Scientific dissemination in teaching of chemistry: interlocutions opportunized by extensionist actions 化学教学中的科学传播:由延伸主义行为带来的对话

This article reports the experience in the context of an extension project dedicated to fight against fake news disseminated during the Covid-19 pandemic, whose aim was to promote scientific literacy in formal and non-formal educational environments. Titled "Chemistry, the Central Science", the project was developed over one semester, involving periods of research, elaboration and production of expanded abstracts and posters, and exhibition in different environments and contexts. The group was composed of five professors and five students from the graduation in chemistry course at IFGoiano – Urutaí Campus. The material prepared involved ten themes pertinent to chemistry present in everyday life and the exhibitions were held in different locations in pires do rio and ipameri, cities surrounding the educational institution. The project's execution provided the democratization of knowledge through the teaching of chemistry, as well as favoring the interlocution between community, science, and university.

The effect of carboxymethylcellulose coating on the temperature-controlled storage of mangoes 羧甲基纤维素包衣对芒果温控贮藏的影响

Mango is a highly perishable tropical fruit with intense post-harvest metabolism, limiting its marketing period to distant regions. The application of edible coatings is an efficient way to preserve the quality of a fresh product during post-harvest storage. In the present research, the impact of a 3% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) coating was studied on mangoes during storage at 20° C for 10 days. Results showed that treatment with 3% CMC delayed fruit maturation, suppressed the increase in total soluble solids, decreased firmness, and showed substantially higher titratable acidity, along with maintenance of skin color, in contrast to uncoated fruits. In conclusion, 3% CMC coating can be an effective approach for maintaining fruit quality of harvested mangoes during storage at 20°C.

Compostos fenólicos têm se revelado importantes moléculas no metabolismo humano. Dentre estes, o resveratrol, encontrado principalmente na casca de uvas vermelhas, tem sido apontado como um promissor adjuvante no tratamento e prevenção de doenças. Recentemente, o potencial ergogênico do resveratrol tem sido investigado, entretanto, apresentando resultados divergentes. O objetivo desta revisão foi analisar e discutir estudos que avaliaram os efeitos da suplementação com resveratrol sobre o desempenho em exercícios físicos. Foram utilizados os termos de busca resveratrol, physical exercise, exercise training na plataforma PubMed, resultando em 18 estudos elegíveis aos critérios de seleção. Os estudos selecionados confirmam a inexistência de um consenso na literatura científica sobre o potencial ergogênico do resveratrol. Os estudos selecionados não apontam um resultado comum e, até mesmo intervenções experimentais semelhantes, apresentam resultados divergentes.

Anais do II Colóquio da Pós-Graduação do IF Goiano - Campus Urutaí 第二届IF Goiano - Campus urutai研究生研讨会论文集

A Pós-Graduação Profissional é um segmento cada vez mais relevante quando se trata de capacitação técnico-científica e pesquisa aplicada. É considerando isso que a Diretoria de Pós-Graduação, Pesquisa e Inovação do Instituto Federal Goiano - Campus Urutaí promove entre os dias 13 e 16 de junho de 2023 o II Colóquio da Pós-Graduação do IF Goiano - Campus Urutaí (II CoPU), evento cunhado sobre a premissa do compartilhamento de experiências e soluções, técnico-científicas ou de gestão, por docentes, discentes e profissionais de diferentes áreas do conhecimento. Nesta segunda edição do evento, totalmente presencial e gratuita, são propostas atividades específicas e amplas no âmbito dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Proteção de Plantas, Conservação de Recursos Naturais do Cerrado, e Ensino para a Educação Básica. Estes Programas de Pós-Graduação realizaram em paralelo ao II CoPU, eventos anuais de base técnico-científica. O V Simpósio em Proteção de Plantas (V SPP) traz integração e atualização de conteúdos técnico-científicos aplicados, principalmente, ao manejo de insetos-pragas, doenças, nematoides e plantas daninhas na agricultura. O VII Workshop de Conservação de Recursos Naturais do Cerrado (VII WCRNC) propõe renovadas reflexões sobre práticas que resultem em conservação e restauração da biodiversidade e serviços ecossistêmicos do Cerrado. Nesta edição do evento há especial foco no desenvolvimento de produtos técnicos e tecnológicos impactantes. O IV Seminário de Pesquisa em Ensino para a Educação Básica (IV SPEEB) promove a divulgação de estudos desenvolvidos para melhoria em processos de ensino na Educação Básica brasileira, por meio de trabalhos conduzidos por discentes, docentes e comunidade externa.

Tree community structure in a reserve area at the Federal Goiano Institute – Rio Verde Campus 在联邦戈亚诺学院-里奥佛得角校区保护区的树木群落结构

The Cerrado Biome is the second largest biome in Brazil, it has a rich diversity of fauna and flora, it no longer has its original coverage, even the protected reserves suffer from anthropic actions and invasive plants and animals. In addition, the cerrado has a diversity of habitats and numerous plant species that are at risk of extinction. Therefore, tools such as a floristic survey and a phytosociological study are used to study degraded areas that suffer from anthropic action and modified fragments. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate the floristic composition and structure of the shrub-tree community in a reserve area located at Instituto Federal Goiano. Fifteen systematized plots of 20x20m were established, spaced 10m apart and distributed in four transects, totaling 0.6 ha of sampling. All tree individuals with CAP ≥ 10 cm were numbered using aluminum plates. Circumference measurements were obtained using a tape measure and height was estimated. Classic phytosociological parameters were calculated. A total of 618 individuals distributed in 21 families and 41 species were sampled. Six individuals were not identified. The Shannon diversity index was 2.56 and the Pielou evenness was 0.69. It is concluded that the diversity of species found within the plots is much lower than it should be, with low species variability and the distribution of individuals is disproportionate.

