Adaptive PMD compensation using DPSO algorithm for high-speed optical fibre communication systems 基于DPSO算法的高速光纤通信系统自适应PMD补偿

We proposed an adaptive PMD compensation scheme based on FPGA using DPSO algorithm. Stable polarization compensation for 43Gbit/s RZ-DQPSK transmission over 1200km was demonstrated with endless polarization scrambling. Excellent performance was accomplished utilizing our scheme in case of changing SOP and DGD in long-haul fibre link.
采用DPSO算法,提出了一种基于FPGA的自适应PMD补偿方案。对43Gbit/s RZ-DQPSK传输1200km的稳定极化补偿进行了验证。在长途光纤链路中,在改变SOP和DGD的情况下,我们的方案取得了优异的性能。

100-Gb/s coherent optical fiber communication with frequency domain equalization 100gb /s频域均衡相干光纤通信

Multi- and single-carrier (SC) coherent optical fiber communication with frequency domain equalization (FDE) is discussed with emphasis on 100-Gb/s operation. 120-Gb/s coherent optical (CO-SCFDE) system over 317-km standard single-mode fiber is demonstrated. Coherent optical orthogonal frequency-division-multiplexing (CO-OFDM) and single-carrier frequency-division-multiplexing scheme (CO-SCFDM) are theoretically and experimentally compared.

We propose a simple configuration of wavelength-tunable self-seeding Fabry-Perot fiber laser at ONUs for upstream transmission in hybrid WDM/TDM PON. The performances of the side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR), tuning range, wavelength and power stability for the proposed laser module are experimentally investigated.

MAC protocol with dynamic priority adjustment for light trail networks 轻轨网络动态优先级调整MAC协议

In this paper a MAC protocol with dynamic priority adjustment for light trail networks is presented. A weight mode which is composed of real-time factor and node activity ratio is used as a bid by each node to compute the priority. Simulation results show that DPA MAC reduced the burst loss rate and improved activity percentile when compared with FP MAC.

A corrugation-pitch-modulated (CPM) distributed feedback (DFB) semiconductor laser based on reconstruction-equivalent-chirp (REC) technology is first proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The laser operates in good stable single longitudinal mode even the injection current very high.

Experimental research on preamplifier for high power Yb-doped fiber pulse amplification 高功率掺镱光纤脉冲放大前置放大器的实验研究

By using cascaded Wavelength Division Multiplexing and pumping in sectionalization method, ASE and feedback were greatly suppressed. At repetition rate of 50kHz and pulse duration of 20ns, gain of amplified signal was 17.1dB with a high signal to noise ratio of 25dB. The whole system is a good choice for a preamplifier of high-power pulse amplification.

We propose a new method for optical frequency comb (OFC) based on cascading intensity modulation. And then by selecting spectral lines of interest from OFC via optical filters, 10GHz, 20GHz sinusoidal signals with low phase noise and several desirable waveforms are generated.
