree-of-freedom (SDOF) impacting mechanical oscillator with two asymmetric rigid double-side constraints. To deal with the stabilization problem, we employ the S-procedure lemma that generates four bilinear matrix inequalities (BMIs). By virtue of the matrix inversion lemma and the Schur complement, these obtained BMIs are therefore transformed into LMIs. The results obtained by the simulation show that the slave mechanical impact oscillator is well controlled and hence track the desired trajectory of the master.

Harmonic Current Compensation Based on Three-phase Shunt Active Filter using Model Predictive Current Control 基于模型预测电流控制的三相并联有源滤波器谐波电流补偿

The increase use of non-linear devices introduces harmonics into electrical networks which cause distortion of current and voltage signals and damage the quality of electrical power. However, in electrical systems, the elimination of harmonics is a great importance. This paper presents an approach to remove harmonics, to reduce the total harmonic distortion and to improve the power factor in power distribution networks using shunt active power filters based on a robust controls as a model predictive control. In our study, we tested the conventional theory (p-q theory) to detect the harmonics present in the electrical system. In addition, for the DC link voltage control, the conventional regulator PI is used. The robustness of this proposed command is tested for three different non-linear load cases, also before and after filtering. The simulation results show that this control technique satisfies all standards with minimum current total Harmonic distortion.

A Decision Support Framework based on FCM for Selecting Key Performance Indicators 基于FCM的关键绩效指标选择决策支持框架

One of the main issues that firms encounter in building an effective performance measurement system (PMS) is selecting the most relevant performance indicators, often known as key performance indicators (KPI). These indicators should be chosen according to the company’s objectives, strategies, and key success factors. On the other hand, in a production system, KPIs are not independent and may have inherent interactions with each other. These interactions should be investigated and taken into account in the KPI selection process. The goal of this research is to present a decision support framework based on a Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM) for guiding decision-makers in the selection of KPI. The model is based on the idea that KPI may be assessed and chosen based on their impacts on the company’s strategic objectives. In addition, the model allows for the consideration of different causal interdependence between the KPI.

Sun Sensor Design for Full Field of View Coverage 全视场覆盖的太阳传感器设计

Sun sensors instrument measure the direction of the sun relative to the spacecraft by converting the amount of light energy into an electrical measurement. In this paper, we present a novel geometry, called 3D shape, of sun sensor array that contains three structures: pyramidal structure in the top, cube structure in the middle and inverted pyramidal structure in the bottom. In fact, our aim is to achieve the field of view of sun sensor by selecting an appropriate tilt angle of the Ambient Light Sensors (ALS). To validate our 3D shape, we have developed a mathematical model allowing calculus of solar vector orientation in the sun sensor coordinates. Simulation results show the advantages of the proposed configuration compared with, well used, regular pyramidal shape.

Modeling and Path Following Control of a Coaxial Helicopter 同轴直升机建模与路径跟踪控制

This paper proposes an approach for modeling and controlling a coaxial helicopter. An autopilot is designed using sliding mode control. It consists of a low-level controller for attitude stabilization and a high-level controller for path following control. Speed controller is also performed using the helicopter dynamics in pitch motion. Simulations are carried out to show the behavior of the overall system and the effectiveness of the designed autopilot.

Optimal Power Allocation Based Unlicensed Spectrum Sharing for Cellular Networks 基于非授权频谱共享的蜂窝网络最优功率分配

Following 3G and 4G cellular networks, 5G is already deployed in some countries and 6G is under development looking for higher speed and lower latency. This evolution of wireless industry and mobile users requirements enhance the exploration of new spectral access strategies. Even though, millimeter waves offer promising bandwidth, it suffer from limited range due to high path loss. Therefore, new generations of cellular networks are interested in Sub-6GHz spectrum that has adequate propagation properties and has many bands released for unlicensed access. However, these frequencies are used by the majority of commercial wireless technologies such as WIFI, Bluetooth and 3G/4G cellular networks. Their spectral coexistence with new wireless services over unlicensed bands requires mutual interference control based on controlling the power levels of co-located operators. To address this issue, we present a coexistence solution based on power control enabling maximum cell transmission capacity. We formulate the interaction between two co-located operators as a competitive game. Each operator-user pair tries to maximize its sum transmission capacity over the target channels under maximum power constraint. We develop the analytical expressions of the optimal power allocation vectors, then we keep the base stations playing the game iterations until the convergence to a Nash equilibrium. We provide simulation results proving the performance of the proposed model.

Predictive Tool to Overcome Negative Thinking of Employees with Anxiety 克服焦虑员工消极思维的预测工具

Among significant portion of the population, anxiety disorder can be considered as the most prominent psychological condition. Anxiety may limit many people's activities and make it difficult for them to enjoy their lives. An increase in negative thoughts would raise people's fear and worry, which potentially leading to anxiety disorder. The number of remote workers has risen as a result of the pandemic situation. A considerable number of employees are faced with anxious thoughts because of the workplace isolation. This was proved by a pilot study done among 102 employees in Sri Lanka. The proposed solution is a mobile application that employees can use to diagnose the anxiety level using machine learning and support to overcome their negative thinking behavior, through cognitive behavioral therapy exercises by allowing them to do self-improvement activities. The visually represented dashboard can monitor the positive thinking improvement of the user.

Assignment-based heuristic for SDM Networks with Multi-Core Fibers 基于赋值的多芯光纤SDM网络启发式算法

Due to the ever-increasing demand for the Internet, optical fiber networks are receiving a lot of attention. Elastic Optical Networks (EONs) have a potential future in next-generation high-speed networks due to their increased flexibility and better spectrum management. Moreover, Space-Division Multiplexing (SDM) is used to expand the fiber capacity further. One of the most difficult problems in elastic optical transport networks is the Routing and Spectrum Assignment (RSA). The goal of this study is to create and develop effective algorithm for internet traffic routing in SDM-based Elastic Optical Networks (EONs). The focus of this study is on a problem known as Routing, Spectrum, and Core Allocation (RSCA) for flex-grid SDM networks. Preliminary experimental results demonstrate good performance in terms of time and quality using an assignment-based heuristic.
