This study aims to show how the Javanese women's characteristics depict moral messages in a literary work. The research is entitled "The Portrayal of Javanese Women Fortitude in Entrok by Okky Madasari (A Moral Messages Analysis)". The main source of this research is the novel by Okky Madasari titled Entrok and the translated version titled The Years of the Voiceless as a English reference. The result of data analysis showed that the Javanese women have some types of strength and firmness stance that can be moral messages to society, especially for women. The different eras between two women of the main characters Sumarni and Rahayu in the novel Entrok are showed how the characters struggle for their lives as women. Every behaviour or expression that the main characters do will be identified which one is a portrayal of Javanese women fortitude and the depiction of moral messages of the novel by the researcher. In order to find out the moral messages of the main character as Javanese women in the novel, the writer will use the qualitative research method to finish. Furthermore, the writer will also analyse the data from the novel using descriptive analysis. The result is that the amount of data is much different between Sumarni and Rahayu where Sumarni dominates the message of moral values in the novel, hence the main character who can be chosen as a Javanese woman who portrays fortitude in this novel mostly tends to be Sumarni. From the rigid theory about Javanese women''s characteristics, this novel tends to show that women are not simply can be identified as easy to regulated creatures by men. Sumarni and Rahayu depict that women have the power to determine their path in life.
本研究旨在揭示爪哇女性特征如何在文学作品中描绘道德信息。这项研究的题目是“Okky Madasari在Entrok中对爪哇女性坚韧的描绘(道德信息分析)”。本研究的主要来源是Okky Madasari的小说《Entrok》和翻译的《The Years of The Voiceless》作为英文参考。

New teaching methods have led to the changes in the teachers’ roles in an English class, in which teachers’ error correction is an integral part. Language error and corrective feedback have been the interest of many researchers in foreign language teaching. However, the techniques and the effectiveness of teachers’ feedback have been a question of much controversy. This present case study has been carried out with a view to finding out the patterns of teachers’ corrective feedback and their impact on students’ uptake in English speaking lessons of legal English major students at a Law University. In order to achieve those aims, the study makes use of classroom observations as the main method of data collection to seeks answers to the two following questions: 1. What patterns of corrective feedback occur in English speaking lessons for legal English major students in a Law University? 2. To what extent does that corrective feedback lead to students’ uptake? The study provided some important findings, among which was a close relationship between corrective feedback and uptake. In particular, recast was the most commonly used feedback type, yet it was the least effective in terms of students’ uptake and repair, while the most successful feedback, namely metalinguistic feedback, clarification requests and elicitation, which led to students’ generated repair, was used at a much lower rate by teachers. Furthermore, it revealed that different types of errors needed different types of feedback. Also, the use of feedback depended on the students’ English proficiency level. In the light of findings, a number of pedagogical implications have been drawn in the hope of enhancing the effectiveness of teachers’ corrective feedback to students’ uptake in foreign language acquisition process.

The massive popularity of K-Pop currently regards as one of the world's most popular. As a result, the researcher was drawn to the Bangtan Boys (BTS) music videos entitled We Are Bulletproof Pt.2 and Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey). This study aims to find out what kind of masculinity BTS Boy Band built and how they portrayed their masculinity in their music videos. The writer also used the qualitative descriptive based on Roland Barthes' semiotic theory as a sign system separated into denotation and connotation, which builds a myth to obtain the meaning. The results found that the type of masculinity represented by the BTS boyband is metrosexual, seonbi, and bishonen. They have portrayed their masculinity from fashion usage that crosses gender boundaries, expression, and gestures that they represent in the music videos. BTS has a significant role in society as a public figure, especially for the younger generation who love and understand themselves more. If the man himself has femininity and masculinity, there is nothing wrong. BTS has redefined masculinity in many ways, and the most obvious is how they present themselves physically. They portray how the freedom and flexibility to wear whatever they want regardless of gender. BTS also teaches men that it does not become harmful for men to admit that they are vulnerable. It is all right to be clumsy, and nobody will judge anything about it. Loving ourselves is more important than following popular standards in society (which is not necessarily good for one's mental health).
韩国流行音乐目前被认为是世界上最受欢迎的音乐之一。因此,研究人员被防弹少年团(BTS)的mv《We Are Bulletproof Pt.2》和《Boy With Luv (feat)》所吸引。

The study is aimed at analyzing the differences between components in Indonesia’s and Thailand’s English lesson plantings. It is focused on finding the components that are different in four English lesson plannings. This study aims to give new knowledge and insight for Indonesian and Thai teachers to learn about the differences between one and another, and take the idea to arrange more creative and effective lesson plannings that can motivate students to learn English or other subjects for future classes. This study is a comparative-descriptive study which used Hanafiah & Suhana’s theory for Indonesia’s lesson plannings, and Chitchayawanit’s theory for Thailand’s lesson plannings. The methods used in this study are the comparative method and the descriptive method. The study has presented ten different components in English lesson plannings between Indonesia and Thailand. They are school identity, core competencies (KI), basic competencies (KD), learning standards, learner’s key competencies, desired characteristics, learning concept/essence, core content, learning method, and teaching notes. Furthermore, all of the components that have been written in Indonesia’s and Thailand’s lesson plannings are significant and have their own function and are useful for teachers when they have to design the lesson plannings for each meeting
