Proving carried out by the Ponteferrada “Aude sapere” working group. The aim was to perform a pathogenesia of a “spider medicine” unknown to us, and to understand all its processes, as such from the collection of the specimen until the preparation of the remedy were steps carried out by our hands. An adult house spider (Tegenaria domestica) was macerated for 40 days in 70° alcohol. It was subsequently ground, homogenised, and filtered. The Korsakoviano method was used for the dilutions up to a potency of 15 K. Six experimenters, 4 females and 2 males. It was decided to take in dry granule every 5 days.

Liver failure in the horse is a relatively common disease, and is one of the most complicated disorders with very poor prognosis due to its symptoms being manifested in a very advanced stage of the disease. In this article, a review is presented of liver disease in horses, as well as the homeopathic medicines that are an effective treatment option.

Osteonecrosis is a disease with a great clinical repercussions due to its tendency to affect young adults, and to the frequent progression of the disease despite treatment. It is a complex disease in its pathophysiology, aetiology, evolution and treatment. After the femoral head, the most frequent location is the knee, especially the internal femoral condyle. The diagnosis is usually confirmed with a magnetic resonance scan. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bisphosphonates, surgery, and other treatments have been employed, but there is currently no specific effective treatment. The prognosis depends on the state and size of the lesion. In best of cases it may progress to cure spontaneously in a period of 3 to 8 months. The case is presented of a 43 year-old woman with avascular necrosis of the external femoral condyle of the left knee that was clinically and radiologically cured with protocolised homeopathic treatment in two months.

Inflammation of the meningeal membranes is characterised by its clinical presentation and complications, and is a condition that requires rapid and effective medical action. In infectious or turbid fluid meningitis, the treatment of choice is antibiotic therapy. The authors of this article present a clinical case that was not completely resolved with antibiotic therapy, and responded to treatment with homeopathy. The deliberation process for the choice of treatment that led to its therapeutic success is also presented.
