Since the energy detection method (ED) is suitable for detecting independent signals and easy to implement, it is widely used in spectrum sensing. While maximum eigenvalue-based detection (MED) method outperforms the ED method in correlated signals scenarios. However, both algorithms are greatly affected by the uncertainty of the noise power. To render the detection algorithms more practical, two totally-blind methods, estimated-noise-power based energy detection (ENP-ED) method and the ratio of maximum eigenvalue to trace detection (MET) method are considered in this paper. According to meta-analysis, the ENP-ED method and MET method are combined by using Fisher's method and the weighted z-transform method to derive two totally-blind mixture detection methods. Furthermore, for simplicity, we directly combine ENP-ED and sphericity test by weight to derive an improved mixture detection method. Finally, simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

The article discusses various schemes for constructing antenna systems with wide-angle scanning in the azimuth plane for a ground communication system. It is shown that antennas with spatial arrangement of elements allow increasing the gain. The directivity and frequency characteristics of such antennas are determined. It is shown that at small sizes of the equivalent aperture, there is a small difference in the energy parameters. Preliminary calculations of various schemes for constructing antenna arrays with wide-angle scanning have been carried out. The element base for the manufacture of radiators of a cylindrical antenna array has been determined. Electrodynamic models of microstrip dipole radiators operating in the 9% band have been developed. Parametric optimization of such antennas is performed. A technique for calculating the elements of the antenna array has been developed. The directivity characteristics of dipole radiators and antenna arrays of two elements that make up the sub-array of cylindrical active phased antenna arrays are determined. The influence of the mounting frame on the directivity and matching characteristics is shown. The sublattice design has been optimized to achieve the required matching. A model of a cylindrical antenna array has been developed. Issues of beam formation and control are considered. The characteristics of the directivity and matching of the cylindrical antenna array are determined, considering the influence of the fastening elements and the radome.

Residue Number System (RNS) is a non-positional number system that allows the construction of error-correcting codes. Features such as parallel processing capability and scalability are significant advantages of RNS. The redundancy of the RNS code allows the creation of error correction codes, affects their properties and can be selected for specific tasks. This paper describes a method for analyzing the distribution of errors over the entire range of the RNS. This method can improve the design of specific data storage and processing systems, since it allows determining the corrective properties of the used RNS.

Features of heterogeneous dynamic systems, an important class of models employed in different engineering areas, are considered. The classification of events in hybrid dynamical systems is expanded on. The family of complex event detection algorithms is introduced. Requirements to modeling and simulation environments supporting heterogeneous dynamic systems are given. Modern complex dynamic system modeling and simulation environments are tested for satisfaction of the identified requirements.

The use of cloud computing imposes a number of restrictions related to the security and confidentiality of stored and processed data. One of the mechanisms that allows expanding the scope of public cloud services for processing personal and medical data is homomorphic encryption. Homomorphic encryption allows performing arithmetic addition and multiplication operations on encrypted data. To expand the scope of homomorphic encryption, efficient algorithms are needed to implement the operation of comparing encrypted numbers. In this paper we investigate existing algorithms of encrypted numbers comparison for homomorphic encryption schemes operating both with integers and with fixed-precision numbers. We have shown that for homomorphic integer ciphers, there are efficient algorithms for comparing encrypted numbers based on Lagrange interpolation of a function of two variables. We have shown that fixed-precision comparison of encrypted numbers is an open problem.

This paper compares several deep learning models on the task of multi-step trajectory forecasting of a non-manoeuvring ballistic vehicle. We use state-of-the-art techniques to build and train LSTM, GRU, and Transformer architectures and test their performance versus the multi-layer perceptron baseline. The experiments on synthetic data show that, in our problem settings, trajectory forecasting is best performed with the LSTM network with a trainable initial state. Although the Transformer models were able to outperform the baseline, they could not outrun the recursive neural networks in terms of prediction errors.

This paper provides the results of experiments on process trees reconstruction using graph rewriting-based method, that is theoretically proved to reconstruct in polynomial time any configuration of process tree with different process' identifiers, sessions, process groups, reverse reparents and attributes with the same semantics of process tree changing. The datasets for experiments were generated synthetically, according to standard process' configurations in cases of terminal job control and daemon activity. Graph rewriting-based method results is compared with profiling results both on time-costs and reconstruction results. The corresponding experimental software package is also discussed in the paper.

Continuous automation, which excludes a person from control systems, often leads to unpredictable consequences. However, for complex large-scale man-machine complexes and technological facilities with an increased risk of operation, it is required to create information support systems for decision-making for decision-makers. The article discusses some issues of building a new generation of information support systems for decision-making to improve the efficiency and safety of the functioning of human-machine control systems (HMCS) and production facilities. The application of neuro-fuzzy logics and adaptive methods of modeling and management as intelligent tools for building information support systems for operational personnel is considered. A new hybrid method for assessing and predicting the states of weakly formalized and fuzzy systems is proposed, based on a neuro-fuzzy model and effective algorithms for adaptive identification.

This paper describes the realising and analysis of the applicability of artificial intelligence technology and game theory to resolve conflict situations that occur during railway traffic. In this technology, decision-making on the train traffic control on the railway section is based on the using of an intelligent management approach. The proposed approach includes a model of dispatcher operating in conflict situations and a model of railway traffic. The dispatcher operating model is implemented using a fully connected artificial neural network with several hidden layers. The neural network is trained using a genetic algorithm. The main idea of this approach is to approximate the problem of train traffic control to one of the problems of game theory, which involves a single player-dispatcher interacting with a group of agents-trains in a dynamic environment.
