Design and Development of Semi-Automatic Electrical Incinerator Using Arduino 基于Arduino的半自动电子焚烧炉的设计与开发

Incineration is the key form of treatment for waste-to-energy. The existing incinerator developed is simple in design; it did not consist of a dustbin to store the waste. The waste disposed directly went through the heating chamber with no control technology i.e., the switch of chamber is controlled manually. This disadvantage is covered by our system as the switch is automatically controlled with the use of a controller. Arduino is used to control the sweeping of the valve. Programming is done with various condition to meet the requirement of the proposed work. The system is environmental friendly as it has a chimney with a filter installed in it. With the use of this system it is easier to dispose waste. It is portable as it is a wheel based incinerator. This portable wherein furnace and valve is automatically operated based on Arduino program. System is reliable and efficient as it is wheel based. The most attractive is it has inbuilt smart dustbin in it. About 65-80% of the energy content in the organic substances can be utilize to produce electricity.

Challenges in the Design of an IoT Testbed 物联网测试平台设计中的挑战

Testbeds are crucial at various stages of engineering of a product. With the trending IoT industry, testbeds for IoT products are being widely discussed in literature. Testbeds for academics, however, have different requirements as compared to the testbeds for industry. Testbeds for academic usage need to be flexible enough to support heterogeneous sensors, heterogeneous protocols and modification of protocols, while maintaining a controlled & repeatable environment for the experiments. In this paper, the authors discuss the challenges in the development of an IoT based smart building testbed for academics. The design of a flexible testbed that supports research and development of various design components, namely network communication protocols, application use cases, cognition and security, of a smart building is presented. The demonstration setup of this testbed for indoor environment monitoring, along with sample visualizations is also presented.

A Cloud based Soil health Digitalization and Monitoring Technique for Optimum Resource Utilization in Smart Farming 基于云的智能农业土壤健康数字化监测技术

The journey of an Agricultural crop from seed germination to the harvesting stage encounters several stages of physical and biochemical changes. The Soil parameters like moisture, macronutrients, and micronutrients play a decisive role to get a healthy agriculture crop with minimal investment and maximal productivity. The information about real-time values of Soil parameters to the end users (farmers) along with scientific advice is essential to avoid over-use or under-use of resources like water and fertilizers, leading to optimal resource utilization. The paper presents Soil sensing technique using spectroscopy and other conventional methods, and its IoT interfacing to measure and digitally disseminate the real-time on-the-soil / information of soil health to the farmers. Further, a cloud based prognostic approach is adopted to assist the farmers for their pilot crops via Maize, Sorghum, and Gram. The proposed technique can be a novel effort in digitalization of manual Soil Health card (Mrida card), and help farmers to increase crop productivity through minimal investigation water and fertilizers.

Wideband Graphene Absorber for Effective Sidelobe Suppression of Triangular Patch Antenna Array 有效抑制三角形贴片天线阵旁瓣的宽带石墨烯吸收体

An effective approach of integrating the microwave absorbing element with microwave radiating source is proposed in reported work to enhance the radiation pattern of radiating source. Microwave absorber in conjunction with patch antenna array produce a modified patch structure whose radiation patterns are better than conventional patch arrays in terms of array directivity, gain and levels of side lobe. Two element triangular patch antenna array has been reported in this work and from array gain and directivity plots it has been authenticated that radiation pattern of antenna array has been modified after integration of microwave absorber. Further the results of triangular array with absorber has been compared with rectangular array to ensure that the performance of triangular array is far better than rectangular array along with reduction in array size.

Performance Analysis of Prediction Based Spectrum Sensing for Cognitive Radio Networks 基于预测的认知无线电网络频谱感知性能分析

Cognitive Radio (CR) was anticipated as a solution to the severe concern in wireless communication i.e. scarcity of accessible spectrum. Spectrum sensing is considered to be the most substantial part in CR. Due to the trade-off between spectrum sensing and throughput of the CR network, the licensed users’ transmission activity prediction is considered as a potential alternative to spectrum sensing. The present work considers a neural network based multilayer perceptron model to predict the availability of licensed spectrum. Performance of this model is evaluated in different traffic load. Stand-alone prediction model and prediction before sensing model, both are analysed with respect to sensing parameters, false alarm and misdetection probability. MATLAB software is used for simulation.

