Older people are encouraged to participate more in the economic, social, and governmental sectors as part of progressive aging policies worldwide. Very little is known about applying engagement techniques or carrying out strategies in Bangladesh that are important for involving seniors in social engagement. Therefore, this qualitative research was conducted in Dhaka, Bangladesh, among 385 people aged sixty or above to assess their understanding of the quality of life and the gap in government policy. Results showed that between 60 and 65 were more mobile, creative, engaged in productive activity, and had significantly higher decision-making power (p<0.000). Aging greatly enhances dependency (p<0.000). Lower-educated people were significantly dependent on their families (p<0.000). Moreover, elderly income and the cost of treatment were significantly correlated to abuse (p<0.001). Furthermore, 10% of participants reported negative relationships with family members (p<0.031). However, most (61.6%) were unaware of the 2013 Parent's Care Act. Though most participants (73.2%) knew of the government-funded Old Age Allowance, 92.5% received no non-governmental assistance. The research concluded that education and economic condition have a long-term relationship with reducing dependency. In recommendation, Government can increase the retirement age from 59 to 65 years which may increase self of security, respect, and self-esteem and reduce harassment. Parent's Care Act 2013 should implement. Government should include Community Health and Social Service centers for the quality of life of the elderly.

This paper has assessed the determinants of the profitability of commercial banks operating in Nepal. The effect of macroeconomic as well as internal factors on profitability is estimated. For this purpose, ROA is used to measure a bank's profitability. Similarly, liquidity (LIQ), management efficiency (ME), assets quality (AQ), and operational efficiency (OE) are used as internal factors, and consumer price index (CPI), interest rate (IR), and growth rate of broad money supply (M2) are used as macro-economic factors. Based on the result of panel data analysis, this paper revealed that bank-specific and macroeconomic factors play an essential role in determining profitability. Further, this paper found that LIQ, ME, AQ, CPI, and IR substantially influence the profitability of banks operating in Nepal. Thus, this paper concluded that the bank management should improve its liquidity, efficiency of management, and quality of assets to improve profitability. Likewise, the bank management can benefit from increasing CPI and IR to improve profitability.

Employers' feedback on graduates' work productivity is critical for instructional designers, developers, and academic educators to produce new ideas for how graduates may fulfill their duties as citizens of dynamically varying companies. The findings of this study will be used to evaluate the automotive technology program and the basis for graduates' performance at work as it corresponds to technical practitioners, organizational skills, and customer service skills. The Sequential Mixed Method Design was used in the process of this study. The researcher utilized purposive sampling because the participants were determined with 42 employers and 88 LSPU-CIT automotive technology graduates from various firms that were the study's respondents. The researchers used a self-created survey-type questionnaire and a focus group discussion (FGD) interview guide to test the instrument's validity and reliability.Furthermore, respondents were asked to fill out a survey regarding how they rated a graduate's performance, and FGD was held to gain a broad and deep understanding of CIT Graduates' situations in their companies. Following the collection of all meaningful data, an experimental design was used. The findings revealed that the degree of feedback across employers in three domains was undeniable from the employers' perspective, as agreed in the in-depth conversation with the selected companies.

The current study seeks to discover the experiences of the school leaders towards their challenges during a pandemic and their coping mechanisms to provide quality education to the institution's students. The researcher applies narrative inquiry to a qualitative research design. A total of six deans and associate deans were selected as research participants through purposive sampling. Via an interview guide during the interview, the researcher gathered data and presented it using narratives. The results revealed that school leaders encountered many challenges, particularly in the immediate readiness of evaluation tools, accessibility of technology, relationships with coworkers, the University's learning continuity plan implementation, the execution of the course, and the systematic implementation of procedures. In contrast, the efforts made by the school leaders to battle the pandemic outbreak are vital for the education system to cope, including the delivery of webinars, training, and workshops, the availability of a plan for continuous learning, and the University's assistance to stakeholders. It is recommended that higher education institutions design and enhance their learning continuity plans, ensure that the manuals are appropriately disseminated, undertake curriculum enhancements for those programs requiring review, and follow the administration's instructions.

The current study employs an autobiographical design. An autographical design is a type of qualitative approach affiliated with the social explanatory paradigm of research. The author of this article collected his published work, certificates of achievement, and degrees to present as the results of this study. He also used the memorization of his training, workshops, and seminars to present the findings. The results show that from July 2021, the author has upgraded himself from an English teacher to become a novice educational researcher, and his work has been concerning the English language and educational fields. Additionally, he presented how he became a researcher including the difficulties, challenges, and opportunities he experienced in his life over the last two years. He noted that English for teaching and learning is not the same as English for writing research articles. He also encouraged other teachers to engage in research since it is not as difficult as everyone might have expected, and it is the best way to solve the existing problems in all fields including learning and teaching. Besides, research is not only to solve problems but to improve the outcome of the process of learning and teaching as well as other concerning areas. He finally showed simple and easy ways that everyone could become researchers and how to get their work published.

The bank with the appropriate capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is considered the more substantial bank that can meet its obligations and take risks. Thus, the bank management has to identify those factors influencing CAR. This study aims to identify the factors determining the CAR of commercial banks in Nepal. For this purpose, this study has used annual panel data of 6 joint venture commercial banks of Nepal from 2007 to 2021. This paper's regression analysis revealed that bank-specific factors significantly determine the capital adequacy ratio. Further, the study concluded that the financial performance measured by ROE and lending policy measured by the ratio of the total loan and advance to total assets (LTA) plays an inverse role. Liquidity LTD), management efficiency (ME), operational efficiency (OE), and the size of the bank (SIZE) play a positive role in determining the capital adequacy ratio. The bank's management can implement the findings of this paper to maintain a sufficient capital adequacy ratio. Further, the finding of this study can also be implemented by the regulatory bodies to develop policies relating to the capital requirements of commercial banks.

The study investigated the teaching methodology and the behavior of ordinary secondary school students in learning mathematics. This study sought to find behind the scenes why most students in ordinary secondary schools dislike mathematics, which leads to massive failures. To uncover this gap, the study applied a correlation research design. Systematic sampling technique of the interval 50th was used in which 100 respondents were selected; 20 respondents each from 5 selected secondary schools in Mbeya. Data were collected through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively and speculatively. The survey found that teaching materials/media were effectively implemented. Also, the findings indicate the non-adoption of informal behavior and non-reflection of mathematics teachings to the learner’s natural home environment. Thus, from these discrepancies, the study recommends that mathematics teachers be used to teaching simulation and visual aids/media. It is recommended that mathematics teachers use informal behavior such as courage words, remedial classes, and others for students adapted to mathematics-solving behavior. Lastly, it is suggested that mathematics teachings should be reflexive to students’ real-life environment.

The road is an infrastructure that is often passed by the community. If there is damage, it will significantly disrupt community activities; for example, road conditions become jammed. This is necessary for the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of the City of Cirebon to handle the road repairs, but in carrying out repair planning, there are obstacles, one of which is the difficulty in determining priority for road repairs with limited funds from the center. This research decision support system using the Promethee II method aims to find accurate results that are useful in determining priority road repairs that will be selected for repair. The criteria used in this study are Section Length, Road Width, Damage Condition, Traffic Volume (LHR), and Road Access. The results of this study selected Jalan A1 as an alternative that had the highest rating level of 0.613333333, and this indicated that this road was a road that had to be prioritized for repair. The test results show that the Promethee II method can produce priority recommendations for road improvements based on the required criteria.
