Development of hydration temperatures on cement pastes 水化温度对水泥浆的影响

This article deals with the possible combination of high temperature fly ash with fluidised bed fly ash. The main objective of the experiment is to verify the effect of the combination of these two energy by-products on simpler systems – cement pastes. In the experimental part, the evolution of hydration temperatures and the time course of volume changes were monitored. The results obtained indicate that the addition of fluid fly ash to the mixture intensifies the hydration reaction, despite the increase in the value of the water to cement ratio of the mixture. At the same time, there is a slight increase in volume changes, which can be considered as a very valuable contribution to technical practice, taking into account possible ecological or economic aspects.

The use of concrete slurry waste to improve the properties of the stabilised soil 利用混凝土泥浆废料改善稳定土的性能

It is often necessary to use stabilising additives during construction to improve the resulting soil properties to ensure the good quality of civil engineering structures. These additives are often produced at high temperatures and with a high carbon footprint. This paper focuses on soil stabilization with waste concrete slurry, which is produced during the production of fresh concrete. The selected clay soil was stabilized with cement and CSW at 2, 4, and 6 % by weight of soil. Compressive strength, the resistance to freezing and thawing, Initial bearing index (IBI), and California bearing capacity (CBR) were monitored. The research did not confirm better performance of CSW binder even at higher dosage compared to cement, which was due to the high water content of the mixtures. Positive results were achieved especially in Freez-Thaw resistance.

Production of concrete pavements using mixed cements 使用混合水泥生产混凝土路面

Currently, great importance is attached to the reduction of emissions in industrial production, especially in the production of cement, when it is indicated that during production 1 ton of cement produces approximately 0.6 ton of CO2. Reducing emissions is possible thanks to secondary raw materials, which are produced in large quantities in the Czech Republic volumes for which a suitable use is sought. Some secondary raw materials are suitable for use in concrete mixes, which are used to improve the rheology of the fresh concrete mixture as well as the properties hardened concrete. Currently, there is an effort to eliminate the production of cement, to which its partial replacement by admixtures could also contribute. Therefore it is necessary determine the optimal admixture that could be used to replace part of the cement in concrete mix. A large consumer of concrete mixes are transport structures, where it is possible for some of the cement used to be replaced by an admixture.

The application of UHPC on the monolithic part of the Štvanice footbridge 在什特瓦尼采(Štvanice)人行天桥的整体部分应用超高性能混凝土

The use of UHPC with fibers is becoming an increasingly common topic in the world. This material is used for its superior mechanical and physical properties and long service life. However, the production cost is high, hence UHPC is used for special applications or for smaller prefabricated parts. This paper focuses on UHPC application for the construction of the Štvanice Footbridge, Prague, the Czech Republic. A monolithic part of the structure was made of UHPC from fresh transport concrete, which was produced by Skanska Transbeton. The special feature is that about 126m3 of fresh concrete was industrially prepared. This concrete achieved the properties of SCC and the final 28 day compressive strength was 120MPa with tensile strength of 18.6 MPa. Due to high hydration heat release rate, an internal water cooling system was designed and sucessfully appled using water from Vltava River.

Verification of material characteristic of natural fibers for concrete reinforcement 验证混凝土加固用天然纤维的材料特性

The topic of the article is the verification of the tensile mechanical characteristics of selected natural fibres commonly available on the Czech market. Due to their high tensile strengths, some natural materials have a certain potential for use in specific engineering applications such as concrete reinforcement. Additionally, natural fibres are renewable materials, making them an environmentally friendly material. Potentially, its use as a reinforcement in the form of technical textiles for textilereinforced concrete could help create more sustainable reinforced concrete elements. This article deals with tensile tests of chosen available natural fibre materials, such as flax, hemp, jute, and sisal, both pure and impregnated (homogenised) using epoxy resin. In this article, the results and comparisons of tensile strengths and Young’s modulus are presented.

