Most people are becoming increasingly reliant on technology as a result of recent developments. One area that has seen rapid development is the mass media, which is currently undergoing several changes in terms of innovation. The mass media, which was previously known as print media and electronic media, has now expanded into the digital space, including online media and social media. Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms. Instagram has several features that are helpful enough to serve as a news channel. The information that is always in the spotlight of Instagram users or followers is not far from crime and traffic developments. Instagram account @infobekasi runs one of the accounts that serve as a news feed. The aim of this study was to see if there was an effect of exposure to accident news on perceptions of safety riding among followers of the Instagram account @infobekasi. This study applies Media Ecology Theory in conjunction with quantitative methods. Researchers collected data by distributing questionnaires to research participants who followed the @infobekasi account. Based on the objectives of this study, the researchers used the Simple Linear Regression Test. Regression tests were conducted by researchers using the SPSS application. According to the findings of this study, the variable exposure to accident news has a positive and significant effect of 29% on the variable perception of safe riding. Thus, according to media ecology theory, where people's behavior is influenced by the media and the media shapes people's perceptions and experiences in managing their lives, online media can play a role in influencing people's behavior to be more aware when driving.

More than 210 countries have been affected by the Covid-19 outbreak including Indonesia. One of the steps to be free from the Covid-19 pandemic is to make vaccination efforts. In Indonesia, the implementation of vaccination is still experiencing pros and cons, in addition, the public also questions the effectiveness of the vaccine on the grounds that the vaccine causes side effects and its legality is still in doubt. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Surakarta residency government responds to handling covid-19 vaccination in its area. SCCT theory is used in this study. SCCT theory is used to see the public reaction to a crisis and explain the crisis strategy (crisis response) of the government. The method used is quantitative method by using the method of content analysis (content analysis). The data collection technique using non-probability samples is purposive sampling, namely news that contains responses from the government of the former Surakarta residency in responding to vaccine rejection by the community from May 2021 - November 2022. Frequency descriptive data analysis technique was used in this study. The result of this research is that the strategy used by the Government of Surakarta residency is justification, excuse, victimage, compensation, reminder, scapegoat, apology. The dominant strategy used is justification.

Nowadays, a lot of young people are considering careers in startups, which are small businesses that create technology-based products. Working in startups is regarded as the pride of today's youth because aside from the flexibility of working hours, young people are interested in the startup industry because of the horizontal communication style, which allows superiors and subordinates to communicate with each other directly in two directions without the use of a bureaucratic system. Of course, this kind of communication process has involved human relations as the key to building persuasive and effective communication in order to achieve the common goals of the organization. This study aims to analyze the application of the principles of human relations using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews on the research subject of one of the startups in Indonesia, which is then analyzed based on Keith Davis' theory. The results of the study show that Zuzu Hospitality, a startup in Indonesia, has implemented eight principles of human relations according to Keith Davis' theory, there are 1) The Importance of individual, 2) Mutual acceptance, 3) Common interest, 4) Open communication, 5) Employee participations, 6) Local identity, 7) Local decisions, and 8) High moral standard.

The male gaze is a phenomenon that is currently happening in society. The perpetrators are always in power and oppress women, and women choose to remain silent when faced with those who are more powerful. This creates negative assumptions and causes victims (women) to be reluctant to complain about these acts to others. So that those in power become bolder and more dominant in a relationship because the perpetrators feel they are safe. This phenomenon also occurs in the video clip "Here We Go Again" by Ardhito Pramono. Whereas Ardhito as a fanboy is very obsessed and possessive of his imaginary lover. The purpose of the researcher to raise this discussion is to find out the representation of the Male gaze case in the video clip "Here We Go Again". The researcher uses an analysis technique using qualitative methods and takes John Fiske's semiotic analysis technique to convey the meaning and deep codes in the video clip. The results of the study show that the representation of the Male gaze in this video clip has three stages according to John Fiske which include the level of reality, the level of representation, and the level of ideology. This video clip produces a patriarchal ideology, connected by the depiction of the Male gaze as a camera lens that makes women a sexual object, and it is concluded that Malegaze can control and dominate the ego and produce possessiveness and high obsession with an object, tending to want excessive power to master every object. Thus, giving rise to acts of symbolic violence and physical violence.

As happened in many countries, the COVID-19 vaccine program in Indonesia has experienced challenges due to various hoaxes that accompany it. One of the controversies in the community was that the hoax of the vaccine was doubtful of its halalness. Having faced this situation, the government invited Muhammadiyah the largest Islamic community organization to participate in socializing the use of vaccines to reduce cases of the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out the online news media that framed Muhammadiyah in facing the COVID-19 vaccines and analyzed the framing of the news using Robert Entman's theory. This research methodology uses a qualitative content analysis approach. The results of this study show that there are differences and perceptions of online news media (non-Muhammadiyah and Muhammadiyah affiliated) in framing Muhammadiyah's stance on the aspects of problem definition, problem diagnosis, moral judgment, and problem-solving related to the COVID-19 vaccine controversy. The differences encountered are the number of articles and the content of the messages raised between Muhammadiyah's non-affiliated media and Muhammadiyah's affiliated media. The similarity lies in the framing of Muhammadiyah's support for President Joko Widodo's invitation to fight the COVID-19 vaccine hoax. The results of this study are important in answering Muhammadiyah's position about the rejection of the government's vaccine program.

The human need for information has led to an increase in the development of technology and information. The Baduy community is one of the tribes in Indonesia that still maintains cultural values that are owned and believed to be in the midst of the times. Even though it is regulated by customary law, there is a group of Baduy people who are still open to technological developments, namely the Outer Baduy people, they use social media Facebook in their daily life. This study aims to determine the use of Facebook social media by the Outer Baduy Community in the village of Cikadu Kanekes. This study used the social phenomenology method with interview and observation data collection techniques. The results of the study show that there are three people's motives for using Facebook, namely: profit motive, conformity motive, and existence motive. The use of Facebook social media for the Outer Baduy community can be interpreted as opening up the Outer Baduy community to changing times and technological developments while still following customary rules.
