Study on the wander for laser beam propagation in the slant atmospheric turbulence 激光束在倾斜大气湍流中传播漂移的研究

According to strong fluctuation theory, the Mellin transform techniques is applied to the wander effects of the collimating laser beam propagation in atmospheric turbulence on the slant path considering different height of drone and different outer-scale of turbulence. Applying the ITU-R turbulence structure constant model which is altitude dependent to calculate the wander variance. The conclusions induce the beam wander on the slant path depend on incident wave length, the height of drone, initial beam radial and turbulent outer-scale. And the effect of the atmospheric turbulence to laser beam propagation on the slant path is smaller than on the horizontal path. It is because the drone is higher; the intensity of the turbulence is weaker.

Diversity Planar Monopole Antenna for WLAN Application with Enhanced isolation characteristics 具有增强隔离特性的WLAN应用分集平面单极天线

A printed diversity monopole antenna for WLAN operation at the 5 GHz band, such as the 5.2GHz (5150-5350 MHz) and 5.8GHz (5725-5875 MHz) bands is presented. The proposed diversity antenna fed by a coaxial connector consists of two planar monopole antennas which are symmetrical and a ground which has two slots for enhanced isolation characteristic between two antennas. The bandwidth of the diversity antenna (S1K-10 dB) has achieved about 2360 MHz starting from 4520 MHz to 6880 MHz. Details of the antenna design and experimental results are demonstrated.

Analysis of Large-Scale EM Scattering Using the Parallel Characteristic Basis Function Method 用平行特征基函数法分析大尺度电磁散射

It is crucial to overcome the limitation of the computer capacity in analyzing the electromagnetic (EM) scattering from electrically large objects. The characteristic basis function method (CBFM) is a novel approach to solve this problem. In this paper, a more efficient method is presented by combining CBFM with the parallel technique. The matrix used in CBFM is rearranged to be suitable for parallel process. The parallel CBFM is applied to analyze the electromagnetic scattering feature of 3-D objects. The obtained results confirm the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method in speeding up the RCS calculation of large scale objects.

Strip-type Grid Array Antenna with a Two-Layer Rear-Space Structure 双层后空间结构的条形栅格阵列天线

A strip-type grid array antenna is analyzed using the finite-difference time-domain method. The space between the grid array and the ground plane, designated as the rear space, is filled with a dielectric layer and an air layer (two-layer rear-space structure). A VSWR bandwidth of approximately 13% is obtained with a maximum directivity of approximately 18 dB. The grid array exhibits a narrow beam with low side lobes. The cross-polarization component is small (-25 dB), as desired.

Bandwidth enhancement of stacked rectangular microstrip patch antenna 叠置矩形微带贴片天线的带宽增强

A rectangular microstrip patch antenna has been investigated and its performance has been analyzed with the aid of Microwave Office Package (MW-Office 2000). An additional rectangular conductive plate of comparable dimensions was placed above the patch in order to enhance the bandwidth. The package was used to analyze the effect of the top patch, in particular the variation of VSWR with two parameters, namely the distance between the two patches and the size of the upper patch. A bandwidth of 11% for VSWR les 2 has been achieved for stacked rectangular patch designed to operate in the S-band when a dielectric of thickness one centimeter and relative permittivity epsivr = 2.6 has been taken into consideration.

The Design of High Gain Dipole Antenna with Metamaterial Cover 具有超材料覆盖的高增益偶极子天线的设计

In this paper, we analyze a metamaterial cover based on metal wire array, and use it to increase the gain of dipole from 2.15 dB to 14.5 dB, with narrow beam and low side-lobe levels. And then provide the use of metal strips etched by printed circuit board (PCB) process to substitute the metal wires in order to reduce the weight and be easy in processing. The structure of metal strip array can also greatly increase the gain of dipole and possess good practical engineering application.

We introduce a new method for the determination of the generalized admittance matrix of a rectangular waveguide section loaded with a dielectric inset of arbitrary shape. A state space - integral equation approach is applied which leads to the pole expansion of the admittance matrix in the s-domain.

Multi-Band Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna with Crank-Shape Feed-Line 曲柄馈线多波段矩形介质谐振器天线

In this paper, a new method for broadening of impedance bandwidth of rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) has been demonstrated. In the proposed configuration, two adjacent resonant modes were excited by the additional L-shape feed-line. For the suggested optimum feed network, the impedance bandwidth of over than 11% and 24.5% (for S11 > 10 dB) are obtained in two separate frequency bands at 5-8 GHz.

Techniques of Band-Broadening for an Inverted-F Antenna used in WLAN 无线局域网用倒f天线的带展宽技术

This paper is to present a design method for a PIFA antenna, which can be used to cover the resonant frequency range both of IEEE 802.11a standard and IEEE 802.1 lb/g standard individually. Especially, The band of 802.11a is almost covered fully as a wideband, instead of only individual narrow bands. This PIFA antenna is based on the traditional concept of transmission line antenna. Physically, it is a double-sided PIFA antenna with different width at some parts of its horizontal section. Both of simulated and measured results are presented.

A Cross-Feed Wideband Patch Antenna and Its Hi-Gain Application 一种交馈宽带贴片天线及其高增益应用

A novel cross-feed wideband patch antenna and its hi-gain application is investigated. The antenna elements are cross-fed by parallel broad brimmed coupled lines to actualize impedance match and enhance gain. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the antenna fabricated on a epsivr =2.6 permittivity substrate of h =1 mm thickness can achieve 53% impedance bandwidth (VSWR<2.0) and maximal gain reaches 4.8 dBi, with perfect far-field radiant characteristics and stable phase center. By mounting reflectors and directors around the antenna elements, adjusting parameters, 7-12 dB gain in 51% impedance bandwidth can be achieved. The antenna is easy to design and fabricate. The design parameters can be adjusted easily. The antenna takes on high value in application.
