A Comparison of the DES and Dömösi Cryptosystems DES和Dömösi密码系统的比较

In this paper we compare the well known DES cryptosystem with the recently introduced Dömösi system, which is based on nite automata. We do a time complexity analysis on both algrithms. We show that without making use of an auxiliary matrix the Dömösi cryptosystem is slower than DES. However, the use of auxiliary matrices makes the former perform better than its well known counterpart for some block lengths.

A great deal of research eort is currently being made in the realm of so called natural computing. Natural computing mainly focuses on the denition, formal description, analysis, simulation and programming of new models of computation (usually with the same expressive power as Turing Machines) inspired by Nature, which makes them particularly suitable for the simulation of complex systems.Some of the best known natural computers are Lindenmayer systems (Lsystems, a kind of grammar with parallel derivation), cellular automata, DNA computing, genetic and evolutionary algorithms, multi agent systems, arti- cial neural networks, P-systems (computation inspired by membranes) and NEPs (or networks of evolutionary processors). This chapter is devoted to this last model.

Natural Language Processing aims to give computers the power to automatically process human language sentences, mostly in written text form but also spoken, for various purposes. This sub-discipline of AI (Artificial Intelligence) is also known as Natural Language Understanding.

In this paper we define a general class of P systems covering some biological operations with membranes, including evolution, communication, and modifying the membrane structure, and we describe and formally specify some of these operations: membrane merging, membrane separation, membrane release. We also investigate a particular combination of types of rules that can be used in solving the SAT problem in linear time.

Aggregation with Recombination Patterns 具有重组模式的聚合

In this paper, we show the commonalities between aggregation processes in Natural Language Generation and recombination patterns, a framework introduced recently as a way of generating complex sentences in natural languages using very simple recombination –and therefore biological– rules. By showing similarities between these two mechanisms, we suggest the possibility of carrying out aggregation by means of recombination patterns. We also refer to the possibility of using such a biological-motivated framework in the design of efficient and simple natural language generation devices.
