Among the most important tasks, in order to control the robotic system to achieve some desired goal, is the design of the controller to be applied as well as the right choice of gains to be used. Despite the presence of several effective controllers that can be used, it remains the judicious choice of the adequate values of the feedback gains that will define the control and then the stabilization of the robot system from some initial configuration towards a desired one. This work mainly proposes some conditions that can help to make the right choice of the feedback gains to solve the problem of position control of robotic systems via an affine PD-based control law. Such control law is designed through the linearization of the nonlinear dynamics of the robotic system around the desired state. The methodology used is mainly based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques and lies on determining the conditions on the feedback gains ensuring the stability of the linear dynamic model and the nonlinear dynamics under the adopted controller. An illustrative example of a two-degree-of-freedom manipulator robot is considered to illustrate the different adopted determination methods of conditions on the feedback gains.

This paper proposes a methodology to estimate the reliability of multilevel power converters and applies this methodology to two interesting structures: The first is the conventional three-level NPC (Neutral Clamped Converter) one. The second is a hybridization of the FC (Flying Capacitors) topology and the NPC one. This versatile FC-NPC topology was proposed mainly to improve the fault tolerance capabilities of the NPC power converter. During normal mode operation, the added fourth FC-based leg contributes to the actively balance the NPC neutral point voltage. When one of power switches of the three NPC legs undergoes a short circuit or an open circuit fault, the FC-based leg guarantees the converter operation under theses fault conditions through a reconfiguration of the power structure and the dedicated converter control. In this paper, an analysis of the influence of the added FC-based leg on the reliability of the hybrid converter is carried out. Thus, the reliability of the hybrid fault tolerant converter is modeled using standard reliability tools [1], FIDES guide [2] and the MIL-HDBK-217-F standard [3]. The precise mathematical modeling and estimation of the two converters reliabilities and failure rates show the effectiveness of the hybrid converter towards reliability increase.

Screening candidates' resumes manually is a tedious job, with possibilities of sometimes missing good candidates due to human errors, nepotism, and bias. However, these kinds of mismanagement don’t apply to machines. Instead, automatic screening of candidates reduces a lot of effort, time, and cost. Hence this work specifically focuses on extracting technical skills using natural language processing specifically resume label character positioning, data set consisting of software engineering candidate requirements, regular expressions, and word and phrase matching for candidate information retrieval. Character positioning a new technique for information extraction is introduced, which perceives needed data and pulls it out. This methodology creates a summary of the resume from the extracted information. And computes count scores from based recognized skills, and education plus experience level. Finally, upon testing on five random software engineering positions resume correct extraction rate of 33.59% was obtained.

This paper purpose is to optimize a high gain state observer for the estimation nonlinear chaotic systems. The upgrading method, based on the use of a non dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II), relies on a quadratic optimization fitness function is presented to generate the most suitable value of the observer influential parameter θ that define the observation gain. NSGA-II algorithm is considered as a competent multiobjective exploration approach. In fact, the proposed criteria grants an adjustment of the observation error taking into consideration the correction factor of the observer. Furthermore, a remarkable specification of the proposed optimization approach is its independence to initial conditions allowing to override the problem of suboptimal conditions, which are widely used in optimization methods. Experimental simulation is proposed to illustrate the efficiency and prominent results of the designed observation approach, applied to state reconstruction of the well-known unified nonlinear perturbed chaotic systems.

This paper aims to study the effect of the presence of dry bands on the distribution of the electric field and potential on high voltage polluted insulator model subjected to impulse voltage. To take account of the influence of pollution thickness 3D computations were achieved with COMSOL Multiphysics Software. This Software uses Finite Element Method. The results of the simulation demonstrated that in presence of dry band, the electric field distribution is affected and becomes distorted along the surface of the polluted insulator. Numerical simulation showed also that the dry bands near the electrodes are responsible for more critical voltage and field stresses than in the case of a continuous pollution layer. It was observed extremely high stresses at the dry bands. The intensity of the electric field depends on the location and the width of dry bands. It was also observed that the potential grading can be improved by increasing the number of dry bands.

In the last decade, the penetration of wind energy is increased into the network. However, the supervision of wind farms (WF) has evolved so as to follow the power gradient constraint reference requested by the transmission system operator (TSO). This algorithm is found on a central and a local supervisory: in the first one, a central supervisory unit that ensures the communication flow between the TSO and the WF. In the second a local supervisory unit that controls each wind turbine (WT) in accordance with the central unit, is demand. Simulation results will be presented to show the validity of the algorithm proposed that ensures the limitation of Power Gradient Constraint.

In this paper we deals with radio resource allocation in New Generation Radio Mobile Networks (NGN) based on OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access). The OFDMA technic is considered as a one of the most promising techniques in telecommunication systems that requiring a high quality of service (QoS) and a high network coverage. This will be serve to increase the degree of satisfaction of the network users and consequently to guarantee a better Quality of Experience (QoE). For these reasons, it is important to know how to manage radio resources (subcarriers and power) for each user to communicate with the network. Several radio resource management techniques exist. We cite a power and frequency management algorithms (BABS, MBABS, HBABS, ACG, RCG). The main objective of radio resource allocation algorithm is to maximize total cell and increase the satisfaction degree of users network. Our present research work is focused on the radio resource management approach based on a new fusion method. The main objetive of this approach is to propose a new algorithm that allows improve the quality of service in the network by optimizing a radio resources. Indeed, the maximization of the total flow of the cell is the main objective of our contribution. This new proposal algorithm, consist to maximize a total rate of cell with considering individual user throughput. The obtained simulation results of proposed algorithm, proves best performances in comparison with other algorithm such as MBABS (Modified Bandwidth Allocation Based on SNR) with the same degree of complexity.
MBABS (Modified Bandwidth Allocation Based on SNR)算法相比,该算法具有最佳性能。

It is known that information security and privacy revolve around three principal keys: confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Depending on the environment, application, context, or use case, one of these principles may prevail over the others. For a medical application, for example, confidentiality is essential. Therefore, any imaging transferred electronically must be encrypted to prevent unauthorized persons from seeing its contents. This paper exhibits a new efficient ciphering algorithm for the security of transmitted images in public networks such as the Internet or archived in cloud computing based on a three-dimensional S-box. The suggested method encrypts and decrypts the image block by block. Each block is 8x8 pixels. The encrypted data are obtained by replacing the original data and the key by its value in S-box. Substitution boxes (S-box) are generated using a proposed algorithm that produces a 3D S-box using the random function and permutation. The security analyses show that the presented algorithm has an important security level. The runtime of the proposed algorithms is fast compared to others image encryption algorithms.

Mechanomyography (MMG), in particular the acoustic myogram (AMG), is a non-invasive technique used for recording the sound signal produced by muscles. It can be used to explore the neurophysiological and morphological characteristics of muscles and thus highlight fatigue or even the modification of these characteristics of the latter. In this article, we de velop a measurement platform to record the AMG muscle activity produced during six hand movements. The idea of this work is to show the capabilities of our platform to produce and help to recognize multiple hand movements. The sensor used consists of three condenser microphones with high sensitivity electrets placed on the forearm in order to be more sensitive to extrinsic and intrinsic muscles. The experimental results re ve al visible muscle activity with different levels of amplitude and also frequency, clearly correlated with the strength and vibrations of the muscle fibers.