Parameters of back filling material prepared from mine tailing, fly ash, and mine water 用尾矿、粉煤灰和矿井水制备的回填材料参数

The article investigates the influence of mine tailing, fly ash, and mine water on strength parameters as mine paste filling material performing the strength tests on different recipes of mortar mixes with individual types of fillers and wastewater from extraction of mine tailings. Recipe is prepared in proportions corresponding to the standard mortar and compared with a reference recipe according to the fresh mortar consistency test using a shaking table according to ČSN EN 1015-3. Resulting measured values on 40 × 40 × 160 mm solids samples for which the evaluation of the volume weight was carried out in the range of 2, 7, 14, 28, 56 and 90 days according to EN 1015-10 (722400). The results showed that that it is possible to prepare relatively fluid mixtures with extremely low binder dosage. And not only the water coefficient but also the granulometry of the raw material plays an important role in the long-term strengths of samples.

Dowel bars – reinforcing elements of cement concrete pavements 道钉--水泥混凝土路面的加固构件

Our aim is to analyze the function of reinforcement elements (dowel bars) in cement concrete pavement to highlight the influence of these elements on the service life of the pavement as a whole and to find possible alternatives to existing products that are freely available on the Czech market. That is, how these elements in the form of dowel bars should work properly so that the function meets the design assumptions of a rigid pavement. We describe the procedure for inserting dowel bars during paving, which is directly related to the possibilities of using different dowel bars. Finally, we summarize the possibilities of using alternative materials, shapes, or sizes of dowel bars and the possibilities of their use in the Czech Republic.

Analysis of concrete taken from a loaded column by determining the modulus of elasticity 通过测定弹性模量对从加载柱中提取的混凝土进行分析

Sustainability places an emphasis on preserving and using existing structures, particularly those that are historically or artistically valuable. The preservation of buildings is closely related to a good assessment of their condition. When making a diagnosis, it is suitable to use non-destructive methods to the greatest extent possible. However, these must also be complemented by core samples, which can be used to determine not only the compressive strength but also other important properties. The paper focuses on the evaluation of a reinforced concrete column that was gradually loaded until failure occurred. During loading, the quality of the concrete throughout the column was monitored using the ultrasonic pulse velocity method and, after loading was finished, the cores were taken from the column. The specimens, obtained from the core samples, were then carefully analysed using both non-destructive and destructive tests. The conclusion describes a possible approach to the assessment of concrete using a core examination.

During loading, the quality of the concrete throughout the column was monitored using the ultrasonic pulse velocity method and, after loading was finished, the cores were taken from the column. The specimens, obtained from the core samples, were then carefully analysed using both non-destructive and destructive tests. Textile-reinforced concrete not only has many advantages that lead to less consumption of primary resources, but also enables the creation of thin and subtle elements. The high performance of such elements allows us to create interesting architectural features, such as translucent concrete. This article focusses on the possibility of reinforcing translucent concrete panels.

Processing and recycling of aggregate residues after ore extraction for stabilization of mined areas 对矿石开采后的碎石残渣进行加工和再循环,以稳定矿区环境

The article focuses on the treatment and recycling of aggregate. It also addresses the issue of treatments effects on mine tailings, fly ash and acid mine water on the measured parameters of concrete with load-bearing and backfilling paste with non-load-bearing function. Four different mixes were developed, and standard tests were performed on them. These mixtures were made with different types of mine tailing’s fillers with varying degrees of treatment. Mineralogical and chemical tests were carried out on the treated aggregates, with sieve analysis and their subsequent adjustment for suitable aggregate gradation curve in concrete. Strength and volumetric weight tests were carried out on hardened samples at 28, 56 and 90 days. The results of the determined functional specimens showed that it is possible to develop an almost completely waste-free technology using recycled aggregate and fly ash from the ore mining and energy industries and its subsequent processing and use for backfilling of mine deposits with load bearing and non-load bearing function concrete.
