The study aims to improve brainstorming by utilizing Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) to generate more ideas and increase novelty. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine the rules and techniques of brainstorming. An experiment was conducted in which Gen AI was added to improve the brainstorming process. The results showed a significant positive correlation between participants' confidence in the information provided by Gen AI and an increase in the number of non-redundant ideas generated by co-ideation. In addition, participants' expectations of co-ideation with Gen AI were significantly positively correlated with an increase in both non-redundant and unique ideas. Gen AI can be an extension of human thinking in brainstorming, leading to improved idea generation. However, the effectiveness of Gen AI depends on the user's attitude towards AI.

Dance has played a major role in expressing the characteristics of each country and culture. It is necessary to have a teacher who can teach dance accurately. This paper proposes a system that can analyze skeleton data from recorded videos and calculate similarities between teacher’s and student’s motions. The system extracts the positions of the joints of each dancer in the video using OpenPose and identifies how different are the dance movements using dynamic time warping (DTW), Pearson correlation, and time lagged cross correlation (TLCC). The results obtained in this study show that the information of skeletons identified from recorded videos can be accurately extracted and the similarity between the teacher’s and student’s motions can be determined for scoring the dance quality.

For improving security, this study proposes a mobile data usage prediction method based on homomorphic encryption (HE)-based similarity calculation without plaintext storage. The cosine similarity, angular similarity, Tanimoto similarity, and Euclidean similarity based on HE according to ElGamal cryptography are proposed and combined in a machine learning method to consider the mobile data usage during the last periods for predicting the mobile data usage during the next period.

HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) is a trend in technological art, it can build an immersive experience in an interactive field. This paper focuses on intelligently and dynamically capturing dancers' motion, quantifying the emotional representation of dancers. We define the gesture's emotional type (positive and negative), and the gesture's definitions given are expansion and contraction of the limb. Finally, the interaction between the 3D coordinates and the movement of the robotic arm can be captured by the pose of the dancer. Based on our best results, the image resolution is 960*540, and we achieve a real-time effect of up to 30fps.

This paper discusses the high-performance exigencies using field oriented control (FOC) resolver. To overcome permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) under dynamic speed and load disturbance, the drive control features space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is proposed. An adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) controller is used in the system to enhance speed performance. A novel efficient PMSM control is verified with digital implementation.

Mobile edge computing has been introduced in various fields. The discriminator of the edge device needs to work for local optimized problems. However, since the edge devices are worked in limited areas, these cannot obtain novel learning data by themselves. Therefore these discriminators need to update by using the knowledge of other devices. Thus, in this paper, a method of updating models using weights of the Neural Networks by transferring and fitting is proposed. It is expected models can be updated for solving local optimized problems for sharing the knowledge of another model that are effective for learning.

Intelligent vehicles rely on millimeter-wave radar and machine vision to perceive their surroundings. However, the considerable differences in the features of radar point clouds and those of image pixels make it difficult for models to perform effective fusion. Moreover, high-frequency noise in images can impede the extraction of meaningful features. This paper proposes a novel 3D object detection method that combines millimeter-wave radar and RGB camera data. Our approach includes a gaussian filter for preprocessing, a hierarchical model architecture for fusing radar and image information, and a training stabilization strategy. We evaluated our method using the challenging NuScenes and Taiwan street databases and found that it outperformed the popular CenterFusion model in terms of detection performance. In addition, our method is applicable to a variety of scenarios in Taiwan.

In-network caching is a technology that allows routers in a network to cache contents, enabling users to download the contents from the routers in addition to content servers. As one of routing methods enhancing the performance of in-network caching environments, a multi-armed bandit-based routing (MAB-routing) has been proposed in the past. To further enhance the performance of MAB routing, in this paper, we propose a content prefetching method. In the proposed method, each router periodically retrieves contents according to their popularity, and then notifies its adjacent routers of caching information to efficiently utilize MAB-routing. Through simulation experiments, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A real-time Internet of Things (IoT) status update system is considered, where the IoT device needs to send not only the interested sensing information (payload) but also the controlling information (extra) to the destination for improving the quality of service. To simultaneously transmit these two types of information, a promising coding scheme, i.e., free-ride code, is utilized, in which the 5G low-density parity-check coded sensing sequence is superposed on randomly coded controlling sequence and is delivered to the destination without consuming additional bandwidth and power resources. The average age of information (AAoI) is evaluated for both two types of information. Numerical simulations indicate that the AAoI of extra can be reduced by free-ride codes without impairing the one of payload.

Mice have been an important reference for the drug test. Currently, it is only possible to collect the feedbacks from mice through non-verbal methods. To analysis the behavior of mice with machine learning, there are usually two major challenges. The first one is individual variation on facial expression or behaviors, which might require a huge amount of data set to overcome. The second one is how to obtain reliable labels, which are fundamental to train a robust machine learning model. This study aimed on the analysis of different classification architectures along with the effects of training samples and features to reduce the impact of the above two challenges.
