Measurement of third-order dispersion in a Hong-Ou-Mandel interferometer 洪欧-曼德尔干涉仪中三阶色散的测量

The effect of third-order dispersion in a Hong-Ou-Mandel interferometer is investigated using a ZnSe crystal as a dispersive medium. A value for the TOD coefficient of ZnSe is extracted which is consistent with literature values.

We demonstrate lasing in atmospheric air from multi-photon dissociation of molecular nitrogen followed by resonant two-photon pumping of the atomic nitrogen fragments. The backwards stimulated emission provides a remote laser source for standoff detection.

We propose a time-resolved technique based on coherent intradyne-detection to measure the short-term optical spectral line width and the long-term mode-frequency of a single-mode in a mode-locked laser. Aliasing inherent in self-delayed homodyne technique is avoided.

We report the first demonstration of time-to-space conversion of sub-picosecond pulses at 1.55μm in a nonlinear slab waveguide using non-degenerate, collinear SFG. A time window of 46ps and serial-to-parallel demultiplexing factor of 93 were achieved.