Assessment of the natural regeneration of the forest (fragment) of the IF Goiano, Campus Rio Verde 里约佛得角校园IF Goiano森林(片段)自然再生评估

The regeneration succeeds from the interaction of natural processes of rebuilding the forest ecosystem, it is considered one of the most promising tactics for restoring areas that have been degraded. Thus, studying them allows us to know a little about the way the forest will develop, since it provides the number of species it has and their distribution in the area. The objective of this work was to evaluate the potential and characteristics of natural regeneration in the recovery process of the forest forest at the IF Goiano - Rio Verde campus. For this survey, 15 plots of 5x5m were allocated. All shrub-tree individuals that had at least 10 mm in diameter at ground height (DAS) were sampled; or height of at least 50 cm and that did not meet the criterion for inclusion of the tree extract (CAP ≥ 10 cm).  Classic phytosociological parameters were calculated. A total of 707 individuals were sampled, belonging to 14 families and 23 species, with a predominance of the species Senegalia polyphylla (DC.) Britton & Rose, from the Fabaceae family, in almost all plots. Thus, it is concluded that the study area has low diversity and little species richness.

A total of 707 individuals were sampled, belonging to 14 families and 23 species, with a predominance of the species Senegalia polyphylla (DC.) Britton & Rose, from the Fabaceae family, in almost all plots. INSEMINAÇÃO ARTIFICIAL EM TEMPO FIXO (IATF) CONVENCIONAL COMPARADA A IATF EM BLOCO EM VACAS NELORES 内洛尔奶牛常规固定时间人工授精(tai)与批量人工授精的比较

A Inseminação Artificial em Tempo Fixo (IATF) convencional é uma biotecnologia muito utilizada na bovinocultura de corte, no entanto, a técnica tem apresentando índices de fertilidade das fêmeas quase estabilizados. A IATF em Blocos é uma técnica que visa maximizar esses índices, visto que para obter bons resultados de prenhez, a inseminação necessita ser efetuada no momento próximo da ovulação, esse período é definido pela interação entre indutor e diâmetro do folículo dominante. Neste trabalho, o objetivo foi analisar a taxa de gestação de vacas Nelore, comparando a IATF em Bloco com a IATF convencional, em dois protocolos distintos que são mais utilizados na região, se divergindo apenas pelo indutor de ovulação, sendo o Cipionato de Estradiol e o Benzoato de Estradiol, e quantidade de manejos. Foram utilizadas 40 vacas multíparas da raça Nelore. Sendo 10 fêmeas em cada um dos quatro grupos: IATF convencional com cipionato, IATF em Bloco com cipionato, IATF convencional com benzoato e IATF em Bloco com benzoato. A IATF em blocos com cipionato apresentou maior taxa de gestação 70% (P = 0,079), dessa forma, é uma boa alternativa aos produtores da região que não conheciam essa técnica.

HISTORY OF KRAV MAGÁ IN AMAPÁ FROM THE ORAL REPORT OF A MASTER 剑术的历史magÁ在amapÁ从一个大师的口头报告

This study aims to reveal the arrival of Krav Magá in the State of Amapá, record dates and precursors of the modality, as well as describe the contemporary aspects of this self-defense system. Krav Magá is an Israeli self-defense system, created by Imi Litchenfeld in the 1940s. In Brazil, this system began in 1990, in Rio de Janeiro, and from then on it expanded throughout the Brazilian states. This research with a qualitative approach used the methodology of oral history, having as a methodological instrument a semi-structured interview, in which the subject of the research was one of the first practitioners in Amapá. After carrying out this research, there is – at the time – an army corporal as the initiator of Krav Magá in Amapá, around the 2000s. After the introductory process of Krav Magá, who continued the work with the modality was Sandro Coelho, subject of this research.

Premature Ventricular Contraction Recognition using a Fuzzy Maximum Approaching Degree 利用模糊最大逼近度识别室性早搏

This work presents a new methodology for ventricular premature contraction arrhythmias recognition using a set of geometrical attributes recently proposed and a fuzzy maximum approaching degree.  Pattern models based on triangular and trapezoidal membership functions are proposed and a committee comprising these functions is composed using some statistical data, beyond a mechanism for manual selection of attributes and automatic weighting for each attribute. The obtained results show the efficiency and validity of the proposed approach, with 99.07%, 98.36% and 99.79% of accuracy, sensibility and specificity, respectively, as good as the ones obtained by the state-of-art methods.

Foi realizado pelos discentes dos referidos cursos em parceria com as coordenações dos Cursos de Engenharia Química e  Engenharia de Alimentos e a coordenação do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Tecnologia de Alimentos do Campus Rio Verde. O evento conta com apoio do Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia de Goiás, Quality Consultoria e IF Goiano - Campus Rio Verde.
