Adaptive-Cost Shortest Path Based Heuristic for Space Division Multiplexing Networks 基于自适应代价最短路径的空分复用网络启发式算法

The total Internet traffic is rapidly rising as a result of the growing popularity of various network services. One of the network types is mesh network where space division multiplexing (SDM) has become an interesting approach to deal with the upcoming capacity crisis issue. SDM's key concept is to take advantage of the spatial dimension to significantly increase transmission system power. In this paper, we present an adaptive cost shortest path based heuristic for flexgrid SDM optical networks. The preliminary experimental results show a promising performance in terms of minimizing the highest used number of slices over all the links/cores of the network.

State synchronization of perturbed nonlinear switching systems via robust interval state observers 基于鲁棒区间状态观测器的摄动非线性开关系统状态同步

In this paper, a switched interval state observer-based synchronization method is developed. Such an observer is applied to reconstruct the state of perturbed nonlinear switched systems exhibiting chaotic behavior and subject to unknown but bounded exogenous perturbations and uncertainties. The stability study with Lyapunov approach is formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to calculate the observation gain matrix. Simulation results are provided to highlight the chaotic aspect of the studied systems and to reconstruct the lower and upper bounds of the unavailable state variables. Furthermore, a transmitted signal is synchronized with a restituted one, via nonlinear perturbed switched systems and nonlinear robust switched interval observer, to prove the high performance of the elaborated transmission strategy.

Among the great restrictions for off grid renewable electrical energy production systems to a sure electrification is the weather-data fluctuating nature. Therefore, helping these systems with additional storage systems to maintain a secure supply of consumers appears as a suitable solution, especially in remote isolated sites. The objective of this study is to extract optimal configuration of a hybrid off grid photovoltaic-diesel energy system with storage system based on the combination between inertial storage (flywheel) and electrochemical storage (batteries) for agricultural applications.

Hardware implementation of the Haar 2D discrete wavelet transform with an application to image watermarking 硬件实现Haar二维离散小波变换并应用于图像水印

This paper presents a hardware implementation of the lifting 2D discrete wavelet transform of Haar for real-time image applications. The hardware architecture is designed using Xilinx System Generator software. Then, it is implemented on the FPGA-ZYNQ ZC 020 which results in low resources utilization and high performance. In FPGA-ZYNQ, the proposed hardware 2D DWT of Haar can achieve a frequency of 271.37 MHz with a throughput of 8683.84 Mbps. In addition, an application of the hardware lifting 2D DWT of Haar for image watermarking is presented. The algorithm inserts a binary watermark in the high-frequency band HL after two-level of the wavelet decomposition. The experimental results show good results.

Frequency stability enhancement of AC microgrid with high share of wind energy 风电占比高的交流微电网频率稳定性增强研究

Due to technical, economic, and environmental benefits of microgrids, its applications have been become promising solutions. Electricity generation from wind energy has significant contribution in renewable energy applications inside microgrids. However, decupling between wind generator and microgrid, due to presence of grid interface converters (GIC) for integration and maximum power point (MPP) operation, reduces the microgrid inertia compared to traditional generation system. This inertia reduction has adverse effect on the frequency stability, nadir, and rate of change of frequency (ROCOF), when the microgrid is experienced to load or generation disturbances. A lot of efforts have been made through generators deloading techniques and/or using of energy storage systems (ESSs) to introduce synthetic inertia in the system. The aforementioned techniques have financial drawbacks. Utilizing the natural inertia of wind generation system to enhance the microgrid inertia still requires additional efforts. In this article, the inherent inertia of the wind generation system, the fast control capability of GIC, and advancement in control technique are employed to introduce inertia response into the microgrid, while the wind generation system works very near to the MPP. In addition, the applied control technique uses the frequency signal instead of the frequency derivative, which avoids deterioration of the system stability and averts noise amplifications. The controller is tuned to mimic the inertia performance of traditional generation. The mathematical derivation which necessary for the control objective is deduced and verified by simulation using MATLAB platform. The technique is applied on microgrid comprises of wind generation system, thermal generation unit and electrical load. The response of the microgrid with suggested control is justified with the performance of two other microgrids operate under the same disturbance.

