Climate change has a significant impact on the agriculture sector, and there are several key effects that can occur as a result of climate change on agriculture, including changes in temperature, rainfall patterns, increasing droughts, and floods. This research aims to determine the extent of the fig crop's productivity response to climate change in both short and long periods. This is achieved by analyzing the impact of climate factors such as temperature, rainfall amounts, and distribution over the past years. The main findings of the study indicate that all productivity indicators for the fig crop and climate during the average period of 1999-2022 have shown an increasing trend with varying annual growth rates. By Sherin Fathy Mansour FJARD VOL. 37, NO. 3. PP. 596-610 (2023) 608 examining the time series of the study model variables, it was confirmed that they are stationary after taking the first difference. It was then verified that they are all integrated with a common integration, which necessitates surpassing these variables by representing them in an error correction model. This suggests that the productivity of the fig crop in Matrouh is trending towards its equilibrium value in each time period, with a convergence rate equal to 1.71% of the remaining variation in the period )1-t(. In other words, the productivity of the fig crop diverges during the short period from the equilibrium value in the period )1-t(, and 1.7% of this deviation is corrected. KEYWORD: Climate change, the fig, the Ricardian model, the error correction model. Sherin Fathy Mansour FJARD VOL. 37, NO. 3. PP. 596-610 (2023)

: A facile and convenient protocol is developed for designing new heterocyclic compounds using nontoxic, simple, and eco-friendly methods. A group of novel compounds containing either pyrazole or pyranopyrazole moieties was synthesized using 2-(5-oxo-4, 5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-N-phenylacetamide ( 1a,b ) as a precursor. The structure of the prepared compounds; namely pyranopyrazole derivatives 2 and pyrazole derivatives 3-6 was elucidated using different spectroscopic methods (such as FTIR, 1 H-NMR, Mass spectroscopy, and 13 C-NMR) as well as elemental analyses. Consequently, the newly prepared compounds were all evaluated against different human pathogenic bacterial strains such as Escherichiacoli, Staphylococcusaureus, Pseudomonasaeruginosa, and Bacillussubtilisusing the commercial bactericide chloramphenicol as a reference. Most of the tested compounds showed moderate to high antibacterial activity. Molecular docking study was performed to predict binding affinities and the modes of interactions between the synthesized ligands and the active site of the topoisomerase IV. Presumably, the obtained results provide valuable information for designing, developing, and synthesizing novel heterocyclic scaffolds with enhanced pharmacological applications as antibacterial materials.

This study aimed to achieve the following objectives, to identify the levels of community affiliation of the respondent farmers,. This study was conducted in the village of )Ras Masala( in the center of Ras Sidr on a regular random sample of the total number of farmers, and the number of this sample reached 260 farmers. The data was collected by a questionnaire form through a personal interview. Furthermore, descriptive )frequency and percentage(, analytical )simple correlation chi-square test and stepwise multiple regression(. The most important results of the study were as follows: The results of the distribution of respondents according to the levels of community affiliation indicated the tendency of the levels of community affiliation of the respondents to decrease and mediate, as it was found that about 85.77% of the total respondents are characterized by low to medium levels of community affiliation. There is a significant correlative relationship between the level of community affiliation of the respondents and the following study variables: age, main occupation, marital status, family size, family type, number of years of formal education, communicative ability, cultural openness and ambitious level, participation in development activities, the total degree of social capital, sub-axes of social capital )size of social relations network, membership of organizations, degree of trust capital, leadership position(. This is at the probability level of 0.01

: The phenomenon of inflation is a problem inherent to the economies of different countries of the world, both developed and developing, and it is characterized by its rapid spread from one country to another, its strong growth from time to time, and the difficulty of controlling it. Demand for goods and services without being matched by an increase in real gross domestic product and thus an increase in prices. It also arises as a result of an increase in the costs of domestic and imported production factors, or as a result of an imbalance in some structural factors of the economic structure. The research aims to study the current situation of inflation in the agricultural sector, as well as to study its impact on the production costs of the most important field crops in Egypt, where the inflation rate reached the maximum amount of the total amount in 2020 at a rate of 42.5%, while it reached the minimum rate in 2009 at a rate of 8.% and an average of 22.5%. 20% during the period )2009-2020( and it was found that if the inflation rate of the total amount of agricultural production increased by 10%, this would lead to an increase in the value of land preparation, seeds and cultivation, fertilization, agricultural service, pest control, harvesting, crop transportation, public expenses , rent, costs without rent, rent costs for the wheat crop by 3.2%, 3.6%, 2.6%, 2.8%, 3%, 2.8%, 4.5%, 3.1%, 2.2%, 3.5%, and 3%, respectively. It was found that when the inflation rate of the total amount of agricultural production increased by 10%, this leads to an increase in the cost of preparing the land, seeds and cultivation, agricultural service, pest control, harvesting, crop transportation, general expenses, rent, costs without rent, irrigation, costs rent for maize crop by 2.9%, 2.9%, 3.4%, 3%, 5.7%, 3.9%, 2.7%, 2.7%, 2.1%, 2, 7% and 2.8%, respectively