Crisscross Optimization Algorithm for the Designing of Quadrature Mirror Filter Bank 正交镜滤波器组设计中的交叉优化算法

During designing of two channel Quadrature Mirror Filter(QMF) bank, there occurs many errors such as peak reconstruction error, error in pass band, error in stop band, error in transition band and amplitude distortion. There are many meta-heuristic algorithms for the minimization of various errors of two channel QMF banks but they have drawbacks that either their convergence speed is slow or they have poor solution accuracy or premature convergence. In this paper, a concept of the Crisscross Optimization method for minimizing designing error of two channel linear phase QMF bank in frequency domain is introduced. This problem is taken as single objective function. The crisscross optimization algorithm makes use of two important operators that are horizontal crossover (HCX) and vertical crossover (VCX). The HCX operator works by dividing the problem space into simple hypercube with smaller search probability while VCX operator makes a way out for the stagnant dimensions which may be indifferentiable and cause premature convergence. The simulation results are compared with the modified particle swarm optimization, artificial bee colony, XSG and Levenberg Marquart method. From the comparison it is obvious that convergence speed and good solution accuracy.

Novel Considerations in Reducing Noise during FECG Signal Transmission 在FECG信号传输过程中降低噪声的新思路

The recent advancements in the medical field have urged towards the devastating need in remote diagnosis of already recorded Fetal electrocardiogram medical data that are ought to be transmitted along a communication medium. The data’s transmitted during such instances gets affected either by intrusion of noise sources while physically examining the patient using medical instruments or by the malicious chip intrusion for tapping the data. In addition the system architecture itself poses several challenges that affect the throughput and quality of the data at receiving end leading to misinterpretations. Hence the major motive of this paper is to analyse the Lizard Learning classifier along with its novel hybrid model followed by digital IIR filter to remove the traces of noise during the inspection stage using medical instruments and design a robust transceiver section that does not gets easily misled by third party intruders with peculiar and particular choice of VLSI components. This not only serves to be efficient in terms of throughput and quality of acquired data but also reduces area and power consumption. The simulations are carried out using 120 datasets collected from MIT-BIH Arrhythmia using MATLAB 2013b, Xilinx ISE 9.1 and Cadence of 180nm technology for synthesis of area, power and delay reports.

A Novel 8.4 GHz, High Speed and Low Power Design of Programmable Divider in 180nm CMOS Technology 基于180nm CMOS技术的8.4 GHz高速低功耗可编程分频器设计

In this paper, a power efficient and fast divide $- (div) -$ by $32vert 33vert 47vert 48$ multi – modulus prescaler having operating frequency of 8.4 GHz is proposed using a 0.18$mu$ m CMOS technology. The proposed design includes a wideband high operating speed and low power $div -$ by $2vert 3$ prescaler, improvised $div -$ by 2 counters, transmission gate-based MUX and logical gates to switch between division ratios $32vert 33vert 47vert 48$. The power consumption of novel design is 0.2368 $mu W, 0.2287 mu W, 0.2844 mu$ W and 0.2785 $mu$ W during division ratio of 32, 33, 47 and 48, respectively when worked at 0.6 V of power supply. The operating speed of design is improved by 14.2% as compared with the conventional design.

Efficiency Analysis of Online Ticket Reservation System in Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporations (RSRTC) Using ITS & ICT Enabled Services 使用ITS和ICT服务的拉贾斯坦邦公路运输公司(RSRTC)在线订票系统的效率分析

Passenger road transport segment is integral part of socio-economic development of society like ours. Passenger transportation services being provided by public as well as private entities in our country. With reference to nature of passenger transport in India and in Rajasthan in particular, especially RSRTC, the current study is looking at online reservation system and issues pertaining to it. However, despite of improvement in passenger carrying capacity and number of buses still there exist some issues which need to be address very carefully. Amongst all other issues the major one is financial inefficiency or financial ill health of RSRTC i.e. RSRTC is a loss making entity since last some years. [3] Although, there are some ways to address this problem, but major is to be done by attracting more and more passengers and for this more and more facilities to be provided to the passengers. Now, it is said that amongst those facilities, in current digital era online ticket reservation facility is also important one. But it has been observed that despite of many efforts by concerned authorities of RSRTC with reference to online reservation of tickets, still there exist some issues which results into inconvenience and dissatisfaction to passengers and sometimes it get converts into clashes between employees of RSRTC and passengers. Thus in this paper an attempt is being made to look and understand existing system of online ticket booking at RSRTC and try to find out the problem and also suggests possible solution to it using ICT enabled solutions without much of financial burden to RSRTC, which is already having financial problems.

IoT Based Smart Home Automation Enabled with Manual Mode Switch Control 基于物联网的智能家居自动化启用手动模式开关控制

The internet of things is the step towards the digitization of our real world. IoT has given us a platform where we can connect and control over radio waves through the internet. Many IoT based appliances are already available in the market with certain limitations. This paper proposed an IoT based home appliances controlled through internet as well as by the manual switches. We have made certain modifications to these existing electronic boards. The modified system adds extra features to the existing system while retaining its existing features. This proposed IoT based prototype offers a reliable system.