A Fuzzy Logic based control system for Electric Wheelchair obstacle avoidance 基于模糊逻辑的电动轮椅避障控制系统

This paper proposes a shared-control system for electric wheelchair (EWC) to avoid obstacles with a fuzzy logic (FL) based strategy. A fuzzy logic controller is integrated into an existent electric wheelchair to decrease the risk of crashes and collisions while navigating in a crowded room. An Arduino micro-controller connected to 3 ultrasonic sensors detects distances to obstacles around the wheelchair within a radius of 90◦. It sends data to a Raspberry pi II microprocessor on which we have implemented our Fuzzy logic based algorithm of obstacle avoidance. The data resulting from the fuzzy algorithm control the wheelchair’s linear acceleration.The software is implemented on the Unix Platform. 4 data sets are used to test the controller. Experimental results give us new adjusted acceleration values.

Trajectory Tracking Control of the Compass-Type Bipedal Robot Gait via an Improved PD+ Controller 基于改进PD+控制器的罗盘型双足机器人步态轨迹跟踪控制

This work focuses on the stabilization of the passive dynamic walking gait of the compass-type bipedal robot. Such walker robot is a 2-DOF biped that descends an inclined surface without any actuators. Its bipedal walking is modeled by a complex system, which is characterized by a nonlinear dynamics with impulse effects. We show the complexity of the bipedal walk by analyzing the bifurcation diagrams which reveal the existence of undesirable phenomena such as different bifurcation types and chaos. In order to properly imitate human locomotion, the chaotic bipedal walking of the compass robots walkers should be transformed into a one-periodic stable behavior. Hence, to achieve this goal, we propose an improved PD+ control law, which is based on the PD controller and the gravity compensation. Finally, and via some simulations, we demonstrate that the bipedal walking is controlled and hence chaos is suppressed.

Its bipedal walking is modeled by a complex system, which is characterized by a nonlinear dynamics with impulse effects. We show the complexity of the bipedal walk by analyzing the bifurcation diagrams which reveal the existence of undesirable phenomena such as different bifurcation types and chaos. In order to properly imitate human locomotion, the chaotic bipedal walking of the compass robots walkers should be transformed into a one-periodic stable behavior. Hence, to achieve this goal, we propose an improved PD+ control law, which is based on the PD controller and the gravity compensation. Design and Diagnosis of current faults in electrical power systems of permanant magnet synchrones machine 永磁同步电机电力系统电流故障的设计与诊断

This paper focuses on the diagnosis of electrical faults in electrical drives based on the permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) which is supplied by a system of voltages delivered by a voltage inverter, this is controlled by the hysteresis strategy with three reference currents. High current or cut-off can cause problems for three-phase equipment and the most common impact of these faults is overheating of the equipment and consequently degradation of electrical insulation and reduction of service life. A modeling of the system performance in the healthy and faulty machine cases has been simulated. In this paper, firstly, the system is analyzed for the different supply current faults of types: unbalance and current break. Then, the fault detection of the permanent magnet synchronous machine can be illustrated by the evolution of the parameters that describe the electrical and mechanical characteristics of the machine. The results of the simulation are realized by Simulink MATLAB.

Fault Tolerant Control Design Based on Multiobserver of Sensor Faults for Fuzzy T-S Systems 基于多观测器的模糊T-S系统容错控制设计

In this paper, the work’s goal is to analyze as well as conceive a sensor fault-tolerant fuzzy T-S controller, based on the feedback of reconstructed states, via the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model which is influenced by the sensor faults. The control strategy proposed in this work aims at stabilizing the closed loop system, although sensor faults exist, as well as compensating their effects. For this, a multiobserver is designed so as to estimate, at the same time, the system states and the sensor faults. For the design of the sensor fault-tolerant fuzzy T-S controller, we base the analysis and the stability study on the Lyapunov quadratic function and the Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) formulation. Furthermore, the performance optimization technique aims to reduce the derivation impacts of sensor faults on the system states and estimation errors. The multiobserver and the fuzzy T-S controller gains are simultaneously determined by the resolution of the LMI conditions. Finally, the control approach proposed in this work is applied in simulation to a real example which is a manipulator arm operated by a DC motor, so as to show the suggested control technique efficiency.
